I cannot get over the price here versus the pricing at our previous groomer. With gratuity, we still save over $100 dollars by coming to Earthwise. Nose to tail for TWO dogs was $150. Both dogs get washed, blown out, ears, teeth, nails and coat trim. We have large dogs who both have solid coats, funky ears and yucky breath from getting into doggie mischief on our property. They both come back looking and smelling fantastic. They also get so excited to go which leads me to believe that the staff treat them kindly while the dogs are in their care and I love that so much. Pricing, convenience and wonderful staff—I will definitely continue using Earthwise.

Went today for the first time to bathe my hyper new foster dog. Staff was very friendly and super helpful, helped me pick out a good conditioner for a bit so great coat and suggesting which of their 5 shampoos wpuld be best. Great water pressure, very good temp and nice dryer. Very pleased, will definitely go back and tell my dog friends.

**Edit because what I said still stands despite the response. Tell people up front that the price is not final. This is no way to do business. My husband and I are not denying that our dog is hyper. But he has been to other groomers and we have never seen an upcharge for this. We have never paid more than $95 for a grooming. My dog is strong and hyper. But this is your job and I imagine he isn't the only dog to not sit still for a haircut. Bottom line is that I asked for a price so I could weigh options in the area. Had I been told it would or could be this much, I'd have respected it and moved on. It's the potential for additional cost being left out that makes this shady. I mean, I could have bought a grooming table and done this myself for the price I was charged. The quote was $85. No reason for me to lie about $5 when I was already charged so much extra. We left a $15 tip BEFORE knowing that extra money was tacked on willy nilly so that was our mistake. If you give a price, stick to it, or warn customers that it COULD be more if their dog doesn't sit still or is strong. I've seen 3 other reviews across social media and google about the upcharges. I'd be letting people know that prices aren't final. I am thankful we had the extra financial room to pay the additional cost and our other bills with 2 children. This was irresponsible and inconsiderate. Please be honest with people ahead of payment time**Completely blindsided by the price. I was told $85 on the phone and when my dog was picked up it was $145 because he howled and was strong?? Absolutely crazy. DO NOT GO HERE. Nobody can afford to be scammed out of extra money in this economy. They LIED and told us the extra charge was partially due to the groomer staying over which she told us upfront it would be about 2 hours and she called right on time, so that made no sense, and was obviously an excuse. The girl on the phone was so nervous because she had no real reason for the service being so outrageous. There was no legitimate breakdown of the extra cost. I asked why it was that much and this was the reason I was given. Basically, he was strong (not aggressive, they even said this), so I guess the groomer just chose to charge us however much they wanted to despite telling us a certain price already. People ask for prices so they know if they can afford the service, not so they can be lied to and scammed out of more money later on. I wish I had read more about how often they do this before I booked. I'll be going back to our old groomer next time.

Self wash for my Dane Ebbie Lee, water was warm once i got my girl in tub... she was very hesitant and staff member asked me ig i needed help just to let him know and he would help. it was so much easier than at home

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They clearly love what they do! I love the self wash tub! My sweet Dio is too big for me to get in the tub anymore. Using the tub at this location was easy and quick. Dio looks great!

I took my Great Dane Boxer mix puppy for her first grooming. She is VERY over dramatic about everything that happens, and she was dramatic the whole time, which we expected. The staff handled her drama queen personality perfectly. They were very kind, time efficient, and cost efficient. She came out smelling of flowers, with perfectly trimmed nails, and a cute flower bandana around her neck. I made another appointment before leaving, and definitely intend on making this a regular bi-weekly thing. I don’t recall the staff members name who groomed my puppy, but she was very nice, and I wish to have her groom my puppy every time we come in!

Emma did excellent grooming my dachshund.Gracie (dog) is usually fearful of new people, we’ve had horrible grooming experiences in the past. I explained to Emma before hand and she was very understanding.Gracie looks great and didn’t seem stressed when I picked her up. And she was done in 45 mins!Lots of high quality food and treats as well.

I have a husky that I've brought in a few times for the self wash. Always has been easy to use but I brought him in for a groom this past week and could not have been more pleased. The staff is so friendly and they did an absolute excellent job with him. The price was also incredibly reasonable for the groom. Most places price3 jumps $50+ when they find out it's a husky. Not here. I'll be bringing him here from now on!

I come here for the Barn Yarn cat toys because they are quality made toys that will not get destroyed after one playtime. Most of the time, I have to call ahead or wait for an order to come in because the toys are so popular. The good thing is there is always Nulo snacks to satisfy my cats in the meantime!

The self wash station is fantastic! I have a German shepherd who doesn’t love bath time, and it was so much easier bathing her at the self wash station. The dryer is much more powerful than a regular hair dryer which helped get them dry quicker. They also have friendly, helpful staff!

I took my dog there for the self wash , and was not happy. The water was literally ice cold the entire time. Now this is the month of February. The soap was very weak and hardly even had suds even though I had it on high. Now as for the staff they were very nice. I was just not pleased to pay the money for an ice cold bath with little to no soap. The cold water had my dog yelping and shivering the entire time.

Lucy’s second trip to the self wash was just as great as the first. The associates working there are friendly and efficient. The store is super clean. My daughter likes it so much, she does all the work. We are planning to bring our other dogs in soon! Inexpensive, well equipped, easy to use and it beats having to clean up afterwards at home!

We have visited a few times and took the leap to move our dog’s grooming needs here. He is a gentle, 6 year old mixed breed, weighing approximately 20 lbs. His bath and haircut were phenomenal, the groomer (Emily, I think) did a fantastic job. She spoke kindly to him, kept him calm, and groomed him very well. He looks and smells great, and was not stressed when we picked him up (which has sometimes happened with other groomers). The store also carries loads of foods and treats and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning!

Very clean and the employee was helpful. The self wash soap dispenser was out of 3 types of shampoo but they had bottles setting out for use. Only real complaint was the water stayed cold.

Earthwise is the best place for pups in Ashland! My dog has never been groomed before, and they did such an amazing job with her for the first time. Staff is incredibly friendly and talented, and my pup looks great! (The awesome treats and toys in store are another awesome bonus.)

We have visited the store from time to time and always been pleased. We have gotten to know and trust the staff. It was recommended we try goats milk for the girls. While both are rescues, one had an extremely rough start in life. She is older and her skin/hair loss/itching have always plagued us. So we thought sure, why not, they eat fresh so let’s give the goats milk a try. WOW, in less than a week their breath improved, no issues with licking/digging and their coats are healthy and shinny! We are into flea season and not a single bite or flea. Their appetites has approved and their improved energy level has made the older one the dance around like a new pup again. I can not begin to thank them for rescuing our rescues!
