This happened on Feb 9 2024 at 5pm. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT INTO THIS SPECIFIC KROGER! After we noticed an item missing from our order, which was the Homechef Chicken Pot Pie priced at $7.99 each. I instructed my spouse to go to the store to retrieve it as the online store indicated it was still available. The manager that I spoke with assured me that there would be no issue. However, when my spouse approached the woman at the deli to collect the order, she denied having it and refused to check, she told him There wasnothing missing from our order, then proceeded to give him a sarcastic smirk. Such behavior is extremely distasteful and unacceptable. If my husband wasn't on video call with me at the time I wouldn't have been able to fathom the behavior from this woman. I have been a loyal customer for years at this store and I can guarantee that I will never spend another cent of our hard earned money at this Kroger.

I am a return customer at Kroger top notch produce huge variety of canned good, fresh cheese and lunch meats as well as fresh fish,love the store, I love this store,thank goodness they have stocked shelves.

Ongoing shopping cart crisis. People here are using 1800s British Empire moves in order to get a functional cart, which there are very few. I can't really blame them. It may sound a bit funny, but the best condition cart I could find had 3 different sized wheels, and every time I wanted to turn it, it had to be lifted off of the ground and repositioned. Not only that, the self checkout system is atrocious. Every time you scan an item, it says something like, "Please replace scanned items in the bagging area." etc. It also called an employee on its own 3 times for no reason. Spent nearly 40 minutes, scanning 15-20 items.In short, go elsewhere to buy your groceries. It's not worth it here.

I have been going to this Kroger all my life and generally find it good. But I left CVS and Walmart because the pharmacy lines were too slow. Now this one is worse. The others will have the other clerks assist if a long line occurs, this one will not ever bring over a second clerk to help from the other window. The other window just seems not busy. After 12 minutes only one customer has been served. I am now 6th in line of ten currentlyPs, I was here an hour earlier and left because of the line then

I have never reviewed a grocery store but I'm desperate. The only food water you carried was Propel Mango in 12 pk and Propel peach in the single bottles. Well the mango did so well it was impossible to find one in stocks while the other flavors didn't sell beside the singles of peach which were always sold out too. My bf left a previous review asking to keep more of the mango or peach in stock. When I come in last week and today I find out that they have done away with only those 2 flavors. I was so baffled. Why do away with the bestsellers and keep the duds? That "Hint Water" you brought in , i guess to replace the mango water is literally the worst water I've ever tasted. And also could your ice cream stockers PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE quit letting the ice cream melt before putting it in the freezer. It's $7.99 a pint for my Graeters Black Raspberry Ice cream and the ice cream always has melted purple ice cream dripping down the sides underneath the seal and they're also in the only shelf in the freezer that is broken and freezer burns any ice cream that's there for a few days. It's hard as a rock when they've let them thaw before stocking. And it's literally more often than not. They're ruined right now if you want to go see. Check my graeters black raspberry and you'll see melted ice cream dripping under the seal an that is the only one that's sold out a lot besides Homestead Creamery butter pecan and you got rid of that too. The other flavors u kept dont even sell. I have an eating disorder and can only eat a few foods and these are some of them that I needed every day. Please, I'm begging you to bring the good stuff back and quit letting the stockboys ruin the ice cream

I've shopped here since I was a little girl and always liked it. They have things I can't find anywhere else, and store is clean. The prices can sometimes be a little high, but there's usually some decent sales.

I went to Kroger to pick up milk and return a boxed frozen pizza. As usual, the lights were off at the customer service desk. It was around dinnertime. I asked the only cashier working who I needed to see to return a frozen pizza. She told me that I could wait for the woman in customer service to come back from dinner. The woman had just left for dinner break, she said. I told her that the frozen pizza needed to go back into the freezer, and I wasn't going to wait for 30 minutes for her to come back. Who do I need to see? Same reply. I found a woman working at the self-service area who helped me. Everyone I saw working there looked older than me. I'm 62. This is no way to run the largest grocery store in town.

