Store isn't even open during regular business hours, no paper/sign on the door explaining why. Doors just don't open.

Certainly one of the worst CVS that I've been to. Medicine not ready when promised, another time the pharmacist didn't show up so they couldn't do anything since they didn't have a backup, also booked a vaccine appt and when I went in they hadn't even received any yet. Not sure why they let me book it or didn't call to cancel. Fortunately there are better pharmacies to go to.

I went to pick up my grandsons ear drops for a severe ear infection. The dark headed woman running the register in the pharmacy was so rude to me and condescending. They needed a pre authorization. Refused to answer any questions and told me she couldn’t tell me how much it would be without the insurance without the pre authorization which made no sense. Then I called my doctors office and had them on speaker and she was just as rude with them. We finally got another medicine called in. When I finally said I was sorry she hated her job but I was tired of her being so hateful to me she grabbed my medicine she was ringing up which I owed nothing for and sat it behind the counter and refused to give it to me. She then walked to the window grabbed her drink took a drink and leaned up against the counter. The pharmacist herself had to come over after I waited and give me the medicine! The pharmacist apologized and the hateful woman then walked up and started arguing. I’m in shock they allow this behavior.

when i looked on line, you were the only store i could buy coricidin hbp. i bought it and paid 16.49. Had to pickup some things at Walmart, so i looked if perhaps their website was wrong, and they DID have same exact item for SIX DOLLARS AND THREE CENTS LESS. that is outrageous!!! i will check walmart first next time it says something they dont have .

Made an online prescription refill first thing in the morning it said it would be done several hours later at 2pm, I arrived at 3pm they hadn't even started it, so I had to wait another 45 minutes to get my inhaler.

Can never get through on the phone and then when they do finally answer are always rude. It has been a revolving door of employees ever since covid and rarely do I encounter someone helpful there anymore.

This is the worst experience I have ever had in a pharmacy. The “pharmacy manager” YELLED my name to get my attention when I was halfway through the store trying to leave. None of my prescriptions were ready although they said they were on my CVS App. Ashley the “Pharmacy Manager” rudely and loudly told me that “they were NOT filling my prescription early” when I never asked them too. I specifically asked for the medications that my App told me were filled. That is all. I will never go back in this place and I will tell everyone including my doctors office how awful I was treated.***Edit***Called and spoke to my doctor who had to send in all new prescriptions to Draffenville Pharmacy. Called Draffenville Pharmacy to ask what medications were to early to be filled and guess what? They are all ready to be filled and they are ready to be picked up 20 minutes after being called in.Just a really big thank you to Ashley for being so tirelessly dedicated to her customer service. I hope you & whoever is over you, see this raving review! (& all the other overwhelmingly positive reviews for your store!)

Went to pick up my monthly meds. Just blood pressure and depression meds, nothing controlled. Happened to look at my bottle while I waited for my husband to come out of the store. 20 pills instead of 30. Come on people! Can you not count?! Women at the window was rude, the pharmacist was decent. Been in medical field a long time. But this is a first. Lol. Got to find someone who can count to 30 without using their fingers and toes.

This CVS store in Benton Kentucky is terrible. Several times I have tried to get my meds here only to get there and it not be filled. My doctor has told me they have a terrible time getting through to CVS pharmacy. Today I was trying to get my Metformin so I called my doctor and told them I was out. The doctor said they would call it in which I’m sure they did but probably could not get through. I stayed on the line to CVS for a half hour trying to find out if the order was there to no avail. No one ever answered the phone so I drove a 20 or 30 minutes to Benton Kentucky to check on it. When I got there I was told they did not have it. I am sure the problem is they did not answer the phone just like they did with me as the whole time I was there the answering machine was calling out three pharmacy calls. Nobody was answering them and the place was not that busy. Highly recommend finding a different pharmacy than CVS at Benton Kentucky.Update Nov. 2022. The review above was a review I posted a couple of months ago. I went to the Benton CVS store today and I will say the people out front are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Could not ask for any better. The people back in the pharmacy though are a whole different story. You stand there waiting on them to come help you even while they are having personal conversations while you wait. Also very unfriendly atmosphere in the pharmacy. Looks like they are afraid to smile and begrudge having to help you.

It has been a very frustrating experience but I will say the staff at Benton CVS were exceptional this week in helping me get what I need. Ms Barbara was very patient and kind after working long hours! These employees work hard to take care of peoples needs and often are not recognized for what they do.

