It was like a mini vacation by the side of a country road! You can buy farm stand produce, specialty jams, sorghum molasses, chery cider, cbd oils, and much more!A little Cafe is included in the experience. We ordered the sandwich of the day, a delicious BLT, and ice cream! They also sold garden plants!

Great family owned business that cares about what they’re doing! High quality CBD products! Michael Yates is very knowledgeable and more than will to guide you on what would work best for you!

Great orchard market for picking up local produce since 1930. Sold recently to new folks who have planted hemp and are processing cbd oil products, but produce will continue. Find a variety of ciders, cobbler, pickles, jams, ice cream, produce. Fascinate at the Live! indoor glass display of bees making honey then take home a jar. Flowers for your yard in season. Great local asset.

Excellent homemade icecream in a variety of flavors. There is a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. Along with their medicinal CBD products. My main reason for visiting was the ice cream and play area (straw bales for climbing) set up for the kids.

We came out to get pumpkins and were saddened to learn Carlos Pyles had passed away. While there was no ride to the pumpkin patch, we had a ball choosing beautiful pumpkins for just $5. His widow is selling to family and we look forward to coming back.

I drove a little over an hour to get peaches. My son and I got peaches that are delicious, corn is excellent and watermelon is best I've had this year. Oh homemade ice cream is delicious too! I'll definitely be back!

We always stop here, on the way home, from Madison Indiana. Chautauqua Art Show. Heading to Louisville. Even though we buy fruits and vegetables, our main goal is the ice cream. It's the best! This time I got the blueberry. A big one. I'm not holding back. Yum! Lots of blueberries mixed in to the vanilla. 7 of us. Eating big helpings of delicious ice cream. BTW.....they make it themselves!!

Great place . They have a glass bee hive, you can watch bees make honey and then you can buy it . Lots of fresh produce, ice cream shop, which by the way has HotDogs Hamburgers etc. They are having a festival this weekend June 25th. Bounce houses, face painting, petting zoo, 3 different bands, blue grass country and classic rock. Mechanical bull riding and more . Sounds fun!

Don't buy produce here. It's overpriced, they have no knowledge of the product. Bought some peaches, they didn't seem ripe, the clerk said to let them set out for a couple of days, which was what I thought and wanted. Two days later, they were mealy, half-rotten and still weren't ripe. Eight ears of corn barely fed one person once it was cooked. Other items for sale have stickers and are identical to what you can find at Walmart or Kroger, except here they're 3x the price. Staff have no knowledge of the products. Just close it down and stop playing farmer, why don't you?

This little country store is a must and their homemade ice cream is to die for. Very friendly staff, they sell cbd, honey, homemade jellies jams pickles, everything is good. I keep going back and I suggest this place as a must stop, even just to look around.

This local "Pharm" is wonderful. Amazing outdoor plants and a wide variety of local products including honey. The farm has been around over a century and parts of the oringal family still active in the buisness. A huge plus is the ice creamery attached, and is homemade and most delicious. If you take the scenic route along HWY 42 instead of opting for the busy 71 you will see this great piece of local history and get some treats as well.

On 10/14 we drove from Louisville to get some pumpkins & apples. When we got there a sign on the door said they would return at 1:00. We were there at 2:00 & waited 15 minutes, no one showed up. Sign also said the grocery & ice cream shop were closed for season. They still had some pumpkins & a few mums for sale. Since we drive out there every year, this was very disappointing. On the bright side, we still enjoyed the ride & we even found a new place to patronize.

Best place to buy fresh peaches and apples in season. Pumpkins, mums, and gourds in the fall near Halloween and Thankgiving. Be sure to try their hand dipped ice cream cones. We have been regular customers here for nearly 30 years and enjoy coming every time.

I used to love going here with my kiddos, I still recognize some of the workers from when I was a kid too. They recently got rid of the pumpkin patch, hay rides, hay maze, tricycle races, and fun activities for the fall season. Now it's just a shop that sells pumpkins on the porch, very disappointing, but understandable as it's hard to keep small family businesses and farms running. However I suggest going somewhere else if you want to actually pick your pumpkins in the fall season.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The store was clean and well laid out. Some of the produce looked fresh but some was old and damaged. The prices were somewhat high.

I really love all the fresh vegs, fruits and jams...the only down fall was the homemade ice cream...that needs a little work. Leave out the corn syrup and use pure cane sugar and put in fresh fruit. Sorry...but was not impressed...

We tried to shop there today, and the woman there treated us like trash because we don't wear masks. A shouting match ensued which was mainly on the part of the person there. We were told that we can walk in but couldn't buy anything. I have been all over Indiana and Kentucky and never been treated like this. I strongly recommend not shopping there.

This seasonal market has amazing locally grown produce (including the best peaches you will EVER have), prepared foods such as local jams and jellies, honey, and maple syrup, and a little ice cream shop with locally made ice cream, made with fruit they grow. Stop by - you won't be sorry.

REOPENED July 14, 2019The market is now open year around. They closed for the season in December, 2018 and reopened under new management July 14 2019.The new management has shifted emphasis from farm produce to CBD products, however they still offer delicious handmade ice cream and a fair selection of fresh produce in season.( Originally posted December, 2018, revised and updated July 26, 2019).The farm and market was owned and operated in this location by several generations of the Bray family from 1910 until late 2018. They sold to both retail and wholesale customers from this location for more than a century.Jamae Bray Pyles and her husband, Carlos operated the farm, orchards and Roadside Market for many years until the sudden passing of Carlos in December, 2016. Jamae is assisting new management with the market and still producing the same delicious handmade ice cream.I stopped in on July 29, 2019 with friends and enjoyed some mint chocolate chip ice cream. The ice cream is just as Carlos and Jamae always made it.The selection of fresh fruits and vegetables is not as extensive as it once was, but acceptable considering that this business recently reopened under new management. Their produce is no longer grown by the Bray farms, however most items are locally sourced and of good quality. For many years the seasonal closing varied, usually just before Christmas. They traditionally reopened in late April or early May, depending upon when local strawberries and early seasonal crops ripened. In 2019 opening was delayed until mid July due to transfer of management and the market will now remain open all year. The Bray family once grew peaches, other fruits, vegetables, herbs, perennials, annual flowers, more than twenty different varieties of apples, hardy mum's and more. The market also sold some locally grown produce supplied by other nearby farms.Available items varied throughout the growing season. Many varieties of apples were available from an on-site refrigerated warehouse through December. The market will continue to offer premium handmade ice cream in many flavors on site. Some flavors are seasonal and others rotate from time to time. Unusual offerings have included dandelion and jalapeno peach.A variety of ice cream delicacies are available in addition to cones, floats, sundaes and carry-out packages. Ice cream has traditionally been available only in the warm season. This place is unique and customers come from many miles away. My family have been loyal satisfied customers for nearly fifty years and I look forward to the tradition continuing under new leadership. If you find this review helpful please mark the "thumbs up," icon.

Outstanding homemade ice cream and a cute simple inexpensive lunch (the Chef’s salad is awesome), but the vegetables are 40% higher than everywhere else. Go for lunch - skip the farm market.
