Very slow and occasionally tries pushing meds onto another day causing potential health problems. You have to complain and say I need my heart med today not in 3 days bc I'll die before they will say we will get it ready today.

Walgreens hours 😡A medication of which I was informed would be ready by 3pm 2 days ago. Today was still not ready according to my online account. So I called and waited on hold for 2 hours and then was hung up on. Oh heck no, I called back and on hold for 15 minutes as there are "2 callers ahead of you". I took my phone with me while still on hold and drove to Walgreens. Arrive and find a notice they close at 6 effective today due to "short staffing"Why would I wait on hold for 2 hours?.... because waiting on hold with this pharmacy for 1 1/2 hrs or more is their norm. Their recording did not indicate they now close at 6. There is no posting online they close at 6.Short staffing? It's been that way for years now. They either have a serious management problem or don't pay their staff enough or both. Surrounding communities with Walgreens have the same staffing issues but are more efficient.Why is it important to post this negativity? I have an actively dying family member. I lost 3 hours of valuable time with her. Time which can never be recouped.Walgreens corporate is to blame here. They have not stepped up to the plate to help the Bardstown store out.

Was picking up medicine for someone and was given the wrong medicine that she doesn't even take anymore!They would not refund my money. People have so many problems with this pharmacy. Would not recommend.

They wait until you show up to pick up your prescription to fill it and then tell you they can’t get it ready in time. I guess 4 days is not a long enough wait for a common medication. You stand in line for 30 minutes for staff to be annoyed that you want to pick up your meds in a reasonable amount of time. The girls in the front have attitude with clients and understaffing is always their excuse. If they spent less time complaining they’d probably have more scripts ready.

Not enough staff for drive thru. Not enough staff to be same day on prescriptions. Takes 45-55 minutes over phone to reach a person. Line inside is long. Workers are nice! the management seems to be not efficient. Go to Crume.

I was patiently waiting in the drive thru for over an hour and when it finally became my turn they pull the shade down and close the drive thru do to not enough workers. Tells me to come inside. Ok I’ll come inside and this line backed way up another half hour and I finally get to talk to someone. We can’t seem to find your prescription you need to have your doctor call it in again. I hate this place.

Drive thru is horrible. Sitting here for 20 minutes and them working on one vehicle. There are still 3 in front of me. I thought the purpose of a drive thru was convenience. If the prescription isn't ready, send them on the way? Apparently Walgreens doesn't do it that way.

This is the WORST Walgreens ever you can't get your prescriptions on time you can't get anyone to answer the phone going to Kroger from now on no wonder the Attorney General is looking in to them! Update also they never have Insulin in stock they run completely out and let people die. THEY DON'T CARE

Only give the one star because you have to. I know people are short handed but why have meds called in if you have to wait in line e just to get tonthe front so they can tell you they'll start filling them

My Dr sent over prescriptions a week and a half ago. When I went that day to pick them up, I was told one was out of stock and they would have it the very next day. Literally a week and a half later and they finally got the last prescription. Get to the store to see yet again the pharmacy drive thru is closed. Get inside the store and the line for the pharmacy was back to the ice cream. The pharmacy was completely closed a couple of weeks ago on the weekend. People actually need their prescriptions. I understand people get sick and short staffed, but this is unacceptable. I do want to say kudos to the ladies in the windows today. They were doing the best they could and were friendly and efficient.

On two phones for over 3 hours, stood in store for a second with no help and zero conversation, rude management , my call my transferred and declined . And currently I’m in so much pain my arm could fall off.

The only reason they get it to is because I know that the issue is not entirely their fault. Having said that the service they provided through their covid drive through line was atrocious. I showed up at 2:15 for a 2:30 appointment to get my nose swabs and it is now 4:47 and I'm leaving Walgreens after getting test.The event was out of their control was that a car in the line died and will not start. Were they lacked was their ability on doing nothing. I sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes on hold before I found out what the problem was. Then I got out and I pushed the person into a parking spot oh, nobody in the store bother getting out to help her they just let the line back up.

Customer service at this location is very poor. I do not shop there due to that fact. When I have been in there, the ONLY one who has ever been polite is the elderly woman in cosmetics. I had to go in today to pick up pics my husband ordered. wasn't greeted with a hello....I was asked "you here for pictures?" waited..then asked "what is your name?" waited ....was handed my envelope and told "you can go upfront." I felt as if I was an inconvenience to her for me being there. No...Thank you....or have a nice day...nothing....even from the beginning I was polite and told her Thank you. The young man at the register was polite and told me to have a good evening. It isn't that hard...no matter if it is or has been a bad day...to say...Hello, may I help you? And to at least say Thank you...or have a good day. I am a customer. i shouldn't feel like an inconvenience where I spent my money.