Absolutely horrible experience!! Had my sim test at the clinic next door as positive for Flu A. They sent in 2 scripts. Instead of going through the drive through like I normally would, I went in because my son needed some water. It took almost AN HOUR AND A HALF to fill a cough medicine and a nasal spray… RUKM??! I should have grabbed some flo-nays and some otc cough medicine and just left. An hour and a half with no one in front of me was just unacceptable with a sick kid in the car 😡

I'm 100% thankful for Barbara in the pharmacy. She went above and beyond to help me get a PA to a Dr's. Office. If it weren't for her I'd not been able to get my medicines.. Good Job CVS for having Barbara running your pharmacy!!!!

Ridiculously inconvenient. Understaffed. Im pretty sure they only have 1 pharmacist. It's not possible for 1 person to work everyday. So the pharmacy is either closed on random days or closes early. Its nearly impossible to get the pharmacy on the phone. So if I need a refill I have to go in the store (bc the drive thru is usually not open) wait in line, request my refill, wait 45 minutes to an hour and a half, return to line and pray medication is ready. This has been going on for at least 2 months. I dont understand why corporate hasn't done something to help this situation.

Not sure what’s the exact problem with this place but I think the pharmacists has mental problems. My son was sick with a double ear infection. The doctor had to call in the prescription 4 times and after making 6 trips back and forth (each time they told me a different story) and the doctor calling it in for the 5th time it magically appeared all of sudden. The doctor was very frustrated with them and even suggested I use a different pharmacy. My wife was very sick today and when I go to pick her meds up they were closed due to “staffing issues.” They do not realize other people need their meds. They clearly can’t keep workers for a reason. Get a change in management and you might see a difference if she hasn’t ran it into the ground already.

I have used CVS, Benton, Kentucky for over 8 years now. When I call, I am usually it on HOLD with some hideous music for more than one hour! I am a steady customer, as I have numerous health problems. I have experienced descrepancies in my pill count over 7 times now, ALWAYS on the short side. Today I was put on HOLD over 1 hour. I have gone to other pharmacies with friends, and NONE of them have this problem! I will NEVER USE this incompetent pharmacy again!

I gave a one star because there is no way to give zero they have been absolutely horrible the pass three years. They have lied to me about having my medicine. They have took three days just to feel medicine I need when I'm sick you wait forever for someone to answer a phone or to even wait on you I am very unhappy and moving my business!

No one ever answers the phone no matter when I call! Not everyone knows their prescription number for the automated thing! Just recently went in to get a family members meds waited over 20 minutes. And the lady that came up with the short spiky brown hair was rude to me. I don't appreciate being looked down upon. If you have to fill your meds don't do it here. Ridiculous the wait time and rude workers.

Scheduled a booster shot for today for myself and my wife about a week back. Show up punctually for the appointment times only to be told the vaccine had been damaged during the recent power outage from the tornado. Understandable that their cold storage went out, not understandable that they couldn't take the time to review the appointments and inform people. Wasn't just a one-off either, a number of people showing up for their appointments.

I would have given zero stars if that was an option. Absolute worse experience I have ever had in a store. Long story short and I will leave out many details, as I could write a novel about this experience. I had placed an online photo order and went to pick up my pictures. There is no associate at their “photo center” which is just a printer out in the open and I saw that my pictures were ready. Like any person would do who was not getting assistance, I picked up my pictures and that is when I was approached from behind by manager Kris who asked if I needed help. I expressed that I was there to pick up my pictures and ready to check out. I then got a not so nice lecture that I shouldn’t touch the pictures because they could have been someone else, even though the envelope had MY name on it, there is no one there to help you, and the printer is in the open for anyone to access. Kris also told me that if I didn’t receive an email then I didn’t need to be there yet. I apologized and simply asked if I could purchase. Kris then again stated “for future reference, don’t come back until you have an email telling you to”Moving forward, I explained that I had a coupon and didn’t see where I could have entered the code to apply and asked if I could apply it in the store. That’s when Kris spun her register screen around and said “does it look like I have a button to just give you a coupon.” In total shock, I told her I’m not sure but seemed like something they would be able to do and also stated that her customer service was not the best towards me, in which Kris responded “well I can’t help that”..... I decided to just check out, paid 3 times what I should have for not great quality photos, and contact customer service/corporate myself.Customer service is a joke. This matter took almost a month of me calling multiple times for a district manager to finally call me back. I called customer service 4 times to follow up on the matter and was told they couldn’t do anything but send an email asking for someone to call me.... Each time the representative said the matter has to be resolved within 48 hours, clearly it went well beyond that. I was also told one day that someone had supposedly already called and then 2 days later the representative said she couldn’t see that anyone had ever called.Finally on Friday night about 8pm I got a call from Beth, their district manager who’s only solution was to apologize for Kris’ behavior. As she spoke, she sounded like she was eating dinner and chewing through the phone. When asked if I could be refunded what my coupon would have been, I was told she didn’t know what the coupon was for and I would have to find it online again ..... that was a month ago, in which I’m sure they aren’t running the same sales. I expressed to Beth that I feel as a district manager she should be the one to research the sales that were running at my time of service rather than having a customer search and solve a problem they created in the first place. Beth stated she doesn’t handle anything online and couldn’t do this ..... my question then is, why should the customer have to do this then? Beth then asked if I was being mean to try to get my way ...... in which I explained that I just feel since she is district manager, she should be able to solve these issues and have a solution rather than putting the ball in my court to solve. She was unwilling to solve the issue or work towards figuring out a solution. I explained to her that I will be returning the photos and she agreed to give me a full refund if I bring them and the receipt to the store. Mind you, this store is 4 hours from my home.Worse customer service and respect for a paying customer that I have ever seen. Do not shop here.

