Rude people operating the store, didn't tell me my total for my purchase then took my money from my hand when I hadn't offered it yet, I was still waiting on a total so they took all of it. I said excuse me and they acted offended, I will not be going back. We're just simple country folks and we give respect when we get it.

The nicest people I have ever met, with great food! We were staying at Greenbo lodge, and the restaurant closed for some busted pipes. We found Browns grocery store, and to our surprise, they had a hot deli,pizza and salad service. We purchased steak sandwiches, antipasta salads,fries, and pizza. All of the food was excellent. The staff were even more excellent with their hometown warmth and conversation. They have an extended menu of fried chicken and such. We will visit again whenever we are through there.So glad to find this place!

We all remember going to browns as far back as being a small child the small home town feel and the owners who knew you by name and your family always made for a good stop the people who own it do well as in good food and attention to costumers their chicken tenders and wedges are better than the rest of the quick stops in the area they also have great shakes and cones as birthday cake ice cream is a favorite in my house and they have the best around it's a good place to stop before you go to the lake they have a little of everything their pizza and sandwiches are very good their prices aren't to high for being one of the only two option you have in that small area it's deff worth stopping and grabbing a cone on a hot day forsure

Great chicken also little known secret called a "Lidwich" it's hot ham -n -cheese, lettuce tomato, onion, baked in pizza dough feed 2 or 3 easy! Try it, its great!

Prices are pretty steep for food. But, a close distance to the lodge for a beverage, chips, bread, or hotdogs.

This store was absolutely disgusting. We made an emergency stop for diapers. The package was dirty and smelled horrible inside and out.
