traveling from California to Michigan, Jake and I are taking the time to visit many of YouTuber…Goodall’s Country Kitchen favorite places I’m here at B&N Food Market for some incredible brisket, pinto beans cornbread and the awesome “Newt Burger”…they grind their hamburger daily. Excellent service and family-friendly atmosphere! The food is delicious as always. Best banana ice cream around. Their Thursday special of roast beef is AMAZING! The sides are absolutely delicious. They do a fantastic job keeping the community up to date on their Facebook page with specials and other announcements. If you haven't been...you're missing out!

The whole experience has a great hometown feel. Service was great and they came right up to me to take my order which was nice. I got the burger and onion rings. Both were fantastic. Definitely the best burger in Shelby County. Would recommend stopping by if ever in the area

I went for the roller mill, I'll be back for the lunch! I had a great lunch in this super busy establishment. They had a huge team of workers and great food was coming out of the kitchen. This place is worth a trip as a destination on its own. I had roast beef, potatoes and green beans and a piece of fruit for dessert. Wonderful to get a healthy meal combined with home cooking.

9/16/2023 A Biker friend of ours suggested checking out B & N's. Really Loved this spot: the current price of a small soft serve ice cream ( choices on our visit were banana & chocolate) was under $2 I think. Their name sake 'Newt' Burger was extremely fresh. I bet it was locally sourced due to the local beef cattle farms near by¿ All I know is my husband's stomach often can't handle ground beef, BUT The Newt Burger's taste & or quality was so good (& NOT GREASY) that he was actually impressed & pleased that he was (for once) able to enjoy a hamburger 🍔. Our pup also greatly appreciated the nice concrete outdoor picnic table Pavilion !

Bought lunch as well as brisket and country ham for Christmas and it was all fantastic! Would definitely recommend to all! It was worth every second of the 45 minute drive. We will be going back as much as possible. The owners, Ashley and Buckshot, are so sweet and accommodating even with a large crowd of people who were also picking up orders for Christmas. Desserts are amazing too@

We had roast beef and mashed potatoes. So good I ended up buying a plate to take home for lunch today. My niece had the cheeseburger and enjoyed it. They ended up having brownies and cake for dessert. I will be back next Wednesday for ribs. Great food and service. Thanks.

Had lunch today with my Beautiful Fiancé and it was so delicious! We had a couple of their daily specials. I had a taco salad that was probably more authentic than most Mex restaurants. Served with Pico, seasoned beans, with lots of fresh ground beef. She had the Newt Burger or Cheeseburger which probably started out at close to if not a half pounder. Cooked done but not dried out. Took desert home chocolate brownies and they well fresh made, so good. Could not have been happier, looking forward to going back and try more of their food. Reviews say their BBQ, fish, and brisket are excellent also.

The food is incredible! I have never had onion rings as good as the ones at B&N! The prices are a bit high, but being a little hometown store it is worth the price to support a local business especially when their costs have gone up to make the food. They are very friendly and it is just very adorable!!

A great on-stop shop in our rural area. Buckshot has done a great job upgrading the place & always has the best food. The brisket is pricey, but worth every penny. Homemade desserts & salads plus everything I expect in a convenience store. Best of all, they have a pump for no-alcohol gas which my old chainsaws & such appreciate.

Hole in the wall place set inside a country store. But they make killer brisket, superb fish sandwiches, and other tasty items which locals flock to enjoy from all over Shelby County and beyond! Sort of hard to believe the success they've achieved given their rural location. I think a food network show may visit them soon!

I think the Newt burger is my favorite hamburger of all. The service is excellent and you always feel welcome.
