This pet store in Berea was really cool. Every pet you could imagine and all the supplies for any and all of them. My daughter bought all her stuff for the bearded dragon she is getting soon. My favorite part…Marty the parrot. He’s so cool and has so much personality, especially if you go out of your way to interact with him. He’s not for sale but he’s worth stopping in to see!

It appeared they were clearing out of that property bc it obviously has some major repairs that are needed to be done. Hopefully they are going to reopen at a new property bc it was a pretty cool spot.

I recently bought myself a baby Axolotl, my only reason for taking off a star is because the axolotl was missing a couple of limbs! It did have some tank-mates which I can only assume ate off the poor thing’s hands. But other than that it’s a very healthy looking, happy, axolotl! And the tank conditions looked perfectly fine at the store! The axolotl can surely regenerate its limbs in no time, so I’m not extremely worried! But maybe next time… separate 5-10 gallon tanks for the babies? Thanks!

I love this place so much it’s like a home to me the two owners are super nice all the employees are very helpful. I got a kitten from there two days ago and it was well taken care of and it was in a very clean environment. When I tell you that the employees and the owners work their but off to make sure that they have the store clean, the animals are fed, the animals have gotten enough attention, all the customers okay and gotten the help they need. I love this place❤️❤️

Excellent place to visit! I drove 2hrs to pick up my little guy.. Very clean, knowledgeable, friendly, and they have a huge selection of pets as well as products. I definitely recommend them for your pet needs!

What an absolutely amazing place. Great staff, wonder selection and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Staff knowledge is fantastic, even in the process of training new employees! Responsive and understanding!!It feels like seeing friends when we stop in! I can’t stop saying how much I love this place.

I love this pet shop! They have a good variety of pets and a really good price on everything. It is nice to pet on the cats and the huge green iguana they have running around the shop too lol.

I regularly go here to purchase feeder fish. While waiting, I enjoy perusing their wide variety of critters, which are well cared for and their cages are well maintained and clean. Prices are a bit high, but in all honesty are quite fair for an independently owned store. They're good about responding to messages online via FB. All considered, a nice little pet store that's an unexpected find for its location. The only reason I have them four rather than five stars is because not enough of their staff is fully or consistently knowledgeable about their stock and critters...the owner and some select staff are quite knowledgeable, but others, not so much. Completely a hit or miss situation there. But if you can't get answers while you're in the store and you contact them online, they are good about getting back to you.

I travel 55 mins just to get fish from here if that says anything. I love how knowledgeable everyone is about the different animals they keep especially the fish. I like how the owner has always been helpful even via messages if you need to as a question. It's just the best place to get healthy fish that will thrive.

Always so much fun for my 6 year daughter to get to go in here just as it was for my 20 year old when she was younger. I love how they have a puppy for sale and are able to let it run around the store getting use to so many people. Always fun seeing the birds and them repeating everything you say

They have a very wide variety. Store is clean. Tanks are clean. I was a bit concerned over 1 of the birds, he was picking his feathers out and that isn't a good sign. There is a huge iguana just hanging out and he's cool and very sweet. It didn't look like he had enough room to move around though.

We recently found this place and love the selections they offer! They have a lot of our water products for aquariums in bottles big enough to upkeep the 75 & 125 gallon tanks at good prices! The tanks and fish are healthy and it's worth the 45 minute drive to get there. We have also loved the selection for spiderwood and plants for our tanks. They also have a good selection of hamster and small animal supplies. We couldn't find sand bath (not dust) anywhere but it was in stock here. The employees are amazing. Friendly, helpful and show actual care for all the animals. We definitely recommend giving them a visit!

I stop in here just to say hello to the animals sometimes. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Place is clean. Large variety of products and options. The birds, Marty and Pearl, and Zootey the iguana, are super cool to check out.

Great pet shop. Most of the employees know what they are talking about as long as they are not new. Good selection of fish and quite a few other animals. Not the biggest selection of reptiles, especially snakes.They have a really good variety of products, and carry quality brands. Price is higher than big box stores, but that is to be expected. Owner is really nice and very knowledgeable.I've only had one issue ("ready to use" fish filter was missing the carbon inside when I opened it). Called them up and they said bring it in and change it out. No problem at all.I would definitely recommend this place, especially for aquarium products and fish.