I have been a real fan of CVS until this past week. I was told that my prescription was filled using my insurance. It did not show on my insurance website and the co-pay was $99.99. I contact my insurance the next day. There was no record of it being filed with the insurance company. My co-pay should have been $5.00. This is the first and last time I have had problems with CVS pharmacy. Customer service was non-existent. I made a second trip to the stove to get this resolved and was handed the same piece of paper that I already had as "proof that it was not covered." My husband made a trip and could not resolve the issue either. Will not be back into the store!

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. On hold for a hour and never even was able to get a pharmacist to answer the phone, called 3 times and no one ever answered. I wish I could give negative stars. Definitely don’t have this issue with any pharmacy in Paducah. Seems like a lot of lazy people work at the pharmacy in Benton Main Street.

The location of this CVS would be an excellent site for a pharmacy! Need to bulldoze this building and put in a Walgreens or something similar. I’m not sure what kind of establishment this CVS is, it’s sure not like any pharmacy I’ve ever been to.1. Frequently, they are out of medications that I need filled. Not any rare medications. Very common stuff. 2. I’ve waited on hold for 15+ minutes to speak to someone in the pharmacy. After 15+ minutes I hang up and start over. I’ve actually NEVER been able to speak to someone by phone. 3. If you do not enter a DOB on the automated phone system, you are put on hold for a short time, then you get a recording that says your call can’t go thru. 4. Drive thru lines are way too long. 5. Twice I’ve ordered refills thru automated system, when I go to pick them up, they haven’t been filled and the process starts all over.This is the absolutely worst store I have ever been in. I’m starting to transfer all of my family’s prescriptions. This place is ridiculous.

don’t even attempt to call. you’ll be on the phone for hours listening to brain rotting elevator music.also, went in to check the status of my prescription (after not being able to speak with someone over the phone), and listened to the phone ring the entire time i was in there. not one person tried to pick it up.

The customer service is so bad, it begins to feel like the DMV. I got a lecture about picking up my prints. They were done but I didn’t check my email to make sure and what if they weren’t done. Sometimes the machine is broke and they aren’t ready. They were ready but it cost me a lecture to receive them. The pharmacy is worse. They hate customers and their jobs and boy do they let you know!

Worst customer service in Benton, Ky store. They wouldn’t let me refuse a script before I could get my other script. The ladies were super rude when I told them I was going to a different pharmacy they responded with a snarky “whatever” As I pulled away from drive thru window. Will not use them again!!!They even told a lady and her child that they don’t do walk-in COVID vaccines and that they were booked up yet no one was in the COVID vaccine area getting a vaccine.

I called the pharmacist told me to come and she'd have it rdy in 15min, i get there with my three kids and she says she's backed up and i should come tomorrow. Definately changing pharmacies.

Received antibiotics for my 16 month old child. Got it home and they didn’t flavor it. Called them back because kids don’t like crushed up aspirins in their milk and they told me that “after you leave it’s yours”. “ Good luck”

These people are a JOKE. I got something filled there once and it took weeks to get it in. After years, my wife is getting phone calls daily to refill it. Waited 20 min for someone at the Benton store to pick up the phone just to tell me they cant do anything about it. There are some good places around here that will be more then willing to help you in this same area. I suggest you go there instead.
