They are so amazing with my dog, they never put them in cages. They are very gentle with him. He is relaxed and looks great when I pick him up. So worth it. After one visit with apple head I would never go anywhere else.

I have been coming to Applehead for four years. I couldn’t not recommend them more! They do such great cuts on doodles and you can tell their time to make sure they are beautiful. Also, I have such piece of mind knowing they are cage free and pay 1 on 1 attention to the dogs. The new owner has groomed my pup multiple times and I’m confident in her to continue this great shop. My dog has had some anxiety in the past when going to the groomer, but not at Applehead! They take wonderful care of her and I’ve seen her stress lessen since we’ve been coming here. Definitely wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else to be groomed!

They are absolutely wonderful with my 16 yr old dog. He gets nails and teeth done but I watch them do amazing cuts on big fluffy dogs and the dogs are all quite happy. Kindp, caring people. Your dog is in very good and talented hands here!!!

Just got a new pup and wanted to find a great groomer for her. My husband found this place, saw the photos and thought it looked pretty awesome. Boy, was he right. They are so friendly, nice and they treat all of the animals so well! They lock the door so one at a time the animals can free roam (not together just in case) and gives them their own personal treatment. They have lots of options for treatment also. Just look at the adorable ornament, Christmas treats and poem they made! Highly highly recommended.

The employees are great with my dogs. My younger cavapoo is scared of strangers but they are super gentle with him. They also are very good at grooming the dogs!

Monica is the best!! I recently accepting this little cutie into my home (we’ve known each other for years), and he’s “spicy”, as Monica would say lolHe is 11yo, and was kicked out of his groomers a decade ago, that’s when I started grooming him myself, since then, only a few people have known how to safely get the job done.We go in to get his nails done often, and he’s always happy to see her (such a good sign!)

They always make my pretty boy look even prettier 🤩 They really do care about the well being of your dog. Gus has stress induced colitis and gets really anxious. They try their absolute best to work with him. Even if I do have to bring him back the next day to finish a haircut. I’d do anything to help my boy feel more comfortable and they do as well! Gus always looks so adorable and they NAIL the perfect doodle cut.

Excellent cut, friendly staff, and comparably quick to other groomers.My dog hates being groomed and has a lot of anxiety when she's in a grooming facility. We tried two groomers in the past before finally choosing to try it ourselves, but after three years of amateur cuts, we took her to Applehead City Pet and they did a tremendous job. She was still nervous, but the whole process was quick and easy, so her anxiety didn't linger. Monica was very kind and patient with both myself and my dog, and I really appreciated that level of service.10/10 would recommend!

We take our bulldog there and he is pampered and treated with such love. I know when I drop him off he is getting a total spoiled experience in the best of hands. They also use such high quality products then I can rest assured is best for his health as well. Cannot recommend them more!

Took our Poochon Penny to Applehead City Pet today for the first time & we are more than pleased!! They were so welcoming and kind from the second we walked through the door. They went above and beyond to me our needs. Our girl has never looked or smelled so good!!! I could tell our dog felt safe and happy with them. She even left with a little bandanna and Christmas cookies with a picture of her. I highly recommend them! We can’t wait to continue doing business with you guys thank you so much! 😊

My Aussie has very bad anxiety and can be extremely shy. I had trouble finding a good place that would work with her. We went to applehead city pet and happy to say we found our place! They did great on her trim, she looks/smells great! Wasn’t over crowded when I walked in.. watch I believe really helped with her anxiety and is cage free. Would definitely recommend!

After my wonderful experience with my dog Penny, this is the only groomer I will ever use! My prior groomer suggested giving my dog a sedative so that she wouldn't be so anxious......basically so it would be easier for them to groom her. ACP did a wonderful job and it was a great experience for Penny!

Our golden retriever has been to a number of groomers and none have been able to keep him calm long enough for a proper haircut. It was clear from drop off that the groomer loves dogs and knows how to keep them calm. They were quick and did an incredible job. Very happy with the service and we will be back.

They did a great job taming the large amount of fur on our Husky. Street parking only. They request you pick up your pet asap after grooming as they don't use crates. I found it a bit pricey ($175.00) ,for a brush and shampoo.

