Stopped in to this absolute gem because I needed scripts while I was traveling. They were so very accomidating, fast and friendly! That is why I ALWAYS go to the independent pharmacies. There is a soda fountain as well as food available to dine in. The gift shop had tons of cute gift ideas! These people are really great, be sure to give them your business!!

This place is just fun. Friendly! Had a fantastic conversation with the manager there. Shared some local insider tips on where to eat and drink. Came back the next day for snacks.

I recently was visiting from out of town. Pros were everyone was very nice. Cons I ate at your lunch counter and I have to say it was quite dirty. Cabinet doors were dirty, the counter that was being used to make meals was dirty. A chopping board had blood on it and sliced cheese was on the same board. This is a health hazard. Really wish it could be cleaned better

Have always loved this drug store. Visited today for the first time in about 6 month. Things have changed and not for the good. Have always had a nice variety of items to shop for. Not so today. Hope the next time I visit. Low inventory and nothing interesting

Old school drugstore counter. Shakes. Egg creams. Burgers on a seasoned grill. Folks are very sweet and welcoming. Like being transported back in time. If you come to Bardstown, you really need to stop here!!! Ashley and Danni were wonderful!!!!!!

ice cream tasted like ice cream but the strawberry mixture had grey strawberries in it, the poor girls working the counter only get minimum wage and it’s very crowded with clutter definitely not going back.

I LOVE this place for lunch. There chicken salad sandwich is perfect. The atmosphere is neat, you can sit at the bar or a booth and watch people pass by out the large windows. Something about a nice, old time drug store in a small town with good food and ice cream makes the world seem like a nicer place, even if it's just for lunch.

Love it! Nostalgic soda fountain. So good for lunch. Diner standbys like really good chicken salad, blt, flavored cokes, malts. Plus great gift shop with lots of extra special choices. Renowned high quality candy and fudge! Plus it is a pharmacy too! But what fun to sit at the soda fountain on an old tyme stool or booth. My fave is a seat looking straight out the large storefront window, at the lovely Bardstown Square and watching passersby while you chat with a lunch date. Thank goodness some things never change! O:-) Oh and staff is totally gracious!

Talk about service! I have never had a pharmacy call me to tell me that my prescription wouldn't be filled until the next day because the shipment was delayed just to save me a wasted trip. Thanks for going above and beyond.

Didn't try the food but best time I definitely would, we got the specialty shakes and they were so good 🙌🙌🙌 I got the coffee + pb + nutter butter and it was spot on! Probably one of our favorite stops in Bardstown

Went to Hurst after lunch at a local eatery on Saturday. Very friendly employees! Got a couple of things and also had to try the soda fountain. STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE......We will definitely be back!!!

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich for lunch to go. Later,I was informed by a friend, that it really wasn't made with chicken it was made with turkey.I wonder if that's true? And why would they do that?

Cute soda shop/gift store in downtown, right across from the courthouse. Employees at the soda counter were super nice. Good selection of gift items at reasonable prices also.

A nice place to stop in to look and shop for souvenirs when walking about. U of k items, Knick knacks, wind chimes and more. And a pharmacy in the back. Snack bar inside too.
