I just adopted my boy Colt a few nights ago. Our family loves him so dearly already. As another review stated I was told by many people to avoid petland like the plague but, the staff was so helpful and absolutely amazing. Even taking their time to make sure we were all happy and taken care despite getting ready to close. I’m sorry to the staff that I can’t remember their names but but shout out to all of you and Becky! You all were so great, kind, caring, very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for introducing us to the newest part of our family!

Recently purchased a bird from the store owner. She was amazing to work with, knowledgable, and great at keeping in contact (in fact would reach out first most of the time)! The bird was a baby and she would keep me updated on the progress of how he was doing and the ETA of when he could come home. He finally came home and he is the gentlest most well behaved birds I have had. I had shopped in person at many stores in Wichita before deciding to business with her and that was due to the owner not just wanting to make money. You can see she genuinely cares about these animals. In the future this is who I will recommend and will be going back to.

This is my experience. I got an English Bulldog from here in 2020. The first couple of days we had him he was in the vet staying overnights because he had pneumonia and was on the brink of death. I was sold a very sick dog. That first week we had him cost us $1,000 in vet fees plus the $5,000 purchase price for him. His name was Kane. Kane struggled with many health issues the first year we had him, he got better the second year, then we had to put him to sleep last weekend because he had a tumor in his trachea and he could not breathe. There has been nothing but huge costs and heart break from this purchase. I would never buy from here again. I question the ethical and moral practices of this place especially when it comes to the breeder they purchased Kane from. It's been a very sad situation and I don't wish this on any other dog or owner.

The staff is extremely rude, saying it has to be “reservation only” to see a puppy I want to buy. Y’all just missed out on an extra $3k-$5k. Just because you have a “rare” breed doesn’t mean you deserve to act as stuck up as they do. The other Petland in town let me see two different pups before I even asked about pricing. The west store sucks in comparison.

Be prepared to give them your phone number and driver's license as well as be required to buy (was going to use debt notes) food product for your hamster to lengthen the guarantee of life from 24 hours to 7 days or walk out like I did. Weird folks. Stay away.

Well aginst what I was told I adopted Maya Lynn here. I met her and fell completely in love. I feel like these puppies need homes too. Did I pay too much? Probably. But... the love of a puppy whether adopted or purchased knows no monetary value. Love is love. She is our Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier Maya Lynn and we love her to the moon and back.

We got our little pup Maggie from them! She was very anxious being in the booth so we visited her about two times before finally decided to bring her home with us! The sale associates we worked with (I can't remember names but one was a blonde girl with short hair and another girl who liked kpop ) anyways Maggie is doing well and has opened up so much since. We where worried about her at first but we are so excited to see her growth! Thank you guys!!!Ps. We also got to meet the person who brings the puppies in and that was super nice!

We spent too much money, but our purchase was priceless! The puppies are adorable, but after investigation we found out they came from a puppy mill in Indiana! Everything was a lie! Not happy! Paid 1600.00 for a 500.00 dog!

My wife and I have always enjoyed Petland stores. They feel like what pet stores used to be, where they actually had pets in them. Who doesn't like petting the rabbits and playing with the ferrets. The animal interactions are encouraged by the helpful staff. As a parrot owner we were pleased with the food and toy selection. The birds they had for sale seemed exceptionally tame for young birds. You could tell a lot of time had been spent with them.

Awesome pet store! They have many varieties of pets ranging from pugs to parakeets. Also, in the back there are bearded dragons and cool looking fish. If you are in the area, I recommend checking this place out.

Do not apply for any card in this store. They applied for a card. They told me that it was a year without interest. The bank charged me interest from the first month. I went to complain to the store and they told me that they do not give that promotion. I feel cheated by this. people

Nice clean store. Well stocked, NO odor! One downside, no information at all any of the puppy's cages. Made it impossible to find out even what the breed was without talking to staff, which we're swamped that day.

Went to just look at puppies and almost went home with one! I love how they have all documentation for every pup and how clean it is there. Very playful puppies and it was so hard to leave. Almost went home with a puppy but couldnt afford it even with assistance. But we will come back for our lovable puppy we saw!

I absolutely love coming to the west location! I don't get swamped by salespeople handing me cute puppies. The manager is a genuine sweetheart who loves animals and the community. She is an encyclopedia of knowledge and a visit with her, and you'll walk away smarter and a better pet owner. The staff is first rate.

Puppy Mill puppies. You people paying for your overpriced puppies, look up what their mothers have to endure. Bred until they cannot breed no more, in horrific conditions, then thrown away like trash. Look at how they are treated. The Amish run some of the worst puppy mills in the United States. If you purchase anything from these people, I hope you can sleep well at night knowing that you support animal abuse! Shame on anyone who steps foot inside this place!Hobby Breeders???Just say Puppy Mills. Quit sugarcoating the abuse the breeder dogs go thru!

I got My forever fur friend here. My puppy is healthy, sweet and calm. The employees were so nice, helpful and personable. I’m so thankful I stopped by and got my puppy here. The store is clean and well kept. They partner with Companion Animal hospital and they have been great as well!
