EXCELLENT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE!! Stopped in for lunch. Had a turkey sandwich and corn nuggets. Turkey sandwich was on fresh baked bread, turkey was pulled turkey not lunchmeat, cheese was freshly shredded, and everything was grilled so perfection. Oowy goowy goodness. Truck parking is available, so I will be stopping again in the future.

Wonderful staff so upbeat and friendly. The pies were amazing and the sweet roll was as big as the to go container and not the small one but a big plate size one and they let you pick which one you want. The price was the only thing I disagreed with, I thought it should cost more, never thought I would say that. lol

The place was very clean and quiet. The service was helpful and friendly. I love looking in their gift shop! The food was tasty, abundant and hot. The strawberry pie was absolutely delicious with NONE of the bitterness in the glaze you can get at some restaurants!!! A minor thing was the toughness in a small amount of the fried okra we ordered as an appetizer. We mentioned it to our server and she took it off our ticket and let the kitchen know about it. I look forward to my next meal there 😊

Loved everything about this place! Food, service, and atmosphere were amazing! We just drove by on our way to Wichita and chose to come back and check it out on the way back to Hutchinson for Softball. I have heard nothing but good, so we tried it. And the Pies were out of this world. Oh, and the price was nice on my wallet, which helped this single Mom out.Parking: Plenty of parking. It may look full, but you get inside and plenty of seating. So don't pass it up.Kid-friendliness: It's a family environment, and I loved the family style options. So, it reminded me of the good old days.

This is always a must for our family when we go to Kansas! We always get the pork chops dinner and the chicken fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and corn. The pork chops are seasoned and grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of crispy and chewy fat! The chicken is breaded just the right way. The bread you get to start is just the right level of dense and when you spread their whipped cinnamon butter on it? Heaven. And the pies! I don’t think we’ve ever been disappointed with the pies. Fantastic service. If you have never been to Carriage Crossings it needs to be on your list of places to go!Kid-friendliness: You would be hard pressed to find something that a kid would refuse. Plus, there’s a shop at the front, as well with plenty of fun stuff for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room

Will make a drive to eat here. Great selection of pies (blueberry was my favorite) and a fun little store to show While you wait. There are times the chicken may be a tad dry but other items never disappoint like the sweet potatoes. Overall, it is always a really good meal and the whole family is happy. I'll be back for more pie....

Food was absolutely delicious, and served in much bigger portions that I expected (which my boyfriend said was a good thing because he knows I don't eat nearly enough, and if I had known, I naturally would've asked for smaller portions)!! I was grateful for the leftovers later! Anyway, I don't remember her name, but our waitress was amazing!! She was so kind and patient when it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to order! The store in Carriage Crossing was really cool as well!! We spend at least an hour exploring everything in there, and ended up buying several things! It was very enjoyable, the whole experience was! Definitely will come back in the future, probably a lot!!Dietary restrictions: They were very understanding about the different things I couldn't eat, and were willing to modify it a bit for me!

Wrapped up a busy morning and decided on having lunch here. The four of my colleagues agreed to do the family style lunch. How could you be disappointed with Fried Chicken, Roast Beef, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, salad, bread. And we got a slice of pie for dessert. My friends told me to get a Cinnamon Roll for later that day or for the morning. Everything was truly tasty. The dessert choices were amazing so I made sure I left room. I chose the Lemon Meringue only because it was the only thing I could possibly eat. The other 3 chose Apple Pecan, Coconut Cream, Apple. If I’m back in the area again this is a must stop!

Phenomenal first experience. Large restaurant, they were quite busy but service was friendly and quick. I had the ham steak, mashed taters, and carrots. Hands down the best ham steak and cooked carrots I've ever had. My wife got the 8 oz KC strip and she said it was amazing; no steak sauce needed. Anyone who doesn't give this place 5 stars is looking for something to complain about.

For 30 some years always looked forward to an opportunity to stop at Carriage Crossing for an amazing home style meal and cinnamon rolls to die for. Unfortunately, I’m afraid those days have come to an end. Start with country fried steak … if you prefer a low grade pre-breaded processed version you MIGHT be satisfied. Myself, I prefer a piece of steak pounded out & freshly breaded. The chopped steak …. Nothing short of a prefabbed hamburger patty served with barely cooked raw bacon with basically raw onion & green peppers. They MAY have touched the grill for a few seconds. I will say the glazed carrots were good and the server was great. Will we be going back? Probably not. So disappointed what once was someplace we looked forward to has become nothing more than heating up frozen food.

My husband and I came for the Parade of Quilts. Even though I am on a 'liquid and soft foods only diet' while recovering from surgery we decided to go to my favorite restaurant for lunch. Our waitress was very gracious getting me mashed potatoes and gravy since I was unable to eat the sausage meal I usually have there and made sure to bring me a piece of a cream pie that had no fruit or other hard ingredients in it that I would not be able to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed my piece of peanut butter pie even though I was unable to eat the pie crust.

Had a wonderful time! A little off the beaten path when you are driving through Kansas but Carriage Crossing was a great place to stop and rest. The service was great, the people were friendly, and the food was delicious. Everything had a nice, quaint, and homey feel to it. If you’re in the area, stop by!

Best steak I've had in a while! Everything was so fresh and delicious, staff was very friendly. Highly recommend. I usually order a blue rare steak expecting to get rare, but went ahead and ordered rare expecting medium rare. This steak was perfectly cooked, and flavored expertly! Must try!
