Who isn't like a drive thru pharmacy that is open until 10pm!?! Is it the perfect pharmacy, no. That's because a perfect pharmacy does not exist. We're all regular people, working, paying bills and just trying to get by.My interactions are most always pleasant. We all have bad days so I'm not so quick to judge if a staff members aren't overly friendly. Our Berea location is solid. Dependable pharmacy staffed with pharmacist who are easy to talk to and down to earth, which is important when I have questions about medications.I've used photo services several times this year. No issues, great sales/coupons and quality photos.Curbside pickup for orders over $10 is amazing! Being able to add prescriptions to that order so even better.5 stars!

You need to have better rules for the drive thru. Often waiting in long lines. If peoples prescriptions aren’t ready they need to be told to either drive back around or go inside. Not fair to those who have prescriptions ready for pickup.

I had originally wanted to give a lower rating because I guess I go during their busiest times and always have a long wait. I transferred my 1 med filled there to CVS thinking it would be worth it saving my time. Nope, CVS doesn't take GoodRx for certain meds anymore making the cost $350. At Walgreens the same medication with a discount card is $30. Their prices definitely make me want to give them 5 stars because being disabled on many meds, cost is important.Remember they are human being working there. I've seen people post they talk too much to other patients, are slow, etc. They are not robots, and honestly everyone I know talks while they work, so remember they are people too.

There are a couple of very friendly and helpful people I’ve had a pleasure dealing with in the pharmacy, although the others are incredibly incompetent and instead of asking for help and resolving the issue, they’ll double down and just not get your meds. On the store side, the customer service is atrocious and the return policy is discriminatory to minorities. I’d explore every option possible for my meds than to ever step foot back into this Walgreens. Highly recommend MED SAVE in Berea or literally anywhere else.

Walgreens pharmacy in general is a joke at this point. Richmond and Berea both.I come in for two prescriptions- told only one was called in and I t would be 45 minutes before it is ready, which seems ridiculous because it’s a bottle you can literally slap a label on. Fine. So I leave and call my doctor, the other prescription magically appears at the pharmacy even though they “didn’t have it”. I call back to make sure they have everything and then was told it would be almost an hour and a half before it’s ready. Come on.Same issue yesterday with wait time for my son’s prescription- 30 minutes for a bottle that you slap a label on.Every time we go here it’s an issue with time. Either hire more people or work faster

The pharmacy is the worst! I've never had to wait as long in the drive-thru to pick up a prescription at any other location! Waited almost 40 mins to pick up one item for my child! Ridiculous!

The pharmacy has definitely improved immensely. The pharmacist that helped me today was so awesome it almost brought me to tears. Normally it is so stressful when you have an issue and a struggle to get resolved but today was different & it was taken care of in minutes. She was polite, understanding and professional. Went out of her way to put me at ease. So grateful and will continue to go to this location.

My lord, do not get your prescriptions filled here. As with any Walgreens, they’re severely understaffed. If you have the time to wait 45 min every time you need to pick up, then have at it. PS…forget about calling, you’ll never get an answer

At this point, I’m tempted to switch to another pharmacy in the area. The staff are rude anymore and act like you’re wasting their time when you come in for pickup or questions. I’ve tried calling them multiple times, only to have the recording tell me that they’re dealing with other calls for over 10 minutes. My OBGYN has been trying to get my heartburn medication switched to no avail. I don’t recommend Berea Walgreens at all.

Good luck with needing a restroom with a small child in need. Rude staff when asked. You ring a bell and even though they knew you were going back there no one showed up. Was visiting from out of town needed a few things took my business elsewhere.

Just moved to the area was getting established at the local Walgreens updating addresses and picking up a prescription for my 15 year old, short black haired lady was so rude & acted just annoyed to be bothered with me. Wouldn't take the medical card, my daughter has been using walgreens over 13 years info is in the system just a new card. (The Dr's office had no issue with the card) I told her if I couldn't get the medication my child would go through withdrawals from said medication told me she wouldn't fill it as I walked away i was halfway down the isle she proceeded to scream through the store “have a nice day”. So completely humiliating there was quite a few people waiting, they seen & heard her, not a very welcoming experience will be doing business elsewhere from here on out.

Would give zero stars if I could. Constant errors and delays and the staff act as if they could care less, you feel like a number and an annoyance. You can also forget about calling the pharmacy because they refuse to answer the phone. After waiting over 30 minutes today I called the main store number from another phone and asked them to have pharmacy answer their phone, 2 minutes later they picked up. When I went to pick up my meds, which were not ready, I listened to the phone ring non-stop the entire time. After 45 minutes of being told 10-15 minutes I asked again and was told they had been calling some random name so it was my fault I didn't come up. Obviously my fault that I didn't realize I had been assigned a random name nowhere near my own. Getting your medications anywhere else is preferable to dealing with this uncaring and incompetent crew.

