I will have to agree with the people that state that it seems to be more of a business than a caring vet. I will say most of the staff is very nice, however, Dr. Sherry Ibrahim, is very condescending and attempts to make you feel that you are a stupid and uncaring pet parent. We have now seen her twice and both visits came nowhere close to the exceptional service we got while Dr. Melanie Summers was on staff. I feel at this point we have to look elsewhere to find a vet that may have a better “bedside manner”.

I don’t have enough words to express the gratitude I have for Prairie Ridge Animal Hospital! They are a phenomenal clinic and team!!!We had to rush my sweet baby boy in on Saturday afternoon 1hr before they closed as an emergency, they did not hesitate to jump into action and take us in! They had to hospitalize him overnight and Sunday they rushed him into surgery. They SAVED his life, and for that I will forever be grateful ❤️Thank you so much to PRAH and their amazing dedicated team! You guys are AMAZING❤️

Thank you for getting us in fast. When your 19yr old cat vomits 30 times overnight it's hard not to fear the worst. They got us in fast and treated Josh with excellent care and love. He is doing so much better now. His doggy sister insisted on coming inside even knowing it was the vet. She tried to push out of the car when we were unloading. Safe to say my animals like and trust Prarie Ridge as much as I do.

When we found out our boston terrier was pregnant it was a surprise. And in case you didn't know very worrisome. So we made alot of calls to alot of vets trying to help for her! We were met with outrageous costs and outrageous attitudes. We felt helpless that nobody cared about us or our sweet girl! That is until we called Countryside in Andover who kindly referred us here! We finally felt like someone cared about us and our dog and puppies! The cost was by far the most reasonable so far and we finally had peace of mind! Everything went well until momma killed a baby a few days later. But we are so grateful that prairie ridge was already checking up on mom and babies so we were able to talk with them on how to save the other pup! They've been a light in a very long and dark tunnel! Highly recommend if you love your fur babies to go here!

Everyone at Prairie Ridge has been wonderful. They take great care of us, they’re incredibly thorough, they’re kind, they’re patient, they communicate everything effectively, and I appreciate how dedicated they are to following up after we’ve been by. Dr. Streiff and Rob stayed after hours to run emergency tests for my dog on our very first visit, and I felt completely confident bringing her back for continued care with this team.

I had such a great experience here. Dr. Summers and the nurse that assisted her did such a good job with my rabbit. My bunny is usually very nervous and jumpy at the vet but they did such a great job with her and kept her calm. I was so pleased to find a vet that is skilled with rabbits as they are a bit tricky sometimes health wise. I can't wait to tell my friends that own rabbits as well about Dr. Summers!

This place is more of a business than it is a clinic. After I heard a lot of good things about this place, I must say I was very disappointed and wont be back. While the staff is nice and the clinic has a nice warm atmosphere, the doctors are very pushy trying to sell things. They gave my dogs a lot of unnecessary vaccinations that I did not even ask for. One of my dogs is very protective of me when i am in the same room, so they took her to a back room for the vaccination(s) and exam, which was fine with me. Normally that's a 2 -5 min deal, but after 20 min my dog was still not back there and I started to worry if she bit someone or something else happened. They finally bring her back and say that they tried to get a fecal sample out of her but she did not want to...so on top of the vaccinations i did not ask for they tried to charge me for a fecal sample, too...my dog is on all parasite preventatives there are, and I would also like to be asked if I want to submit my dog's fecal sample. Thank god my girl has her poopy schedule and was not able to give them the sample which would have resulted in another unauthorized charge. All in all, not happy. Too shady. Steep prices, too.

Prairie Ridge is the best! They have created such a good environment that makes you feel like part of the family. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else! They have always been so helpful and honest when it's come to our pet's care. We have been going there pretty much since Dr. Summers opened the place and she has done such an amazing job building the clinic to where it is today. I couldn't recommend them more!

Prairie Ridge was amazing! They were able to fit us in yesterday unexpectedly for an emergency and took care of my dog so well! They didnt leave any boxes unchecked when caring for him/ figuring out if anything else was wrong. The staff was all super sweet and helpful, on top of that we received a call this morning to check on how he was doing and to remind us the instructions of his medication as well as telling us what to look out for, ive never had a veterinary place do that! 12/10 for everything!

The staff here are wonderful. The best customer service that I have ever had at a veterinarians office to be exact. The doctors and staff all listen and include me in any decision for my two pups. The office is clean and organized and have top of the line technology. One thing I really like is their effective communication when it comes to making sure my pups get all their preventative medications on time and their check ups. When I already have a hectic schedule with life and kids and work it's nice to make sure my pets are getting what they need on time as well and the staff here make sure that happens. You guys are awesome!!!

