Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Meds are NEVER ready within a reasonable amount of time. I called an hour ago and was told my prescription would be ready in 25 minutes (after it was sent in several hours ago as it is), just got here and it’s not ready. They say they need 10-15 more minutes. I miss Alexandria Drugs. Go to literally any other pharmacy in the area, this Walgreens should be a last resort. Will be switching all scripts to Walmart. I’ve lived in the area for 4 years and this Walgreens pharmacy has been terrible the entire time. I wish I could give negative stars.

Walgreens not only bought out and immediately closed our pharmacy, but they never gave clients any notice or directions in how to handle their prescriptions, gave every single person in a long line the run around on transferring medications to a preferred pharmacy, ignored phone calls and randomly closed pharmacy at random hours with no warning or heads up. The pharmacist was also extremely rude to talk to. They will NEVER receive any of mine or my families business, EVER.

Disrespectful staff and not much done about it.My father unexpectedly passed away last week, so I recently had many pictures of him printed here to use on picture boards at his funeral. When I went to pay for them I noticed that about 15 pictures were blurry with a red and blue tint on them. I said something to the employee and he proceeded to blame it on my phone and then on how the photos came into the “system.” After going back and forth, he agreed to reprint them. We waited there for 30 minutes without anyone saying anything to us about the reprints, but this was not the problem. The problem was when two other employees started talking about the reprints in front of us. Then one of them, named Emery, started looking through the blurry pictures and he rolled his eyes and shook his head as if I was causing such a big stink about asking for reprints. Mind you, I stayed silent while waiting and never gave any attitude about the blurry pictures. I then told them that I didn’t care about the reprints anymore and I asked to speak to a manager. A shift lead, named Jack, claimed to be the manager and somewhat laughed it off when I told him what Emery had just done. He said, “Okay, I will talk to him about his eyes.” Clearly Jack, the “manager,” was not too concerned about his employee’s behavior. All they did was partially refund me for the blurry pictures and send me on my way. I didn’t even want the refund- I just wanted decent pictures for my dad’s funeral.In summation, what a terrible customer service experience I had while still grieving the loss of my father. I was not mass printing photos of the same man for fun. The photos were being mass printed of the same man for his damn funeral, but apparently asking for reprints of 15 pictures was a little too demanding on my part.

one of the worst walgreens i have been to. this worker was very rude and completely ignored me and then continued to walk away and not answer my question. he got very disrespectful because i asked where i am supposed to pick up a pick up order because i was not sure if i was supposed to wait in the long line or pick it up next to the registers. then when i tried to ask if they stop doing curbside at certain times, he walked away and ignored me.

The general merchandise store is fine but the pharmacy is dreadful. Will not recommend to an enemy. Dropped off a prescription for an antibiotic for an ear infection around 2:15 today following an urgent care appointment. The girl took the script and was gone for a minute or two. She was informed when we she was given the script that we needed it today. Upon her return to us we were told, no conversation, that it would be ready tomorrow. I am/was livid. This is the absolutely worst pharmacy ever experienced. I did call only to be told that there was a pharmacist there at the time of our visit.

Wish I could leave zero stars. The pharmacy will message you that your prescription is ready, have you wait in line for it where they VERY CLEARLY SEE YOU. Even if you make it on time before their “scheduled lunch” Just to close the pharmacy right in front of you to go to lunch. Customer service means taking care of your customers first not slamming a door or window on your customer. Completely unacceptable. Walgreens do better

This review is ONLY for the Pharmacy. If you schedule an appointment to receive any vaccination, MAKE SURE YOU CALL BEFORE YOU LEAVE, to make sure the pharmacist is available. I made an appointment, took time off work and when I arrived I was told the pharmacist was in a conference call for the next two hours. I understand things like this happen, but when making my appointment I had to give a contact number. Anyone with an appointment, should have been contacted and advised to reschedule.

Pharmacy review from October 2020 - I’m a school teacher and contracted a nasty cold at 19 weeks pregnant. The information I received from my OB wasn’t specific as to which types of the named medication were safe for me to take. I was quickly greeted by the pharmacy staff and spoke with the pharmacist in less than three minutes. I handed him the list of the approved, but vague meds, at which point he quickly confirmed certain types would be less safe for me to take. He researched and verified which two medications I’d need to buy and talked me through what to expect and look for with the pregnancy. I will honestly use that combo of cold meds for the rest of my life. I normally don’t post reviews, but I greatly appreciated the time and thoroughness of that encounter!Photo flip side: now for the reason I didn’t give this Walgreens a five star - I purchased 4x6 photos and the quality was sub par. The colors of the prints were far darker than the original photo I uploaded. Then, when I arrived to pick up my photos, they misplaced my order and spent seven minutes looking for it. The slip up with communication and organization was a little concerning. I might try it one more time because the price was great, but maybe you get what you pay for...

