Extremely overpriced and wait time on food is ridiculous, took over 30 minutes for burger and fries, and was only a handful of people there, not like they was preparing a 5 course meal.Waitstaff is mostly local kids and don't know what they're doing. If you're going for drinks only, then not bad, but I won't be wasting my money again.Corner Cafe (Youngbloods) has far better food and service IMO

This is an awesome pub. The exterior is beautiful and the inside is also nice. They have a dining area, a bar, and a room with darts and pool table. There was one gentleman working so he was stretched but did a great job accommodating everyone. They have a large drink menu. Their food menu is small but it was delicious. They have the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Their Bloody Mary’s were great! We had a good experience here and will be sure to visit again.

I stopped by for dinner and was very disappointed. I’ll start with the positives. We were acknowledged quickly and didn’t wait long for the server to arrive. She was very sweet but inexperienced. There were no clean glasses for our beer. I waited forever for the food, a very cheap frozen pre-made pattie. The pickle was translucent, and the burger didn’t come with the lettuce, tomato, etc.; the blue cheese was a smear of something, and I didn’t eat it. I will not return, which is a shame because Augusta is such a quaint little town that I’ve visited repeatedly since 2006.

We've been to Augusta many times but never had the opportunity to dine at the Augusta Pub, glad we did very friendly staff and fed 3 of us for around $30. The chicken sandwich was delicious and the deluxe cheeseburger was typical of bar food burgers, not spectacular but still pretty good. Fries were very tasty. Nice atmosphere.

My first time in Augusta was yesterday, I recommend stopping here. The prices here are fair and the burger was one of the better that I've had in a while. Juicy and tasted fresh. The onion rings were crispy and cooked to perfection. Beer on tap!

Nothing special. Extremely limited vegetarian choices.The side salad served was nothing more than common iceberg lettuce, a couple of cucumber slivers, and a few cherry tomatoes.I was not happy to find brown sugar sprinkled over the sweet potato fries. The menu did not alert me to this.The three cheese grilled cheese sandwich was okay, but $10.99 it kinda pricey.Vegetarian options: Salad, and grilled cheese sandwiches.Don't bother.

Bartenders don't pour a true double but charge you for it & the cook can't make a steak at medium. When you send it back, they say sorry we can't take it back & we don't have any more steaks. You can only order a steak after 5. I ordered mine at 5:05 didn't get it until 6:10 & then they said we will give you a discount. We don't have any more steaks to remake it.Appetizers came out with the food & it was not cooked to order. If I am ordering a $20 steak cooked medium, I expect to see some pink. Not char! I'm over this place. Used to be great. I miss how it used to be!

Took awhile to be acknowledged when waiting for a seat. You can definitely tell this is a regulars kinda place. Lots of interesting things to look at around the walls. The service took awhile to be waited on and given menus. Ordered the classic burger and fries as well as the pub pretzel. The pretzel is gigantic! This thing is a meal in itself with a good taste in beer cheese. I would come here just for the pretzel itself if I was going through town. The burger however was good and stuck to its name of “classic”. The burger looked like something I could have cooked up on the grill hastily at home. The buns were cheap store buns with the simple slice of craft singles cheese added. Only one waitress/bartender for the whole place as everyone else was in the back. She was very friendly and she kept up as best as she could.

Nice atmosphere. Service was disjointed. Had to repeatedly as for ice, sauces, napkins and silverware. All of which came at different times. Sauerkraut balls were a discussing color and has no flavor of sauerkraut, sent those back. Shrimp and chicken baskets were nothing more than a frozen dinner taste. Onion rings were great.

Nice place. The food not so good. The hamburgers are like gas station quality which is even more disappointing after waiting close to 2 hrs to get the last plate in our group of 8. The first plate came out in 45 minutes. Very unorganized place. Because the food was so bad probably wont try again. Seems like a year ago it wasnt so bad.

Stopped in here while on a group ride. Atmosphere and service was great along with the sandwiches that we ordered. We will definitely return in the future.

Pepsi was flat and the waitress still charged for it, even after I had sent it back. Charged for a pop I did not drink.After I received my receipt and explained that I was disappointed to see the Pepsi charge when I sent it back. Waitress told me the pop machine was down.Now it was taken off my bill, from that point on nothing but a huffed waitress upset about my request.So why serve pop if the machine is down? I am sure there was an option of iced tea, which was never offered.Bad timing on my part I guess. Picked the wrong day to dine.

Downhill from a visit I made in December. It actually was embarrassing.New owners have no idea what they’re doing. 2 tables seated at 7:00 pm. 4 servers out front. 1 meal took more than 30 minutes to serve. Servers absolutely not trained. Didn’t know the menu.The menu has been slashed to about 7 dinner items. Look only at the “Special” menu attached here. All others are not current.I would avoid until they either learn the business or go out of business and it sells to someone that knows the restaurant business.

This is really neat place but the service isnt very good and good is just mediocre!! Would recommend trying the bourbon slushie it was delicious!! The people working in there were more concerned about playing on their phones than working and making sure people had drinks and that their food was ok!!! Would probably not eat there again!! Would definitly not let the food stop you from visiting Augusta beautiful historical town in Kentucky!!!

Burgers, pub fries, and cheese curds were good, but unfortunately the service was the worst! I'm not sure if the Waitress was having a bad day or if that just the way she was as a person very poor attitude but it justmade the whole vibe of the place go from 5 star to two star which was unfortunate because I had high hopes for the place. I'm not the kind of person who likes giving poor reviews and rarely if ever do. No refills on drinks, rarely checked on us, didn't take the order correctly, and just acted like we were the problem when didn't get everything we asked for and didn't return until we had to call out to her to come back to the table after 30 minutes and follow up on what we asked for.. We just got a box and got out of there and went across the street for drinks and dessert. I'm sure it could better a experience on a different night with a different Waitress.

Great atmosphere, awesome food and ice cold beer - what's not to like. Stopped in last month and met one of the new owners. She was as nice as can be and made us feel like part of her family. I highly recommend.

Quick stop in town and got takeout lunch from here to eat at the park around the corner. They were friendly and fast and all our food was fresh, hot and delicious! The Bavarian pretzel was huge, homemade and so good! My 7 year old kept saying his wings were soooo juicy which is a big compliment from him!

Quite run down for what it is advertised to be. Food was ok. I got the house cheeseburger. Nothing special. Store-bought buns, frozen patties. The server was the hostess and clearly had zero customer service experience so we don't blame her for trying. The game room was fun. We won't go back simply because there are far better options there in Augusta! Sorry.