I generally like Kroger but I've had aggravating experiences over and over at this location. First off, about 80% of their carts have bum wheels that either make horrendous noise everytime you push it or get stuck, making it nearly impossible to push once you have more than a few items in the cart. I always try to go here first to look for my daughter's formula, as Walmart is a further drive and parking there is always full so I try to avoid it. Well, I usually have to end up going there anyways because 9 times out of 10 Kroger is completely out of her formula (Similac sensitive). Rarely I will get lucky and they will have 1 or MAYBE 2 cans so I'll get them but that means that very soon I will have to make another trip to get more. The most aggravating thing though, is that the customer service desk can just choose to close at absolutely any time. I have shown up at 3/4 before and they've had it closed. If it isn't closed then half the time you just have to stand there for 20 minutes waiting on an employee to come help you. I've lived in many Cities in KY, therefore have shopped at probably 15 different Krogers and this Kroger is the only one I've ever had this problem with.

NO CARTS in store. Employee on way in from parking lot with exactly 2 carts. I asked for one and he said “ no i need them”. Ok you are doing an online order i get it, but why not bring the rest of the carts in? Isnt that part if your JOB???? Only one checkout open besides the “ do it yourself “ ones, and FIVE shoppers waiting on line….. sad

It was alright for awhile. Then shelves poorly stocked. This morning did it for me. I understand nobody likes going to work. I know..l did it for 40yrs. Bottom line. I was trying to get around the girl with a pallet jack full of pop. She was blocking the main isle talking to another employee. As l was trying to figure out what l wanted..she decided to go to work. Stood literally 3 feet behind me all of a sudden with a mean look on her face. Went on about my shopping and the whole dang store was like that. VERY unfriendly. You'd say good morning they'd just look at you. Screw it. I'm shopping Walmart from now on. They're way more friendly and customer oriented.

I felt so uncomfortable after the recent trip here. I stopped by just to pick up some dog food really quick and used the self check out (was the only thing open because it was late at night). Older lady “helping” (really just standing around and playing dictator) at self check out with short, gray hair’s behavior was extremely embarrassing. We’ve had issues with her in the past because she believes she knows everything and smarts off to anyone who asks her anything. One customer asked for assistance while checking out because she couldn’t get something to scan and the employee said in a snotty tone, “Well, it has a barcode so it obviously will scan”. She acted like it was the end of the world when our machine acted up and called for assistance, all puffed up for no reason. Another younger lady employee was fixing something at her register and she asked her as snarky as can be to turn her register’s light on (to help move some of the crowd from the self check outs). Younger lady seemed stressed and said she had something about bags to fix and the older lady said nothing in response. When she turned her light on, the woman said, “thank you” in the nastiest tone possible. I considered applying to work here and told my mom on the way out that gave me the perfect reason to never apply there. If you let your employees, managers, and wannabe dictators walk all over their coworkers, and disrespect and humiliate customers to the point where they’re uncomfortable even checking out— what’s the point? I hope someone does me a favor and sends this review to the woman so maybe she’ll clean up her attitude. I don’t know how someone who works at Kroger (no offense to any of the other employees) behaves like a power-hungry bully, and seriously believes they are that high and mighty.

Employees are HORRIBLE. You have the ones in the produce section who run away if you try to ask them anything. Then there are ones who lurk in the back of the store and give customers dirty looks. Then there are the ones who are stacking shelves who are usually annoyed that customers exist at all. Then there is the guy at the self check out who spends too much time telling politically charged jokes loud enough to offend everyone at the check-out area. Back off. I'm here to get groceries not make friends, Tim. Kroger used to be a decent store. Not this one.

Kroger in ashland is the worst grocery store I have had the mispleasure of shopping at. Milk is always missing from the cases even though you can see plenty in stacks in the back. When asking an worker for a gallon request was ignored. Finished my shopping Milk was still not stocked

After self checkout, stood there for exactly 2 minutes, while four employees stood and talked and blocked my only exit path. Then, upon leaving, two more stood in the doorway talking, and wouldn't move, so I squeezed between them and said, "Excuse me." Management had always been helpful and pharmacy and morning weekday staff is great, but the younger staff is lacking in courtesy.