Honestly, this is the absolute worst Walgreens I have ever been to in my life. Every. Single. Month. They mess up my medications! I have to CALL THEM to remind them to fill my prescriptions and when I go to pick them up, they never have them ready or in stock and are rude to ME about it. They constantly mess up the pricing with prescriptions because they rush through it so quickly. It is truly disappointing because I have ALWAYS been a customer of Walgreens pharmacy, but this is Walgreens has truly ruined the entire company for me, that’s how stressful they make my life every month!

For the pharmacy. If zero stars was an option, that’s what I would give. I went in for my 2nd covid dose and was told I didn’t have an appt (even though I scheduled my second dose the same day I scheduled my first dose). Even though the Walgreens.com, the sign on the front door, and the automated message over the intercom states the pharmacy takes walk-ins, that was not the case. I was told they could not take me as a walk-in because of the “high volume” they had (I was the ONLY person in the pharmacy at the time). I went online to schedule a new appt and saw 18 available spots. Not sure what “high-volume” they were talking about, but it definitely wasn’t patients.The tech also incorrectly administered the covid vaccine, when I tried to correct her she cut me off to tell me she knew what she was doing. I now have to receive ANOTHER dose because my OB believes the one I received will be ineffective because of the way it was given. The tech and the pharmacist were very rude altogether. Will not be returning to this Walgreens pharmacy.

I don't know where they decided to search for their pharm techs, but a month ago, they deleted my husband's medicine order out of the system, now a month later, they screwed my husband's medication up by putting it under the wrong doctors name and deleted the order out of the system completely.We decided to switch to walgreens in highland heights because in the past, I've never dealt with as many issues from Walgreens before. Called his doctor, they sent the order back into the highland heights pharmacy. When they tried to process the order, the insurance said denied it and said the medication had been picked up.Only two of the three were picked up at Alexandria Walgreens, and they put it in that all three were picked up after giving him a medication under the wrong doctors name, we are currently battling it out with doctors and insurance, now my husband is possibly without a medication that he can't just stop taking for the next thirty days.Try to avoid this place if at all possible. Lives are at stake for the carelessness that seems to be happening here recently.

For pharmacy :I made an appointment online to get a vaccine at 1pm. I arrived 10 minutes early and waited in line until a little after 1pm. I was then informed because they take lunch at 1:30, they couldn’t administer the vaccine and that I would have to come back after their lunch.What a phenomenal waste of my time.

This place is an absolute joke, they were going to charge me 2000 dollars for my antipsychotic that costs 20 dollars elsewhere. Jason was super rude the pharmacy is not run by good people.

Review for store only not pharmacy. The front end associates are always welcoming and make sure you have everything you need. Great service. There are times when the line can get long but that all depends on what people buy. Clean store and most things are easy to grab and go.

I have used Walgreens for the last 21 years to fill all of my prescriptions. This Walgreens however, I started using in March 2020. It is by far, the absolute WORST Walgreens I have ever used in my life. The entire staff in the pharmacy, are so rude!

Really rude when you call in. i was constantly placed on hold without even answering the call for over 25 minutes. I couldn’t refill the medication without speaking with the pharmacy staff. This is very unprofessional and ridiculous behavior. I have had several poor experiences with this pharmacy and it’s a rather consistent negative experience every time.

Wow!! Is all i can say!! The pharmacist that works there is a straight prick! Ive never seen such harsh discrimination from a pharmacist! This guy thinks he knows better than the damn doctors! And it wasnt even me whom he treated that way!! I watched hin treat this poor girl so harshly because she was getting a drug that is used to help get people OFF of drugs!! He treated her like a dog and i am disgusted by it!! I will be transferring my prescriptions to Kroger!

This is late entry: 4/2019. My mom and I was making funeral pictures for my son Jacob Rice. There was a lot of crying and laughter. We had purchased many pictures to give away at his funeral. The manager overheard us and offered sympathy and then discounted my items 50%. It was so much not the discount, but the human part that made me so happy.

This is a quaint Walgreens. It isn't a 24 hour store like some of the big ones, and it's what they call a "simplified" store; they got rid of a lot of extra products. But you'll still find what you need. The service is friendly and helpful (shout out to Kenzie, an employee that's been there awhile and always seems to be there when I am). I recommend this to anyone looking for a pharmacy!