One of a series of really disappointing experiences we had in the area. We are debaters who travel through the US and I am updating on behalf of both my self and the team (we all had the same experience with the team)...we felt that this Walgreens was very middling and its service was absolutely infuriating and frustrating as heck compared to the location at our home that we (and one of my friends) has shopped at. We only came here at the last moment but had delays that were frankly intolerable. We almost showed up to our destination late because of this clerk here who couldn't do her job.

This is a great store. Something's are too expensive here like eggs or batteries, but they do offer some pretty cool services that can actually save you money. For instance, you can load money on to Chime (and a couple other) cards for free, which is great instead of having to pay $5 per load with others. They also have a great assortment of Vitamins and Minerals that are almost always on sale. So something's are terribly expensive and other things have the best price. It just depends on what you need. Oh, and the best part about the whole store is Tammy! She is a character and I have grown fond of seeing her at the register. She is so kind, but don't get on her bad side! 🤣🤣 Anyway, all-in-all I give it 5 Stars.

Consistent errors on my husband’s prescriptions and occasionally on mine - more often lately. Customer service is the worst. Lots of socializing small talk by one of techs when we are waiting in line. Not to mention now they are closing down pharmacy for lunch with no one available to even receive or cash out customers. Today made 3rd trip to pick up husbands INSULIN and no one there to even update me - I want them to have lunch breaks, of course, but closing down and not alternating techs for customer facing service is ridiculous. When I asked the clerk if they were short staffed, he became incredibly rude and laughed at me. He was incredibly condescending. Instead of saying Im sorry, he laughed and said that he was sorry that the staff was human and had to eat. Again, I did not have a problem with lunch but closing down the entire pharmacy is ridiculous.

Had my flu shot here a few months ago and made my appointment and filled out paperwork and insurance online. Arrived 15 minutes early as the website instructed. Then had to fill out paperwork again in person and had to wait over an hour for a shot that took half a second, even people that came in after me were called before me. Very frustrating but I gave them a second chance for my Covid booster since I always hear such good things about Walgreens. Same thing happened this time and waited about an hour with the waiting area practically empty. Wouldn’t recommend to go here especially if you are in a hurry or expecting to get in at your appointment time. I give 2 stars because the staff was nice but they need more people working if it is going to be this time consuming.

This is partially of walgreens overall- I placed a pickup order for gift cards and they didn't activate them (so thats a local issue). By the time anyone tried the cards, I was back across the country. When I tried their chat service they said I had to call, when I called the 800 # they said they needed all the gift card #s and all the rf something #s and the order #s etc and then they still might not do anything about it "it's up to upper management." $70 and that was their customer service response.

The worst pharmacy that I’ve ever used. Prescriptions take for ever to refill here. They Text me today and said my latest scrip was ready for pickup, but I got there and they said it wasn’t ready just yet. Waited another hour before it was ready. This is Again the Worst Pharmacy

Horrible experience. I’ve waited on my insulin for 3 days now and no one answers the phone, when I go they say it’s out of stock. They’ve done it multiple times now. Horribly long waits. Generally rude customer service. GO ANYWHERE ELSE

Pharmacies get a bad rap, but the pharmacy is managed well overall, and the regular checkout line is usually only about 3-5 deep. The photo section is not manned and you need to wait for someone.

Extremely sad when the store manager come to his inventory 2 hours late doesnt even let rgis know that he has showed up. Their backroom is a mess pharmacy is destroyed and they didnt even verifie the areas until done then gets mad and cusses us out when we told him we are done and can not give him more time then kicks us out. It's sad that a grown man acts that way and also some of the staff are extremely rude and disrespectful. If I could I would give them zero stars. I will not come here and inventory this store or shop here again.

Super slow. I call before coming to see if medication is ready set in the line for 30 mins and the medication isn’t ready have to wait another 20 mins to fill them then wait in the 30 min line again. 😅

The store itself is great. They always have great deals, have almost anything you would need, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.They lose a star on the pharmacy. I have never seen a pharmacy so slow. They will take 10+ minutes per car in the drive thru, and just about as long inside. I don't know what they do. I have used the Walgreen pharmacy in Richmond and Pineville, and both are quick and easy. This one must just be mis-managed or something.

Picking up my daughters prescription today there was only one car at the drive through window. I thought this is my lucky day…….nope! I sat in line for 20-30 minutes. Come to find out the guy in front of me was giving himself a Covid test!!! Really!! Now the drive through is for Covid testing!!! Now I’m sitting here waiting on them to give me my daughters prescription. The lady forgot about me!! I’m sitting at the drive through window!! She said she was trying to do two things at once. You only need to do one! Get my prescription that’s READY!!!

I would give this location 0 stars if possible. I went to get my prescription after seeing it was ready to be picked up just to be told that they never had it. So I come back a whole week later and when I’m there, they can’t find it. So I waited 50 minutes just for them to find extra pills from 2 different manufacturers and fill the prescription while I was there. This is honestly the worst Walgreens I have ever been to, and if I go back, it’s only because I have to.

If planning on using the drive thru pack a lunch, seriously in my experience 20 minute wait is average here. They will not make customers pull around while waiting on a script to be filled STUPID. Its called drive thru not pull up and sit.
