I used Gupton's for their vet services. They are significantly more affordable than my regular vet as well as professional and friendly. I had a neighborhood stray cat neutered. I recommend their services. I was also surprised to see the large variety of pet foods and supplies. I can't attest to their product prices, but they've been around forever. So, I would assume for good reason.

I called in to schedule a vet visit. The person on the phone was very rude, impatient, and unwilling to answer my questions. They became emotional (angry) and hung up the phone on me. He said it cost $75 non-refundable to talk to him on the phone. We will not be giving them any business and will tell those that we know the same. You will be treated much better at Kansas Spay and Neuter. Or really anywhere else.

The pet care center is great prices are a bit steep on things like collars, leashes and what not but the treats and bug prices are pretty reasonable.

So, I wanted a few cans of cat food that were in a case. I was buying a total of 36 cans of food of different flavors. I was told that she could not open that case of the particular flavor because there was not enough room on the shelf for the rest of the cans that were in the case. I commented that was ridiculous and the other store attendant said, yes you are ridiculous, referring to me, the customer. I found this to be rude and denying a customer 6 cans of a cat food flavor because there isn't enough room on the shelf is just an inability to adjust to a change. If the inventory throw you off, then mark the case with a sharpee that it is 1/2 a case!! I will never go back!!

Nice and friendly people who try their best to give all their customers great service. Despite being an old building, their dog wash is clean, well insulated, has all the amenities, and is reasonably priced. They do a good job with dog grooming and boarding, and have plenty of pet supplies and services available. We've been going to Guptons for many years and are thankful for their service.

I was on the hunt for some cold-weather gear for my dog and I found exactly what I needed and much more here! I was blown away by the great selection of pet supplies and accessories at Gupton. I have been with guptons for about 4 years now since my dog was a puppy and yesterday I was so disappointed at how I was treated trying to schedule my pup a vet appointment to be seen. I wasn’t aware of how popular walk in saturdays were until I went, which was fine but I decided to schedule him an appointment after waiting awhile just because I needed to get ready for work. I ask the lady working at the front desk of the vet clinic if we could get him scheduled and she pursues to tell me she doesn’t have anything until the 18th of October, it is now the 23rd of September, at this point I will just have to wait I loved guptons I really did not want to take him anywhere else like I’ve had to before, so then she says I actually don’t have availability until the 23rd of October. I’m like okay that’s fine. She pursues to tell me “you don’t want to take him back to Kutter Petcare?” (Her looking through my paper work trying to find every allegation to turn me away) I say no I didn’t like my experience there the last time I went. I found that very rude once she asked me that.? Anyways, she pursues to somewhat look like she finally wants to write him down to get scheduled and continues to say “you know the 23rd is a long time to get seen for a ingrown nail” keep in mind I am on the phone and the person I was on the phone with said “dang she was very rude about that” before I could even register what I was about to say and thought that was rude too so I just said nevermind and left the pager and left. I don’t even know if it’s a ingrown or what but I’ve been back twice trying to get him scheduled the first time she acted like the books being booked up would stop me from scheduling so told me to come for walk in saturday, did that it was packed okay cool, tried to schedule a actual appointment and basically got turned away. She just stared at me as she told me that was a long time to wait. So I just assumed she didn’t want to get him booked she was very aggy with the whole process giving me a vibe that made me uncomfortable and that she basically wanted me to go elsewhere so that’s what I will be doing and won’t be coming back. I am very disappointed because I loved guptons, ear cropping, vaccines, neutered, and buying products for the past 4 years will have to go elsewhere. Won’t be talking highly anymore.

Guptons has always been number one in ratings for me. I've seen them grow as a family, along with their business over many years. It felt good to go back for a visit with them. They have even been remodeling, and it certainly looks good! Almost done, I was told.If you haven't been, go back. All small businesses need our support. Guptons deserves that and more. ❤️😊

Recently had my male cat neutered here. First experience using this vet. Scheduling was easy and prices are below competitors in area. My boy recovered quickly and has a much better attitude now! I highly recommend Gumpton's Pet Care Center.

Since the pandemic favored massive companies like Walmart and Amazon I've been trying to shop smaller. I've come to this place here and there but usually picked convenience. And that means giving your info to sell for "rewards" that might make up for the higher prices. I will be going to Gupton from now on. The prices are good and they are locally owned. They have a bunch of new services since the last time I was there, which was admittedly a long tome ago. They do all kinds of boarding and have a vet. They don't have 90 brands of dog food but they carry what I use, and they have a selection of other products I use for my dogs, so they have everything my dogs need.I used to come here when I kept fish because they had a better selection than the larger chains. They don't have them anymore, but neither do I and the chain stores still have a paltry selection anyway.

We come from Colorado Springs, and this is our go to boarding facility while we are here. You can tell they love each and every animal that comes to stay. Would not go anywhere else. While our boys stay there they also groom them, and they do a marvelous job. It’s family owned and they make you feel like family too. Shelly Rogers

The staff there is absolutely amazing! They greet me and my dog by name and my dog loves them as well. I feel safe and comfortable with boarding my Bernese Mountain Dog there and they give me daily updates as requested. They feel like family, which is what i love the most!!! The first time we boarded our dog we discussed her feeding issues before making a reservation to make sure they could accommodate her needs. She has no thyroid function, is on special food and cannot be anywhere there is other food available because she will continue to eat due to her condition. They assured us they could handle it. We picked her up and was given several bags of her food because they had her in an area with other dogs’ food available. I talked to them, they were nice about everything and assured me that the staff had been told due to having different shifts. We tried again last weekend and she came home with 2 days of food in bags and about 4 pounds heavier than when we checked her in. She has joint issues and is now struggling to walk. I was hoping they could keep her in her kennel until she and everyone else was fed but guess they couldn’t. We won’t return because this is hard on her. IF you have a dog with any special diet just don’t go. They free feed their food so just be aware before going. If you have a dog without any food issues they are great, but they cannot handle any special instructions.

My fur babies and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and all the employees! The Doc is awesome , down to earth , and straightforward and excellent with my girls! I have been coming here for about a year and a half and the staff here is friendly knowledgeable and treat us like family! Cammi is always quick to help with suggestions and ideas for my babies and really has helped me! They have excellent products for your animals and are extremely helpful in picking the best things for your animals and their personalities! To carrying out large purchases, answering questions about anything and everything, to nail trims and outfits choices , or behavioral issues they have gone above and beyond for the animals and their owners! I recommend this vet to anyone who has a fur baby.
