Great place and the employees are very friendly and helpful. If you have never been to a Menards, you are missing out. Where else can you go to get hardware, paint, plumbing, building materials, soap, pet supplies, clothing, automotive,cleaning supplies, tools, and don’t forget the milk.Look forward to going here every time we are in Wichita.

I'll start with the store was in great shape. Clean organized and all around nice store. Now for why only a 2 star review. There was a lady employee by the name of Gerri that was unfortunately not very kind. I'd like to call her a name that's fitting but as this is online I'll refrain from being vulgar. Gerri was extremely rude and off putting to my father during his attempt to return an item. Instead of being helpful in the slightest way she told my dad to look up his own receipt and just was not very kind. And mind you my father had explained he was just out of the hospital and his mind was a bit foggy due to his health. He's got cancer and other issues that any compassionate decent person would've been happy to assist him, but not Gerri. So while I had no problem with anyone or anything else at your store I feel like Gerri shouldn't be allowed around customers at the based of she is still allowed to work there even.

Great home improvement store if you are out in the far Northwest corner of Wichita, at Maize and 37th North. Huge place with plenty of variety and fair prices. Personally, I’m not a fan of the mail-in rebate system here which is a huge part of their ad items, but there are good sales to be found that don’t require mailing anything. This location is much more accessible than the East side spot, and has a variety of other great shopping centers south of the store which can make the trip worthwhile. I’ve found good home supplies and lumber here, as well as fairly priced pet supplies and outdoor needs. Halloween yard decor is out now too which is awesome to see. I can recommend the west Mernards.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT NEEDS A COMBUSTIONABLE LIQUID to operate from this place. If it's defective they send you to a repair shop where it sits for days before they can even look at it. I learned the hard way. Stick with Lowes and Home Depot. Better customer service to be sure. The very young manager was disrespectful. I've never had a worse customer service response. Basically good luck, we can't help you on your $380 purchase.

Buyer beware! The stores are not connected and will not honor purchases from store to store. Recently did a large renovation on my kitchen.was recommended to use cabinets from menards. the specialist was Great to work with really took his time and helping us design the kitchen and order the proper cabinets.the cabinets took a week to show up the kid. That delivered the cabinets didn't check the entire invoice or for inventory. The shipment.we had a busted cabinet base and we had several missing drawer faces in drawers.When I went to the closest store to return one of the cabinets I was told that I could not return the cabinet where I could not deal with t. Missing items because I purchased a different store in was turned away. AFTER SPENDING $10K ON MY KITCHEN RENOVATION THIS ISNT ACCEPTABLE. LOWES WOULD NEVER TURN ME AWAY!

We made a large purchase on 10/16/23. When making the purchase we were informed that our items had to be shipped and that all items were in the Wichita warehouse and would be arriving 10/21/23. 2 of the 4 items arrived on time. I know shipping delays happen- I did not call to see the status on the order until 10/24/23 to give them time to figure out where the items were. When calling I spoke to someone and they advised that it hasn't even shipped yet and it was coming from DC. They advised that they would have a supervisor call me with an ETA. I never received a call from anyone. I called back on 10/25/23 they advised that it should arrive that day or the next morning. The items didn't arrive until 11/1/23. We were not offered any compensation for the shipping delays and still haven't heard anything about our 11% rebate we sent in and will probably never receive. I've mailed in several and have never received them.

Had 9 keys made all came out wrong. They charged me 50$ and then the manager gave me a 800 number to call for help. I will not be returning to Menards.👎🏻

They messed up my special order and still charged 25% restocking fee. Do not recommend shopping here ever. They are thieves, plain and simple.REPLY: You can have a five star review by honoring my return and not stealing $128 from me! I spoke with the GM and he told me it was my fault! I trusted they did their job, but because I didn't catch their error, they are stealing from me. Its so gross. Never mind I’m a single widowed mother who is on a limited income. It was perfectly okay with him to take my money. Its so disgusting to be treated in such a cold manner. THIS is whats wrong with the world… people treating other people like they are garbage.

Bait and Switch sign says 30 percent off guess what not on this Minion Decoration Fraud plain and simple Employe says it was on Sale but it rang up regular price Manager said it was not a Christmas Decoration Lol It is Minion holding a Candy Cane Menards is Using Bait and Switch pretty obvious well they just lost 1000s of dollars on the Future purchases from me. RIDICULOUS

Younger employee in the back siding area didn't act like there was much he could help us with on our questions about fireplace mantels, however, Brandy in the tile and flooring went above and beyond with exceptional service to try to help us. Was not impressed with the service we got. Was looking for a washer and dryer and stood around for about 15 minutes and we had to ask for help as multiple employees kept walking past. When we were trying to compare them the person just took the paper off the top and sat it down to the other one. They weren’t helpful at all. Didn’t know the products. Was just trying to talk us into the most expensive one but didn’t have anything to back it up. When I asked about what the warranty covered they got rude with us. Will not be going back and took my money else where.

