I support Southern States as much as I can and I’m not a farmer . I do try and manage the deer with food plots . So they always have what I need . If by chance they don’t they get it and let me know when it’s ready . The people that work there are as good as people as you can find .They are people that truly support the community. There’s one lady in mind and everyone that reads this and has met her knows her . After enduring a life changing experience she comes to work with a smile on her face and is always smiling . She impressed me then and even more so now . Southern States Corporate I hope you read this . I would love to see her gifted something to let her know she makes a difference everyday she’s there helping others even if the help was as simple as the smile she greeted you with or the thank you for stopping by at Southern States. All respect in the world .

Great old store kinda place, great service from friendly employees. Farm, Garden and Home supply. Specializing in different Turf and Farm grass seed, local Kentucky milled animal feeds from Chickens and Mini Pigs, to Horses and Cattle and everything in between. Garden center has bulk mulch at a great price and a good selection of landscape plants and trees.

The manager stole from me. The usual guy was busy so the boss filled my grill tank. When the tank is full, the shut off handle is forced into the off position. He didn't allow my tank to fill and knocked the handle off. I was surprised! I wanted to say something but he was illegally filling my expired tank. I just took my 1/2 tank home and won't be back. If he's stealing from customers, he's probably robbing that poor lil co-op blind.I bought a new tank. Now, I can deal with reputable businesses.

This location never carries even the basic necessary items for farming. What's the point of this location if your customers have to drive an hour to a different location to get even basic items.

Excellent staff. The employee's are very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They source a lot of their products from local growers,farmers and small entrepreneurs. Definitely a 5 star community store that's worth supporting.

So I went to this store the first time in a long time. I called first to see if they had the product I was looking for. And they answered in a timely manner. And after I got the product loaded in my car. I asked the guy how to use it. And he went in detail to help.