I always enjoy my visits at Prairie Ridge! The staff is so friendly and wonderful and they genuinely seem to love seeing my dogs. Dr. Summers is a top notch doctor with a plethora of knowledge of any subject we have come across together. She never makes me feel rushed or that she is not available to me and my furry babes! I have been going there for years and have never had a bad experience with any person I come into contact with. I highly recommend this office from simple checkups to skilled surgery! Dr. Summers is the best!!

I had 2 visits and both times felt like it was more about making money than caring for my pets. One was during their regular visit. They were trying to upsell me so many things…extra vaccines, boosters, wanting 6 month visits instead of yearly, dental cleanings, subscription to their dog park. The second was right before my 3 year old pup died. He was a patient there and I called to get him urgently checked out in the middle of the day. They said they had no appts unless I wanted to pay an emergency fee. So, do you have an opening or not? Then, I had to let them know right away, because after 4pm, the rate went up more. Thankfully, I’ve found a very caring vet clinic who not only took very good care of my seriously ill dog, who was not their patient, on a moment’s notice, but I just got back from a checkup with my other dog and they assured me that so many of the things they said my dog needed last year were unnecessary.

Everyone is very friendly and they take great care of your pet. A little pricey, but the service is wonderful. The only thing I really didn't like was the pushing of certain shots and flea and tick meds. I am capable of getting some of these necessary things at Tractor Supply and doing it myself. Otherwise very happy.

We love Dr. Summers and how she is so personal with our dog. She and her staff always remember who we are and Care for Bailey as they would their own pet. Grooming is a breeze to set up as well as other appointments. We are excited that we've been with Dr. Summers through her first opening of Prairie Ridge Animal Hospital and now her new building. Highly recommend!

I took reina on 11/17/20 because she had unusual discharge and i was extremely worried. They called me at 8am after setting an appointment online the night before. I got her in as a new patient to at this animal hospital and she was in surgery within an hour of me being there. I was greeted by a staff and vet tech that seemed to actually love and care for my dog and me. Honestly i could not be happier. The doctor let me know everything and made me know she will be 100% fine. Reina is back in my home and she is doing so good as of 11/18. They called me to update me on the procedure and letting me know how she is doing. They gave me a tour of the place and if i could do it all over again i would choose prairie ridge again. They handled all my worries quickly. They let me know how much it would be and gave me everything i needed to know. This will be where shes coming back to again. So i highly recommend this place.

I feel very blessed to have found these guys! I just moved here from California and it's really hard to find a place that will see birds let alone like them and handle them in a loving kind way! Since the first time we brought our Green Cheek Conure Midori to see Dr. Summer, I bring all 4 of my babies here! I KNOW they love and handle them with the same care in the treatment room as they do with me standing there! That goes for ALL THE STAFF! a special thank you to Dr Summer, Donna, and Gracen! Dr Summers and her staff go above and beyond. Prairie Ridge has cared for several of our pets and other family members pets. Priority is always to make the pet feel comfortable so they are not traumatized and they think of every detail.They are incredibly thorough and stay on top of your pets healthcare. Dr Summers is a very busy woman but she never rushes and takes the time to answer all questions. Prairie Ridge not only cares about your pet they care about your entire family. We had a 16 year old dog who was in her last days. Dr Summers personally called us every day to see what she could do to make her comfortable. When the time came to put her to rest Dr Summers took us right in there was no waiting for an appointment. They had a room waiting with a pillow on the floor and Dr Summers sat on the floor with us. It was handled with such compassion so our pet was not scared. I highly recommend Prairie Ridge.

I could not ask for a better team to save my dogs life. From the office front staff to the vets and vet techs I am forever grateful. They removed a large cancer mass from my dogs abdomen and she is a few weeks post op and doing very well. If you are looking for a great team to take care of your fur babies…. Choose this place!!!!

We loved our boarding experience with Prairie Ridge! They give the dogs plenty of time to play outside during the day rather than having to be cooped up in a kennel all day long. It was so nice to get a photo of our dog each day so we could see she was having fun and enjoying herself. It is evident that the folks at Prairie Ridge actually care about animals and their wellbeing and happiness, as opposed to some kennels who are just out there to get your money and charge extra for all sorts of amenities. Here, those amenities are included because they know it’s what’s best for the puppies and that shouldn’t be an extra expense. All of the staff members we met were friendly and we especially loved Bethany, who was so kind to us on the phone and in-person and helped explain everything included. Dr. Bruce is wonderful as well!! We love you all!