Mark in hardware was a lot of help. He did not hesitate for a split second to help me and my fiancée with the questions we had. We came back later that day and when we had trouble with the project we were working on we went up to the front and asked for Mark specifically cause we knew he was reliable. It also helped we have the same first name so I was able to remember it lol. Top tier employee that one is, I commend you sir!

24 hour self serve propane tank exchange out front, between the store entrance and exit.The customer service at this location has consistently been excellent. Very helpful and courteous. The store itself is very well kept, clean and organized. Easy access and plenty of parking.After many trips, I've not yet had any issues with low or out of stock items. Customer service is still excellent.

Rebate program is very nice. You can get money back on a total rebate purchase. Organization a little wonky. Variety of items. Some stuff not made well. Definitely go for rebate program. Great selection of dog treats. 🐕

This was my first visit to Menards. Wow, what a beautiful store. The gentleman helping me in the appliance department was kind, knowledgeable and very helpful.Now, why I didn't make the purchase intended.I was told 109. For delivery. 👌🏽. That's cool. Then when reaching the delivery counter, I was told add $29 for gas charge and an added $20 to walk it from the truck to the house.This was not the salesman fault but it angered me so, I told him to cancel everything. I'm sure this hurt his commission, but that was unexceptable.Ended up finding a better deal at Home Depot and they don't charge for delivery. WIN WIN

Their online details about shipping are way off. They lie about arrival. I specifically told them a month ago that it still showed an arrival time of 10 days when its on back order and it will be 2 months. They haven’t changed it and continue to lie to get your money when they full and well know you will not get the item for a long time. So do not believe any arrival times on any order. Maybe you get it on time and maybe you wait 2 months.

My wife and I just renovated an old house we did most of our purchase at home Depot but couldn't find our kitchen cabinets the wife found them at Menards with 11 percent discount BUT the only way to get the discount is in store refund NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN

Usually have a decent experience but they mess up the online orders almost every time. They put zero effort into making sure you get the right stuff. Also, we recently went in for hot tub chemicals that the website said they had in stock but when we went to the store we were very rudely told “it’s not the season for that so we won’t have them until summer” it’s February and I’m sorry but I’m not waiting until summer (when it’s hot) to enjoy my hot tub. Just admit you messed up and say it comes with the pool stuff. I was so shocked that they treated us as if WE were wrong. We ordered it online since it was in stock; got a text that the order was ready for pickup along with a voicemail saying “it’s not actually off the pallet yet so don’t come get it for a few more days” Seriously?

I had to give a 5 star review after having Tim B at Menards west help us with our patio project. We are so happy we ran into him, and he asked us how we were doing. It was the best customer service and help we have ever received. He was knowledgeable and highly efficient at helping us. He worked with us even two minutes after close- we didn’t realize the time. We will be life-long returning customers because of the experience provided by Tim. B. He deserves a raise!! This guy is awesome. Beyond impressed. We love Menards. Great team.

One star is a grandiose gift. They deserve no stars to be honest.Sadly, the management at this location has no qualms about taking the money from one customer for a special order then instead of holding that item upon arrival for that customer they go ahead and re-sell that item and leave the original customer to deal with the fallout. I can not in good conscious recommend this location to anyone.

I honestly love menards and their prices but i’ve come here time and time again for a year and the customer service is so poor. This doesn’t speak for all employees, but at least 80% of them.

I have a love-hate relationship with this store. The employees are generally nice and the items they have are of good variety and quality. I come here monthly to buy dog food. Decent price compared to the pet store.The negative:1) Don't get hooked on their canned pet foods. They don't order more and your out of luck because they may not order it again. This just happened with their Mighty Dog canned food. An associate informed me they got a rebate deal to supply it and they will not order it again. I looked at other canned pet food and it is priced rather higher and the selection is low.2) No pets are allowed. Yet they have a large pet care selection. This makes no sense as Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, Woodward, and even Bed Bath and Beyond allow pets.3) During covid, they had discriminated against single parents because no children under 16 were allowed in the store. I had to hire a babysitter just to go in because the items I needed were not a curbside option. I was rather upset.I would support Menards more because it is a good store but whomever the suite is making all these ridiculous rules needs a reality check.

Horrible customer service. Bought a car battery from them it was clearly under warranty, and they denied it due to not having the receipt. I even showed them the bank statement and they didn’t care and said that it proved nothing. Managers Justin and Stephanie are very unprofessional and indifferent. Justin also threatened to trespass me as well. So after all of this my 6yr old son and I changed the battery in a dark parking lot, and were having trouble doing so. All the managers hopped in their cars and clearly seen us and drove away, no help offered at allI! I will not be returning. Shame on this store and their horrible customer service.

They got more surplus than Carter got pills!And check out their scratch and dent areas I got a knotty alder door with frame for $149 probably a $400 door and I still haven’t found what is messed up on it!
