I'm from out of town , yesterday was my first time ever having an encounter with a racist KAREN HERE IN DG AT BARDSTOWN, KY ! So if you're of COLOR PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & go here !! When I ENTERED THE STORE, NOBODY SPOKE, the PEOPLE ON THE CLOCK WAS NOT AT ANY REGISTER NOR WAS THEY DOING ANY WORK! All they did was stand around & talk !!!!! Remind you i went & got a few things to eat for me & my kids , as I'm gathering my last few items i went to checkout !! Nobody was STANDING AT THE FRONT REGISTER SO I DID SELF CHECKOUT , my daughter had ALREADY RUNG UP 2 items , she's 8 ! She just had the items sitting on the counter, i told her to " put them in the bag " ! I rung the rest of my items up & begin to leave , the Karen approached me & said " she didn't think all my items rung up. I told her " had you being doing your job , you would've known i checked everything out correctly ! I instantly asked for a refund & she only said " the light flashed when an item was not checked out . I said how would you know if you not doing your job ? So after she gave me a refund she just had the STUPIDEST LOOK ON HER FACE & gone say " I'm just doing my job , sorry . As i was leaving a white gentleman went to checkout as well & do you think she stopped him ? No ! I will never visit BRADSTOWN DG EVER AGAIN ! I was humiliated & racially profiled ! Dollar General do better with hiring these weird ssa ppl ! Definitely will be contacting CORPORATE SOON !!

Live the Dollar General store to just run in and get a few things. Usually have what I need and always neat. Not a huge store but a quick in and out. Which is nice. Prices usually lower also. Can't beat it. Great place to get cars for any occasion. Prices more than half of what you pay other places. Also wrapping paper. Bags or bows. Just saying. Great Quality also.

Today was the first time I ever enjoyed stopping at this Dollar General. I frequent the store because of location but not because of the cleanliness, great prices, merchandise or customer service. Usually store is over picked, aisle bare or minimal, stock is on racks in the middle of the aisle and just overall a gloomy and dreary feeling.However, today was different. I walked into this great display table that was cohesive in design, 1/2 off + organized and def caught my eye. So much so that I went back twice.I would like to recogonize Tamara for her iniative, marketing ability, sales and overall friendliness. She just upsold your store 150%. Tracy was very friendly as well. The ladies worked well together.

Cashier was too busy fussing about her schedule to ring up 2 items for me. I had to bag them myself, remind her to finish the sale (she walked away to talk with another off the clock employee that had her child, half dressed with no shoes, behind the counter), and I pulled my own receipt because she was apparently done with me bothering her with a purchase. Like most DGs, it's cramped, revolving door of overworked and underpaid employees who never have time to clean. Also hard for me to go to a place that requires facemasks but won't enforce it. For now I'll go somewhere I know I can shop safely.

I was in town visiting. You can always count on dollar general to have fast and friendly cashiers. The store was clean and well laid out. All covid safety precautions were in place.

So messy and dirty!!! My son was gping to buy some hot wheels cars anf the special was buy one and get one free and when we went to the register i ask about it to make sure and the guy went and cgeck and the offer was old really old so i told them that it wasn't our fault so i didn't buy them so i walk out of the store and my oldest son was still in the store and he said that the women in the register was making fun of me so i went back in the store and told her that they need to clean the store and check all the invention often so they can know what offers are for today and whats not before she can evwn make fin of people 😠😠😠

Staff was very friendly. The only thing I saw at the time was that the selves needed stocked so thing where all over the store. But they where more than willing to go beyond my expectations to find what I needed.

Rudest employees on earth. The older stooped over woman put her hand in my face. You do not do that to customers. I will never be back to this store ever again. Whoever hires people at this store needs a wake up call.

I will never shop there again. cashier couldn't add money to my phone account, where I have did the same thing monthly for 2 years, but couldn't tell me why . said that I needed to go to another store.

I love this Dollar General store. It is easily the cleanest DG in Nelson County and has the most friendly staff of almost any small retail store I've been in before.

Terrible service. Was asked to put a mask on when more than three other individuals in the store didn’t have masks on either. I was the only one asked to put one on and was forced to put my shirt over my face. Probably won’t shop at this store anymore.
