This place closes early so much you almost have to call ahead to see what time they close that day. I’m not talking about a few minutes either I’m talking 1-2 hours. The new management sucks.

They stay so busy and the staff im sure is over worked and underpaid yet stay pleasant and helpful at all times . I really enjoy going to this particular one but the one in draffenville needs help organizing it is bad

This place I really hate because the management and staff are extremely rude. They might as well fire the whole store and start hiring people that's friendly and provide better service.

Seems like the employees aren't as happy as they used to be. I used to love shopping at this Dollar Store! But from now on, I'll get what I can from other places! I will not be back in this store until something is done about treating their employees right!!! A manager or assistant manager should not be talking to them the way that they do! And you can't get anyone at the register, because they are always having to stock and clean the back of the store. And I thought the cashier wasn't responsible for the back!!! That's what the manager is supposed to do. But I never see her doing anything! Except riding her cashier's to get it done!!

Love Dollar General stores they have just about everything and the employees are always there to help youJust wish you'd stop moving stuff around. I was once told all the stores were going to have the same layout, but that never happened. Wish you'd do it.

With a 4 year old that went through the whole store and couldn't find anything he wanted. This was just the store to be in. All of the workers were extra nice even coming out in the rain for us. And going to the back to get something special for him. Wonderful group of workers and great store.

I have yet to find a Dollar General or similar store that fails miserably. My biggest, consistent complaint is that there is always a line at the register and usually it is long. And I have never seen one yet that went to the Aldi school of "Blazing Speed Checkout Skills." Unless they were a drop out. There are some things here that are truly more expensive than in other stores. My regular purchases include Sudoku books and envelopes. I purchased a yarn mop from one of these stores and the yarn was thin and light enough where it simply was inadequate for cleaning my kitchen. I do not think that I I would ever write any Dollar General 5 star store. If they would correct the checkout process I can see my rating moving up to four stars. Compared to many other stores where I shop, the employees are not very friendly.

This dollar store is the worst one I've ever shopped at. Nobody likes going to it. I don't know how many people drive to the surrounding dollar stoes because this one is horrible. You cannot walk through the isles the shelves are always a mess. The employee's are very very rude.They never smile say hello have a nice day. If you ask for help they either tell you where to look, they don't know, the manager at this time is very rude and disrespectful. She should not be an employee. I will never go back to it again. Parking is bad. Benton ky store sucks

We just drove 45 minutes One Direction to pick up a pool that's supposed to be 3 ft deep. I called ahead and spoke with an Associate (Alexis) to confirm it there before travel. I got there and she pointed at one that was 18 inches deep like we already have for the kids and said that's all she had. Her defense was that they are bigger than they look on the picture, to which I replied to her we did not discuss pictures over the phone we discussed dimensions...

They apparently have started winter hours as of 1- 4 -19 at the Benton store across from Wal-Mart. It's now 9pm. Not sure how long that lasts but I was shocked and don't know what they did to promote this change, but I hope it's not all the stores. They also had one door locked at 8:45 and that hurts when you're expecting a door to move when you push it and it doesn't. I have back issues and that hurt when it jarred my body! I didn't appreciate that!Not sure how I feel that it helps us customers.

I prefer the dollar general in hardin as this one is pretty busy most of the time but the workers seem friendly enough and helpful. All in all, not a bad place to shop to avoid walmart.

I went to dollar general in Benton with my mom a d grandson. As far as I was concerned I thought it was a good trip until I was walking out and the manager said to the other customers anyone need a nerve pilkike me!!!!!!! Really Ted ne off. She was also reported but I haven't heard back

Unfortunate this is the closest DG to me. I just travel 10 minutes down the road to DG in sharpe because the one there has friendly staff and is a CLEAN store. I once went to this one and asked for note cards, and the response to me was: “well, they’re in a box somewhere and I don’t know where to look, so we don’t have any opened.” Always a horrible experience.

This store is very cluttered. You can't really find what you need because there is so much clutter. I was treated very rudely by the manager and employees. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Not the low level employees fault. I blame mgmnt and upper management. Entry level employees are grossly overworked and under compensated. They need separate cashiers and stockers. For real

Same thing. They need seperate stockers and checkers. Come checkout time, everyone is in back stocking shelves. Overworker and underpaid. Show mercy to the staff. Management sux.

The store is always understaffed. I went in, walked around looking for something. When I couldn't find what I wanted I looked around for someone since no one was at the register to check people out. I never found what I was looking for so I just left and went to Wal-Mart.