One of my favorite pet shops, drove an hour just to stop by. Bought a tarantula and they even priced me the tank it came in as well so I was able to buy the entire setup. Also when I asked them a question on Facebook yesterday they responded very promptly.

The most amazing selection of pets of anywhere I have ever visited. What made it truly awesome was the help from the staff. The gentleman was extremely knowledgeable about setting up and caring for a fish tank, what species of fish worked best together, and helped us get fully set up. Highly recommend!!

Update: It's going down hill. Don't get me wrong Mike is awesome but his wife is not. I've been going for 4 years and they are usually clean and knowledgeable, at least they used to be. I've seen great employees be forced to quit and it's obvious why. Just upsetting to see an awesome local place like this take a turn.

good store average go about , average pricingUpdate :)Three happy flppers 🐇still kicking around after a few years with us I'm delighted I found this place and the kids enjoy visiting hereUnfortunately we lost our canaries after an heavy eruption at a very near by gas plant..however I know why they use to be used now sadly I don't think we can own anymore while living here, I would definitely recommend this place for fish, rabbits,reptiles,mice an other assorted wildlife.Easy to find off the road wheelchair accessible and of course pet friendly. They also have Marshall ferret starter cages can order large ones and bird cages (aviary) and aquariums and reptile cage assortments. Prices are fair and better than other places. -I checked in 9 other counties. For the selections available when I stock this place is better an more reliable.

Horrible place. They are selling sick animals to customers as well as keeping sick animals in the bathroom as if it’s some kind of animal quarantine center. The same restrooms that employees use. So many miss treated animals. If you save an animal from this place, be sure to take them to the vet immediately for evaluation.

They have an awesome array of fish, the atmosphere is very well kept, and the animals are well taken care of.On the other hand, the last few months the tanks are infested with ICH (a disease for fish that cause white spots and usually die) issue with the fish. Almost all the tanks have it and the fish look awful because of it. It’s been going on for awhile which seems to me, they are selling to customers who aren’t knowledgeable on fish. You will spend more money on trying to treat the fish than what it’s worth, if they even live.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff with great service. I always leave happy with what I need at reasonable prices. Kids love going to see the animals and feed the turtles. I have a couple fish aquariums, turtles, cats, dogs and many stray animals I care for outdoors; this is a one stop shop for all I need.

Nice, friendly people. Very helpful to get you everything you may need for all your pet needs. They carry great quality supplies. This is like a one stop shop from dogs, cats, crickets, fish, rabbits, and pet snakes. They have all the things to make sure you are set up and animals fed as well. This is the best pet store I have been too. If you have Adventurous pets, stop by and see the nice friendly folks at Adventure Pets in Berea Ky. I guarantee you will leave happy.

They’re a little overpriced, but the pets seem to be healthy.My kids enjoy coming in to talk to the birds.I wish they would let us hold the puppies and kitties! They Look so sad in their pens all day. It’s healthier for them to be held and played with them to sit there in a box.

I recently discovered this petstore a few months ago by chance. I was immediately shocked at the prices, they were the BEST I've seen yet on koi and other fish. The size variety, color, everything. I've purchased numerous koi/goldfish for my pond. I've also recently purchased a large aquarium and have been having issues with it. The owner who I think is named Mike and a very friendly girl, didn't catch her name, have literally done so much to help get my tank back in line. From testing my water for free to helping me pick out treatments. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

My fiancé and I bought our first kitten here around 2 weeks ago. We thought it was gonna be nice to have a pet we got together. We have 1 other cat but it was his childhood cat so we wanted one that we both raised. We got an adorable gray kitten. He was super sweet and we quickly fell in love with him. Sadly, last night we noticed he wasn’t moving right. Then about an hour later he had no activity in his legs and couldn’t move. I know they were working because he could put pressure back on our hand when we pushed his paw. We knew he wasn’t gonna make it so we sat in the floor with him until he passed away around 2 hours later. I’ve never seen my fiancé cry so hard. DO NOT BUY A KITTEN HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO FEEL HEARTBREAK!