This is the WORST kroger as far as customer service goes- have had so many issues on mutilpe times with management and asking for help with the night crew. Nevermind the fact that their shelves are constantly not stocked...TONiGHT my husband went to the store to get our baby forumla and arrived 10:47pm, they had LOCkED the doors!! Worst part is a Cart boy was there and seen him, shrugged his shoulders and pointed at his wrist as to say "too late, look at your watch" then walked off!!!!!! We have a 6 week old infant - will be dealing with coorporate in the AM but i am super upset. This is beyond unprofessional-

Lots of Sale items today. Coffee was 3.99 man with 1.oo can and much more.In the meat dept. Older gentlemen was very helpful in answering my questions and I really appreciate his input with what would happen if meat is recalled and the answer he gave me helped me to be more comfortable buying anyway.Thank you Kroger. And I just love the staff in the Pharmacy.

They never have the sanitizing wipes to wipe off the buggie handle. It has a weird setup. Crackers with paper products? The parking lot is horrible. But the produce and meat is always good. Love their rotisserie chicken. Very fond of most of their sales.

Dropped my Review. Anyway the store itself is nice. The staff are friendly and they generally have the Items I need. The lower star rating is due tot eh fuel points. With everything going up we need every incentive to shop a store and Kroger likes to give 4X fuel points sometimes. Well today was one of thoes days. Last week was a 4X fuel points for gift cards. I purchased a 50$ Kroger gift card. Hoped to save .20 per gallon. Well apparently not bonus points for a Kroger gift card. Ok fair enough. I used it today and still got no points for my purchase. Not only did they cheat me the points for buying it, I was also cheated points for using it. Sad Kroger, just Sad. With out the fuel point incentive we can save the same amount of money by shopping at Walmart, and I hate Walmart.

My girlfriend and I have been doing all of our shopping here until today.We went and tried to get gas and we gave the woman $15 for gas and she only put $5 in the pump. I must note this is the second time ive been here and the same thing happened by the same woman.So this is where is gets worse....I had to walk all the way from the gas station to the store just to talk to a manager. The Managers name was Jason. He was very rude and didn't seem to care about anything that I had to say. In fact he made it clear when he called me a liar in front of my girlfriend and several people outside of the store.He defended the woman's actions. She was trying to steal my money and he didn't care at all.In fact he acted mad that I even contacted him to deal with the little problem of this woman trying to steal our money.He wanted nothing to do with his job. Any other manager would have walked over and talked to the woman with us.He did nothing of the sort.And what's worse is the fact that the woman fixed the issue and gave us two extra dollars.Where did that extra $2 Come from?We aren't shopping here anymore.

Expensive, husband told kid at door he didn't want to wear mask, but put one on anyway. Upon leaving boy started off telling me he's a minor and wouldn't want to see anyone get in trouble over him. I told him I know he's a minor, it's why I stepped in. He continued to smart off to me, I told him that was a bad idea. I should have gone to the manager then, but really, these days no one cares. REALLY?? SINCE WHEN IS IT ILLEGAL TO TELL SOMEONE YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING? SO I INFORMED HIM WE WON'T BE BACK. This happened at 7:25 pm on 7/16/2020

Had the worst experience today. I stood at the fish counter for 10 minutes without ever being waited on. Never saw a soul. Called the store and asked for a manager. Manager walks back and asks if I had been waited on, I say no, and she proceeds to disappear. I never got what I wanted, nor was I ever approached by the manager to apologize. She walked past me several times and never said a word. Just bad.

Drove from Huntington expecting to actually be able to find sale items in the store. Of course it was a total waste of gas. Went to get sausage asked one associate to help me and they told me that was not their job that I needed to ask a meat department person ask them and I was told the guy put everything he had out in the morning and if he didn't have any then that was shity luck for me. What's the point of sales if you never stock??

Greater selection of foods, especially newly released items. Store is clean and well organized, bit more room between counters. Produce looks fresh, well presented and is good when you get it home. Good selection of canned and frozen foods and store brands are excellent. Service staff are friendly, maybe not enough working in store area.

Never enough cashiers, but plenty of employees walking around the store doing the click list. It is July 1st at 3:20pm, 2 non-express registers are open and both lines are backed up and blocking the front of the store....... Walmart next time....
