We took our clients in there this morning to buy them clothes when we looking for clothes I turn around at four workers watching us like we was stealing then checking out the lady at that counter was slamming the clothes on the counter and throwing the hangers I’m not sure what her problems was but she honestly don’t need to work in retail with that kind of attitude!!!!!!

Just went there today with my wife and baby to buy some clothing for a new church friend who was with us. He was dressed in dirty work clothes. As we were leaving out the door to the street with our purchases, the security alarm beeped at us. A shorter, middle aged female (looked like a manager or supervisor), literally walked right up to our friend and ripped the bag of clothing out of his hand very rudely and briskly walked to the checkout desk with it, going through the items to make sure he didn’t steal them. We all just stood in the door way with our jaws dropped. She didn’t introduce herself and I don’t think she had a name badge on because before we could look she was already walking away with the stuff we purchased. clearly the way she talked to us and behaved, she thought he had stolen something. It was also embarrassing that everyone saw this. It wasn’t the fact that she checked our bag it was how she did it and acted towards all of us. Our fried told us after, “I thought since I shaved and got a hair cut they wouldn’t do that to me anymore.” There were other people that left through the doors the same time we did but it was clearly evident she profiled us and our friend. Regardless, her behavior and attitude was very unprofessional, rude and 100% uncalled for. I work in health care and a good friend of mine works at the same JC Penny there as well- neither of us would ever treat anyone this way and it completely shocked all of us. My wife and I are so upset by this that we just called corporate customer service who was also appalled at this employees behavior. I never write bad reviews because I am big proponent of positivity and professionalism, but this was the exact opposite of both of those. I am not ok with this kind of treatment to anyone.

Although some of the merchandise is cute, a lot of it is poorly designed and overpriced. There are a few excellent employees, but a lot of them are snobby. They will annoy you about applying for the credit card to get a discount. (Even after you say that you aren't interested). Usually you can find the coupon they offer on the Jcpenney app or website. The last few times my family and I have gone, their prices do not match at the register. We even took a picture of the sign and they had to manually adjust it.

Great experience , very nice lady in the men's department had me try on about ten shirts until she found me the perfect fit . She opened and unbuttoned all shirts and repacked them all and she was running and finding all the shirts. Excellent worker very friendly and knows her job.

Very disappointed, went to buy a pair of juniors sweatpants that said 21.99 reg. 44.95 (doorbuster) the cashier said I had to buy 2 pr. No where on the sign did it say thay I ask her to show me where it said that she said it's a doorbuster you have to buy 2 I have not been that upset for a while and no I don't play those games!!

Been to this JCPenney's, in Ashland Town Center, just once. I didn't buy anything, just looked around. It is a nice department store. They have a Sephora's, and so another specialty departments, as well as a salon. I am interested in having my hair done at their salon, because the best haircut I ever had was at a JCPenney's salon, back in Baltimore Maryland. I hope this one is just as good. I will let y'all know how it goes. The store is set up well, has a nice atmosphere and they have good sales. I would recommend anyone shopping there if you are in need of department store type products. The prices are not horrible and they sell some good brands and have a decent selection.

Great clearance picks. Seemed to have enough employees on the floor to answer our questions. Not many people but suggest checking out on the mall entrance instead of main entrance from parking lot. Much smaller lines at check out. The young women helping at that check out was super. She even helped me find my husband. I swear its like trying to find Waldo. Lol

I had a problem with a lost item not purchased at Penny's. An employee that worked in the Salon went totally out of her way to try an locate it. She knows who she is and I greatly appreciate it. I eventually found it at home Duh!
