Got my groceries at good prices and was getting ready to leave and ran out of gas. Two employees pushed my vehicle to the gas station across the parking lot. They were Angels for me I am handicapped and had enough money for gas but not a gas can.

Not sure about the shopping it's self but don't get a Western Union sent 2 u there unless you're ready 2 tell ur whole life story and b treated like you're a criminal n a police interrogation. My fiancee just got a new job working out of town and sends me money every payday. We tried NetSpend but the card charges every transaction. So we decided on Western Union that way I get all the money, at least until I get PayPal set up. But the cashier there was questioning me up and down. I've done this a few times already and it usually goes like it should. But this time the guy wanted 2 know who was sending me the money, why he was sending it, why his address shows he lives n the same area as I do and he's sending me money? Which I told him he doesn't live n the same area he lives with me. When I told him my fiancee works out of town and is sending me bill money. Which should have been good enough but no he just kept on questioning me! We just bought a house 2yrs ago n February and his ID has our old address because it hasn't expired yet, but I had 2 renew mine so it has our current address on it. And he questioned me about that "well if he lives with u then why did he give them a different address when he sent it" Which he didn't give them any address they just look at the address on his ID. It was just crazy the way he treated me. I also carry my old ID n my wallet under my new 1. So after I handed him my ID of course seen the old 1 then he hesitated as he was walking away the computer came bk and pointed at the old 1 and asked "well which 1 is the right one?" I said that one pointing 2 the 1 I gave him. So he walked bk towards the computer again and asked "is the address on this 1 you're ACTUAL address?" He just kept asking personal questions he really didn't need 2 know. He made me feel so uncomfortable and treated me so badly it started 2 make me feel like I was doing something wrong or commiting a crime because I got sent money through Western Union. So I would recommend going 2 Ashland Kroger's or anywhere else 2 pick up ur Western Union unless u want 2 tell ur whole life story, as well as b interrogated and treated like a criminal. That cashier was completely out of line..... I'm a manager myself and I would fire 1 of my employees 4 treating a customer like that. I'm not 1 that usually writes reviews or complains but I just had to warn ppl if u can avoid it don't pick up Western Union there. The way I was treated and questioned was completely unprofessional and uncalled 4 it's not against the law 2 have ur fiancee or anyone 4 that matter Western Union u money that's y that service exists.

We shop between Kroger's n Walmart. Yesterday, my husband accompanied me to Kroger's. We did the self checkout, which I've done many times without too much problem. Only 3 cashier lanes open n long lines. We were in the newer self checkout. We couldn't scan more than 10-15 items when machine said we needed assistance, this happened more than 10 times! He wasnt scanning fast, I was bagging. We had to wait for an attendant as others having problems too! It was a major hassle n inconvenience at the least! It charged us $65 for $1.59 bell pepper. Upon leaving, the attendant commented these machines are used!? And cause problems!? Kroger's, you need to correct this!

They have nothing you need. & every single time I go there the people that work there are blocking the isles to where you can’t get what you need and only one cart can be in the isle and they WONT MOVE. Do that when people aren’t there. They like to put their big blue carts in the way and gossip. Not going back there sick of it:

Jackie that works in the meat department was so helpful to show me on her phone how to set up an account to use coupons and helped me to get the 99 cent pork butt she was such a blessing and very patient Jackie is an asset to your company great with customers she encouraged me to get a Kroger's card. I went to self checkout Shawn helped me fill out for my card.

Produce is so-so. Hit and miss for specific items like asparagus or baby bok choy. The meat department has improved since 2015, but you can't get prime grade meats. I was used to Mariano's in Chicago, which Kroger purchased a few years ago and the Portsmouth & Maysville Krogers are close, but there's not enough room or a big enough market for Ashland.

I have to say the bakery has the most talented & caring associatesJennifer & Katie!!There was a misunderstanding with my order that neither one of the associates had taken it was for graduation so an important event and those two ladies jumped right on it fixed the issue.Couldn't be more thankful and grateful the CAKE ABSOLUTELY ROCKED!!!Also I tried to tip wouldn't accept it. Jennifer keep rocking at those beautiful cakes😊

Been to MANY Kroger stores, and some are my favorite stores, this is not one of those. People use the money desk to pay bills and other pretty vital business. Keeping it closed all the time makes this store little more than an over priced Aldi.

The place is okay. The store is clean and organized pretty well. The pharmacy is typically fast and courteous. The parking though... It's absolutely atrocious. They can't do much of anything about the nightmare road leading up to the store, but the lot is just terrible. The lanes are thin and it's terribly hard to maneuver around. The lot is always dirty and it's not very well-lit as well.Other than the dilapidated parking lot, it's not bad.

This used to be a good store but now it's basically turned into Aldi. They do have a good selection but they have horrible customer service and u should b prepared to bag your own groceries!!! Myself plus several other customers had to bag their own groceries while employees stood around and watched. I even saw an elderly woman having to bag her own groceries without any help at all from the staff.

Lines are always pretty short. Decent selection of produce. I've noticed some mold on produce but seems to be on more ethnic/less popular items. Fish quality definitely varies by day.

I like there pick up service it was real good and it was easy to shop online how there setup is and the woman that came to my car was nice and friendly why she unloading my stuff into my car and i was talking back to her and she would answer me back and stuff she had real good manners and stuff and very friendly wish i could have remember her name tag she was wearing i will be use this service more often cause how there setup is online and i like how they give recipt to you show the price of each item you purchased and stuff and how they text you and let you know your order is ready for pick up

I would live here if they would let me! I love everything about this store - the produce and natural foods are my addiction! You can get everything you need, including medications and fuel in one location. Be still my heart!!! The wait in line is never long either because they actually have cashiers working! (Are you reading this Walmart? I'm looking at you!) They are fast, friendly and always chat with you. My only issue is that sometimes the seafood section can be clearly smelled from the front doors. Otherwise, 100% and 5 stars!!!

Over all, I enjoy shopping here. There selection is pretty good, although they do sometimes discontinue products that I have purchased previously (and would like to purchase again.) Most of their employees are very helpful.

Noticed stocking issues recently, not having what we wanted, ideas that they normally have. Clicklist started out great but has since gotten worse. They give you a hard time if you don't allow for substitutions. Clicklist has also got to the point that they call and tell they are running behind and to give them an hour, then when you arrive they tell it will be another hour. Won't be coming back. Too many wasted trips.

Fruit and veggie selection was a little dull looking vs fresh.. our cottage cheese was really watery vs firm.. limted selection on some items but overall gas everything you need for a grocery store.

Alot of employees here has always been the rudest I've ever seen but its closer to my home. Recently I decided to go to the Ashland one and I love it much better! Everybody is so helpful and so nice! I will drive the extra 5 miles to go to Ashland

Clean store good parking (they do have parking spaces for compact car. Hard to fit Denali in them. Enough registers open so not a long wait. Plenty of self check out registers for those who use them. Don't have to wait forever for carry out.

Again - last night 8/27/17 at 6pm. No carts. This is just not the first time. at least 4 times in the last 3 months I've gone there and no carts. this was a Sunday, very busy time. Only 4 checkout lanes open and they were all backed up 4-6 (or more) deep. Shelves were not stocked, etc etc.