I was so nervous since my dog is very excitable and antsy and hasn't been groomed professionally before. He also had matted hair that he did NOT want me to touch or try to brush out and fix...so I didn't know how he would be at a groomer..The crew at Applehead helped put me at ease, my dog was well acclimated by the time I left, they let him sniff around and get comfortable. They were incredibly professional and patient with my dog. He looked a million times better and his coat smelled and looked amazing, it was so soft. I was so happy to hear how well it went for him given how antsy and nervous he can be with strangers. I will absolutely be going back to Applehead City Pet!

I could not recommend this place enough! We take our pup here every 2 months and he always comes home clean, cute & happy! What more could you want. They also took special care to make sure he was comfy & safe after he had to get groomed after a surgery - you can tell everyone that works here really cares about the dogs. If you're thinking about booking with them, do it!!

I absolutely love Applehead City pet groomers! They did such a great job on my Goldendoodle. He gets really scared at the groomers and they took their time and made him comfortable! His cut is perfect and his hair and skin are so soft! We will be back!

This is my first Google review ever - which should tell you how happy I am with my dog’s haircut from Applehead City Pet. The store’s environment was beautiful, clean, and well-lit. My dog’s appointment was only an hour and a half, and Tamara did an amazing job. My girl looks so clean and pretty - and came out with the cutest pink bandana! We’ll be going back!

My dogs loved these treats! And I love the high quality ingredients. Can't wait to take my dog there for grooming!I took my dog, Stewart to Applehead City Pet for grooming last month. My dog is a rescue and has major anxiety and trust issues. He is very sweet but we've had a lot of trouble taking him to get groomed because he will bite anytime feels scared, and even with a muzzle on him he's big enough to be scary. Desh was amazing with him. She took the time to help him be calm and build trust. She was not only able to trim his fur which was desperately needed in this heat, but also gave him a bath and trimmed his nails, which no other groomer has ever been able to do! To absolutely top off the visit she gave him more of those delicious dog treats.:) Later when I thanked her and we were talking about the experience, she mentioned to me that not only does she make all natural organic dog treats, but also uses natural organic essential oils and other high quality products and shampoos that most other groomers do not use. Applehead City Pets is such a rare gem in this community. I'm so grateful to have a place I trust to bring Stewart! Thanks so much!

Everyone knows that it’s important to have a groomer that knows the specific style and needs for each individual breed of dog. And Applehead has that down. But the reason I recommend Applehead to my family & friends is because of the quality of the products they use too. That’s what sets them apart. When you bring your dog to Applehead, when they come back not only are they the softest they’ve ever been in their life, but they smell amazing. And they smell amazing for weeks. It really makes a difference. You will not regret taking your dog here.

We have been to Applehead City Pet twice with our rescue schnauzer, Desi. He’s an older dog who has not had good groomer experiences. He’s still not a perfect pup when Desh and Tamara are grooming him, but their amazing gentle nature makes for a positive grooming experience for Desi. He leaves relaxed and is better behaved for us in the weeks that follow his grooming appointment. I can’t recommend them enough!!

This was our first grooming experience with our 11 month old goldendoodle. Everything about it was great. The groomers were both very friendly and explained everything well. He was difficult to manage but they obviously had a lot of patience and finished just about on schedule. Toast looks absolutely adorable, like a whole new dog. I absolutely LOVE this groomer, and so does my pup! My dog pulls me to Desh and Tamara’s door as soon as I park the car; he absolutely loves his spa days with them. They both take such good care of my wild puppy, grooming him exactly how I like. He leaves feeling so soft and smelling so good and even has a little bandana! I appreciate that they use all natural products on him to keep him safe, and give him natural treats during grooming. He has been coming to this groomer his entire 3 years of life! It’s obvious they love the animals they groom. I’m also completely obsessed with their products; the 2 in 1 lavender wash and the no bath lavender spray are my faves and crucial to keeping my dog fresh and clean. I couldn’t be happier or recommend this company enough!

Monica did a fantastic job grooming my dog. He was very old and very scared, and when I came to pick him up he was relaxed and comfortable sitting in her lap. Not to mention he looked so cute!! Cannot recommend her highly enough! ❤️