Awesome if you know the secret and ask them to set up their technologies. First thing set up text messaging, get the android or iPhone app, ask for 90 days, auto fill your maintenance meds, Express pay at check out and even Express 1 day delivery now. Blue collar town, so avoid 4-6 pm (your fault if you ignore this advice, not theirs!). If you don't use the technology and go during busy times, yeah you might be disappointed. For example, If insurance changes, just snap a picture of insurance card with the app so you don't block the drive thru for 5 minutes to get everything repriced. And if you do use the technology, your meds are automatically ready, you get a text the second it is ready, your app tells you price and what is ready, and you can just swing by the drive thru and with Express pay, Express checkout its paid for already. If you don't feel like going or it looks too busy, just click Express Delivery and have it delivered to your home tomorrow. Also, don't go straight to the pharmacy from the doctors office! (50 other patients are trying to do the same thing and it isn't an instant message, it lags about 15 minutes behind and it's just a mathematical impossibilty 4 to 6pm to get that many ready at once). Instead, the secret is to call ahead that you're waiting (leave voicemail), wait until you get the text and then go. If you really have to wait, leave a voicemail and tell them you're waiting. My total times: 10 seconds to scan a bottle for a refill, 2 minutes at most to pick up when I avoid busiest times. Their open until 10pm, so there's lots of options. Those that have had different experiences simply haven't been utilizing the technologies available to totally avoid the inevitable, frustrating bottlenecks that every pharmacy is going through due to PBM reimbursement cuts. BTW, let them know when you had a great experience by filling out receipt surveys. Otherwise, all they ever see is the bad reviews.

Terrible! Absolutely hate they are one of the very few pharmacies in town!Never have enough stock of a recurring medication I need, and takes them between 3 and 5 days to get it. They close the drive thru randomly and no notice. Even tried calling Aaron West, regional director to try and get resolution and left numerous voice mails to contact him, and apparently he refuses to call back.Thanks for nothing Aaron West, and thanks Walgreens for being pretty worthless!

Well They have guards at door saying no one can come in because of hippa ok that’s fine but don’t charge my insurance for my medicine if I’m not able to pick up now I either got to wait 7 days for refund to insurance or pay 400 to get it myself or wait till they open it’s rediculous

I'm assuming this place is understaffed because every time I have a prescription sent in its never ready. "It'll be ready in 15 minutes; just swing around." When you do there're 6 cars that were waiting in line behind you. I've never had problems like this with medica.

I called this morning to fill a prescription that needed to be transferred. Was told by pharmacy tech that they could not look up any phone numbers of any pharmacy (even local) to transfer a prescription. This was also confirmed by Pharmacist. They now lost all my business.

They are slow and rarely on time. I always go through after I know my script has been sent in from the doctor office and they give me a time that it will be ready and so I go run errands and come back 15min later than they even said and it's STILL not ready. They are so frustrating. I think I'll start and use Kroger going forward.

Everytime in the store, always a bad experience. Recently made an appt. for flu vaccine online, went to walgreens at the appt time, no vaccine, ran out yesterday and we don't take appt online then the clerk asked the pharmacist, yes we do and suspose to check 3 x a day. This is my last visit as a bardstown walgreens customer. I tried many times to ignore the mistakes about 95 percent, thinking okay its my mistake, not any more. My business will stay with the grocer across the highway.Used to visit walgreens Mt. Washington ( excellent service) before Bardstown opened. If I need to go to Walgreens I will drive the extra 4 miles.

What a HORRIBLE pharmacy!! State it will be 15 minutes. I stated okay I will wait. 45 minutes later I ask, how much longer are we looking at? Answer, we have not even typed it in! Let's just say I was a little frustrated, but things happen. It's now been almost 2 hours of me sitting here and still no medication!! I will NEVER use Walgreens again!!!

Very very rude! Went to the pharmacy to get flu shots for my children. The lady said as she was doing this strange pointing thing at my children, we don't do those children. I just walked out. Everytime I go in that place there seems to be an issue. Won't go again!

I don't mind shopping here but I've learned to not expect fast friendly service every time. You have to greet the employees and ask THEM for help when you need it. So many times I've been passed off to someone else in the photo area. The photo area seems to be "stressed" on a regular basis...The pricing is reasonable just have to be patient for checking out...

Somehow drive thru has been broken for 5 days. And now their excuse for being slow on prescriptions is that the drive thru is broken. Just poorly managed altogether, don't waste your time.
