I brought two whole chickens that were on sale for $12, from Tyson brand; & got food poisoning from it. I'm never going there again. (501 E Pawnee St, Wichita, KS 67211)Walmart should be shame. As if they don't have enough bad publicity.

I feel unsafe in this store, you have to get in and out quickly in the morning. This place is unfriendly and downright rude with some employees working there. In my opinion, this particular Walmart has run off the best and nicest long time workers that they once had. Even though the store seems clean now, how long will it be before it returns to being filthy? The restrooms a lot of times are filthy with some toilets being stopped up or being downright filthy.Making a complaint with corporate is a downright joke. This place has been poorly run by the long time current manager. Corporate needs to do something FAST before it gets worse.

Very organized, friendly people who work there and very helpful! I mean the other day I was there and browsing and a young, female employee came over and offered a nice ,"Hello" and asked if she could help me find what I needed. That's just what I needed and she made me feel good about choosing that store to do my shopping. Thank you Walmart employee.What's great about the stores is the ability to download their App and you can go hunting for great deals all over the store. Great times at Walmart!

One of the top 3 nicest walmarts in the city. Pretty much always clean and stocked well. One employee even asked if I needed help or had questions. I've never been asked that at a Walmart before.

I made an error with my transaction at self checkout and didn’t finish the transaction because I used to gift card and it didn’t have enough money left on it but an asset protection lady approached me with security and accused me of stealing $10 worth of merchandise. These people should kindly ask questions instead of automatically accusing people because I will never purchase anything in the store ever again and if anybody wants respect for themselves, they shouldn’t purchase anything in the store either.

Sketchy people and unfriendly workers. Two I tried talking to mumbled back to me, I had to ask them to speak up.The "Health & Beauty" section is closed off at 9pm every night "for your safety"... Seriously? In the store, and the heath section is closed off?Lots of people hanging out by the cars and front entrances, not a safe feeling at all!

My sister and i went to this Walmart tonight, we were shopping for some makeup and were asking the employee for help (i believe Marise or Lamarise was her name) we’ve seen her before and its not the first time shes been rude to us. Maybe she just hates working there? Anyways she handled it very unprofessional and did not apologize for behavior. She even went as far as discussing the encounter with other customers. I knew this Walmart was ghetto but it seems to always surprise more and more.

I don’t care for this particular location. Items are hard to find and the area feels a little unsafe. My biggest issue is the parking lot. It’s weirdly chaotic and the two times I’ve been to this location some random person approached me in the parking lot asking for money. That really made me uncomfortable.

Worst Walmart ever. Customer service sucks & they don’t price match their online prices here because they are too lazy. I just spent $50 extra for an Apple Pencil cause he was too lazy to price check. (THEIR OWN PRICES - which other Walmarts will)

Despite there being a police building across Walmart, this place during the day feels kind of unsafe but at night its like the alternate time line scene from Back To The Future Part 2. The prices are higher, more items are locked behind Plexiglass and there is less cashiers for large grocery hauls. Cannot recommend going unless you live a gray 2000s Pontiac hubcap-less lifestyle.

People stranded in the mountains trying to out run an avalanche with no chance of a rescue team ever being able to arrive to save one single soul would undoubtedly be much happier and friendlier than any employee I have EVER come into contact with at this store! Not to mention that this store is the least organized and the lowest trained store of any of the locations throughout the United States!

I mean what can I say it's a Walmart super center. I can say this though. The staff are willing to help if you ask. I've never gotten attitude even when they are busy. And they try to keep the shelves stocked at this location, you can tell. Because they seem to be packed all the time but have consistent stock on most everything.

This is my favorite Walmart in Wichita, You can quite literally find anything here (almost anything). The only downside of this location is that it’s always kind of crowded but this also depends on the time you go. The clearance section is always the most fun to go to, it’s a hit or miss. Sometimes you find cool things and sometimes you don’t. This location is also quite big, i’m not sure if it’s the biggest in Wichita but it’s the biggest i’ve visited so far

Not much to tell, picked up a script, bought some dog food and some munchies. Will say that script wasn't supposed to be ready for a couple days yet they had it filled for me in about 10 minutes. Very cool

22 self check out registers, and only 2 will take cash. This is the laziest Wal mart employees I have ever seen ANYWHERE!!! I can't believe they are still open, to be honest. You would be better off driving across town than trying ur luck at this one. #DISGRACE

Do not I do repeat (DO NOT) GO TO WALMART ON PAWNEE AND BROADWAY TO DO AN OIL CHANGE I TOOK MY YUKON XL THERE TO GET MY OIL CHANGED I TOOK MY TRUCK TO MY MECHANIC TO SEE WHY IT WAS MAKING A TICKING NOISE AND IT WAS BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE NO OIL IN MY TRUCK AT ALL I MADE MY MECHANIC CHECK IT INFRONT OF ME TO BE SURE I HAVE NO OIL LEAKS OR ANYTHING I ASKED ABOUT THAT AS WELL NO LEAKS IF YOU ARE A WOMAN TO BE SPECIFIC DONT GO UNLESS YOUR STANDING OUTSIDE BY THE FENCE WATCHING THEM BECAUSE THEY DO DIRTY BUSINESS! I have came to this location twice for the past two days trying to get my tires done. On the first day they claimed that they only have one person for tires and that I could come back in the morning which is today. Won't call him by name but the front end coach needs a job without people. Standing under the Walmart Plus Members sign that just went up you acted like a hall monitor. Not even a hey Hello sir, I'm sorry but we are currently repurposing*** just hey are you with insta? no.. Need batteries or tobacco? no then you need go over there and find a register. but this one says walmart +... cut off.. it's notI got at him after I checked out and all he did was seem fully uninterested in me and more interested in the tall girl working self checkout.Shame dude I got let go at Walmart for much less. Better fix your attitude. Come to the conclusion IF I was a woman he would've let me go based on his actions.So why am I paying extra for Walmart + When your giving better perks to people getting paid to shop? Like do you not realize that I'm your actual customer???

With people daring to steal bags from shopping carts while women are putting their baby in the car, along with the other general crime of society, I feel safer at work (in a prison) than I do shopping at any Walmart. At least sometimes they do have local police there, but I don't plan on putting my life on the line, assuming someone else will save it. It is sad that there are so many dishonest people put there, and to that person who stole a bag, only to find baby stuff in it (diapers, formula, etc), you could have at least turned it j to Cuatomer Service as a bag found left in a shopping cart, and it would have been appreciated. So much for the wonderful cameras at Walmart, may as well be looking at the moon through a homemade telescope.

Pretty sure I got pickpocketed here (Oct/Nov 23)Today as i was finishing loading groceries and a passenger at around 3 on dec3/2023 had a crat pusher park 20 or so carts directly in front of my truck before driving off with another 20or so on the cart-mule are you even training your staff anymore

Self checkout socks staffs just stands around gossiping not paying attention to customers. My register was beeping like crazy they never responded. The employees would rather stand around talking and laughing with each other while customers do there job and employees get a paycheck for doing nothing.

I order my groceries for pickup and have not had a bad experience yet. The items are always fresh and I get what I ordered. If any items are not available they make me aware of substitutions and/or other options to pick from. The staff typically greet me, load my groceries within 5-10 minutes of arrival and have always been friendly.
