I love this place! They have so many fun things here for the garden and gardener. An eclectic variety of feeds and seeds to grow, not to mention seed potatoes. The shop also had some elephant garlic! They have a sampling of high-quality canned specialty foods and meat sticks like beef and elk that are hard to pass up! I got some cinnamon apple butter that is SO GOOD! The shop folk are always helpful and just super nice people. If you get something heavy they are happy to load for you. A great locally owned and operated small business!

Always a great visit! Wonderful customer service. Absolutely my favorite store for all of my gardening needs. We grow a huge garden every year. Their knowledgeable staff has helped us grow even more. 💯% recommend you stopping in to check it out for yourself. You can't beat their old school seed by the scoop prices. Great quality seeds. They have a little bit of everything. They also sell local products. The friendly Dobi is a nice addition!

Customer service was wonderful. Folks here are helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Lots of heirloom seeds at good prices. As well as everything you need to get your garden going.I will be going here a lot more.

I first started coming here for bulk bird seed & critter mix... They have SO much more than that! There's a beautiful selection of pottery and starter plants. Need potting soil, mulch, etc.? Got it! They have seeds and bulbs .. succulents.. tropical/ sub tropical! There's a wide range of food and gear for our four legged friends; I especially like the bulk dog snax...you can get whatever quantity you want!So to top all this off...the store is quite clean..neat..and organized. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly, willing to help you find what's ailing your lawn or what will help your garden grow! This is a hidden gem and if you've never been here, you owe it to yourself to check it out!

Great local shop and friendly owners. I come here about once a month to get dog food for my 4 canines companions. The princes can't be beat, even by petco and this is definitely closer if your on the south side.Great selection of plants during gardening season as well!!

We like getting all our bird seed supplies here as well as deer corn. They have a nice rewards program. They also have garden seeds and lots of pet care items including food!! The folks that work here are all very helpful and friendly!

My fav seed store in Wichita. If you love gardening, this is a must stop. I get great pumpkin spice butter, Baker Creek heirloom seeds, starter plants and chicken feed here for years. I 💕💕 this store. They sell the best strawberry selections. It's always in a neat small container already hardened or maybe it's just luck evertime i buy here. Everything i bought survived in my garden and have not found anything I can't grow from here. Kudos to the knowledgeable and friendly staff.

This is the ONLY seed and plant store in Wichita worth visiting. They bend over backward to take care of your needs. I live within walking distance of two plant stores that are on west 13th street, but I prefer the amazing service I receive at Hillside Feed and Seed. The people that work here are so nice and very helpful.. you can bring your dog in with a leash. They helped fit my dog for a harness.. I buy my bully sticks, pigs ears, etc from them. Lots of choices of pet foods. I just love this place in general. ❤️

Nice little store with lots of items, including seeds, plants, animal food, and more. Staff was friendly. I purchased a 25 pack of bare root strawberries, but only about ten were alive unfortunately. I would recommend buying seeds or potted plants instead.

Love this seed shop. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have so many cool things here, from seeds & plants to all the little fun things to make planting girly cute inside and outside. I discover more things every time I visit. One of my very favorite places to go! Seed variety is unbeatable for this area and plants are healthy. The staff is knowledgeable and always eager to help. Go here to get my rabbit food and yard supplies. Cheaper then walmart even. Also everyone in the store is friendly and super knowledgeable. Will recommend to everyone. Also wild bird and animal feed. Plus amazing plant selection 😍
