I love that they do the double up bucks for ebt holders. They have good sales, some of the prices are pretty high for some things but that is true of a lot of small town stores. Some of their freezers have mold though and could use a good cleaning. Especially the egg cooler. But otherwise a decent store.

Amazing! I've lived near for years and never knew they had more on the healthy side! The cashier lady was very nice answering my questions. They also do the Dollar for Dollar with Snap on fresh fruits and veggies! Definitely will be going again!

I love G&W in Chanute and Iola and Fredonia. I visit them quite frequently. The meat department is the best. The butcher's are doing everything right there in the store makes it the freshest cut beef in the area. The produce department is superior to any other. Employees are helpful and friendly. I will always enjoy their customers as well. This is just a friendly atmosphere. Prices are a little pricey but my dad used to say "you get what you pay for" .......

I had a great shopping experience at G&W Foods today. First off, all of the personnel are so friendly and nice. I was greeted when I entered and also wished well when I left. The store has very competitive prices and some really great specials. Even though we live in small Yates Center we are so fortunate to have such a great supermarket!

Nice, clean store. Prices comparable to larger cities. Staff very nice and friendly. Has just about everything a person would expect. All the essentials and more. Easy parking. Location right on 54 hwy. Definitely easy to see. Worth your stop. Well stocked.

So much of their product is expired and still on the shelves. My fault for not looking, but I just assume that someone might check perhaps at least once per week. I bought juice that was expired for 6 months and bacon that was expired for 2 weeks. The produce is awful. The only positive thing I can say, really, is that the staff is nice. It is disappointing because I have been to other G&W stores, and they seem to have much better product.

All the employees are super friendly and helpful. Also, the store carries items that I used to think I needed to go out of town for—just ask. Competitive prices too!

It's the only store in town. They know it so their prices are very high for what you get. You will need check the expiration date on anything you buy to make sure it's still in date. Staff is friendly enough. If it wasn't the only grocery store in town I would shop someplace else.

Anna checked me out while Blake bagged my groceries. Both were fantastic! All of the guys in the meat department are super helpful and make sure I get good quality food :)

They are all so very nice to me when I shop there. May be a bit high priced, but it's worth it because they always have what I need, plus employees who are just so nice.

The hours posted are not correct at all. They close whenever they feel like it most of the time. The cashier's are usually too busy gossiping to help anybody.

Nice store..great cashier..really great quality. The gentleman bagging our groceries put cleaning supplies in with my fresh food. Which is not ok. Otherwise the store is great..

Great small town grocery store. We went and bought food here instead of coming to Hoover's here in Burlington. They were about 50% of what Hoover's charges. Walked out with a 9 pound roast for only 14$. And a few other meals all under 120$.

Because of the small town this store is where you can get most anything grocery. It is very convenient to go in here you can get your batteries for your remote control . You can also get fresh sliced lunch meat it has a little everything. It is very similar to the g&w foods in Chanute Kansas but it doesn't have Walmart to compete with it has a Family Dollar.

Everyone there was really friendly. I had forgotten that they had someone to help people out with their groceries and wheeled them out myself. Not used to being waited on.

The Yates Center store is really small and makes you wonder when the clerk starts making sure you stuff isn't out of date. Make the trip to Iola, it's a better option.

I feel we are very fortunate in out little town to have the quality of grocery store that we do. I try as hard as I can to keep groceries local and appreciate not having to drive out of town.

The thing I don't see people saying is all these G&W ARE VERY VERY HIGH PRICED YOU WOULD SAVE HUNDREDS OF DOLLORS GOING TO A BIGGER TOWN WITH DIFFERENT STORES TO CHOICE FROM. BUT FOR A QUICK NEED OF SOMETHING ITS OK BUT THEY DO NOT CHECK DATES AT ALL SO YOU HAVE TO DO THAT YOUR SELF.
