The meat at Kroger usually can’t be beat as far as quality. Beef on sale this week as well. Only complaint is the grocery service has taken up the entire area you need to get to the clinic/pharmacy/bathrooms. And the employees working it today around 5PM just stood in front of us as we tried to get around them. Didn’t so much as acknowledge anyone(not just us) needed to get past. I’m hoping them taking up that walk area isn’t a disaster waiting to happen with so much congestion. Still five stars as I hope this is just a kink in an idea someone thought might’ve worked. Hope their vision was very different than the pile up of ppl trying to get to their meds, etc. Goid luck talk! ✌🏻

Unfortunately I will have to start shopping in Louisville, because thus store is just full of incompetent employees. Every time I shop here, there's always an issue. The deli workers could care less about people waiting for meat and cheese sliced and dont ever listen when asked to cut meat thin. I have to babysit the pharmacy when I'm trying to get a prescription filled, because otherwise they just won't fill it. When I call and ask about my script, I'm always told 30 minutes, but somehow, I always wait for almost 2 hours in the store. The employees at the self checkouts are always rude or stand way too close. It's sad that we can't get decent service in this town, but then again, they probably don't even pay their employees a livable wage. This store needs saving

This place has the best fresh fruit in town. And to top it off, I can pick up all my prescriptions while I get groceries. The baggers when I check out are so fast and efficient at what they do. Very impressed at this location.

Huge selection with many sale items. Older store but still nice and manageable. Cashier 'Lillie' was friendly, efficient, and kind. The separate liquor area was ok but selections were limited.

Worst Kroger experience between pickup/and management So this week on Jan 18th… I originally had a pickup order scheduled …so when I got there we needed a few extra things and the place was packed due to winter storm warnings out …so I decided to be nice and not take up a pick up spot so someone who didn’t have to go in could park and pickup ..their app was messing up so I went to customer service explained app is messing up but I’m here for a pickup order but I had to grab some more things including a prescription so I would be glad to just pick up and save them the trouble of brining it out….the gentleman at counter asked me which spot I was on explained to him that I didn’t park in pickup because I had to grab a few extra things. He finally walked to the back to let them know I was there and for them to pull my order …he then comes back to counter and asked me what spot I was parked in I explained I’m not parked in pickup I was standing in front of him just needed them to bring the order up . Went back and forth a minute and finally just went and took up a pickup spot and told them to put it in the car. (it was like he was not understanding what I was explained ) after all this the lines are backed up worse than I’ve ever seen only had 2 cashiers open stood in line for 40 mins approx …got up to front of line and the cashier super sweet gentleman you could see he wasn’t doing well , he completely just fell over right there on the spot, thankfully another employee grabbed him and helped him lay down gently because that would’ve been a bad fall if not …. But the most frustrating part about this is the manager heavier set gentleman middle aged was walking around and was like what’s going on everyone’s like I think he had a seizure …this manager walks slow as a turtle I mean frustratingly slow and doesn’t even come check on him, thankfully 911 was already on the line to come help this guy out , (People don’t understand a couple seconds can save someone’s life )then he proceeds to open another line a few lanes down …as a customer I was completely appalled that this guy firstly is a manager and didn’t even check on his employee and walked as slow as he possibly could I wanted to jumpOver the counter and ask him WTH is wrong with you?!!! Complete lack of empathy and not being there for your employees that is your job title sir and you should be ashamed of your behaviors and replaced as a manager . I cannot believe they allow you to run a shift . And as far as the other employee who grabbed him and assisted him down so he didn’t bust his head open thank you and I’m sure he thanks you as well 🙏🏻 and once again shame on your manager !! I absolutely was in shock at his behavior I’ve never seen anything like it .

Kroger, has the fresh veggies, and meat and fish, I know they will be great! Prices are high all over, but my kroger coupons always help! I really like shopping at Krogers, as well as ordering and pick up! One thing more, I don't know how they get the nicest people to work at Krogers! Always helpful and smiling!Judy Ragsdale

Always charging wrong, it happens every time. Was charged $30 instead of $6 same with digital deals.Today there was a whole line of people at customer service with the same complaints

This review is for Lana in the floral dept. She is amazing at what she does. I came in with questions about flowers for an event. She took her time and explained everything that I needed to know from the longevity of each flower to the cost efficiency of each flower.....and then she followed up with a call. Never any registers open, prices too high, no carts. The people that work there look like they hate life. The lady in the deli is terrible. No, nothing good to say about this place. Only other option is Walmart unfortunately.

Went in this morning and when it was time to check (10:30) one lane was open and only 4 self check out. Line was all the way back to Starbucks. Kroger you're going to have to do better! Walmart will be getting my business today.

Good supermarket. Always seems to be stocked but if you need help good luck trying to find someone to help you. My tip would be to have the Kroger app handy: You can scan a particular item for price checks, sales, clip the coupons if available adding them to your savings card, as well as checking if something is in stock and where it is in the store such as the aisle number.

I shopped on Sunday afternoon. There were 2 registers open and 1 set of u-scans. There were about 7people in line at each of the regular registers. Carts were pulled high. The u-scans were backed up 10 deep. This is not just on Sundays. I have been there at lunchtime thru the week and after work. Same lines. If Kroger does not care more than this, maybe they don't need my business.

Today was the last time I'll be shopping at Kroger for at least awhile. One of their employees was very rude to me and was yelling at me. When I spoke to the assistant manager she was dismissive and unhelpful. Your "shopper" employees are driving away the real customers with their inconsiderate and downright mean attitudes.

Saturday and only two lanes had a live person. They move things around the store so you have to seek and find when you shop. We could really use some compitition for Krogers . How many people remember how great the Winn Dixie store was? I miss them

If you are disabled or use a cane, please watch the employees with carts as they will unsafely run their carts right into you. This store has fat young boys doing the shopping and they don't care if they run over you.

I am so disgusted that Kroger in Bardstown will be carrying the Bill Gates developed and approved Apeel sticker on avocados, limes, and asparagus. As a consumer, I do not want fake and unknown ingredients put on my food for myself or my family.

Manager didn't know how to make strong decision for customer satisfaction.Other thing they didn't have return policy posted on self scan area which looks like their carelessness and customer will never get happy.I purchased item which is already used by someone else that i noticed when i get to parking lot and went back to exchange it they are showing me the return policy only at the customer service area. Also in this digital even they cannot have pop up in the screen with return policy which seems like they are laid back. I am fully dissatisfied with store manager and customer service person out there at the store number 408.

Because my mom can't eat gluten and also has a few other food allergies, finding things she can eat tends to be a challenge. This kroger is where we shop most often as they seem to do the best at having a variety of allergy friendly foods.

The store seems to be doing better. Unfortunately the deli had posted a sign“Closed by 3pm”. My only thought was I hope it’s closed to clean it looked terrible. Doesn’t take much to wipe down an area and clean the showcase windows.

Generally not a bad store but many items always out of stock. As popular as these at home covid tests are if you aren't going to order an extra supply, how about putting a sign on your front door saying you're out of stock so people aren't standing in line for 20 minutes waiting to find that bit of useful information out from the pharmacy department. It's the wasted time that's so annoying.
