Nice store when you need something quick in a hurry. They always have holiday deals around any holiday. Only downfall is this is not a dollar store and some products cost more than any other stores and other stuff you can get for great prices. I feel like it could be a little cleaner inside as well. If you need something fast though it's worth the stop.

Store looks like a hurricane hit it. Would benefit from a deep cleaning. Waited in line for 15 minutes while the employees waited on each other. They took their sweet time setting up a new debit card at the register. I thought it was another customer until she got her receipt and traded places with the girl at the register.

I gave them five stars because that's how I roll. They usually have what I need at affordable prices especially when I don't feel like going to dillons or Wal-Mart with the masses or just need something quick like soap or bread. Nice little store and always well stocked. Staff are good.

This store typically does a really good job I just wish they would focus on checking people out as hard as they focused on putting product on shelves.There was a total of four or five employees in the store but only one person checking people out and 6 people waiting in line

Was not greeted never am when I walk in there and I'm in there 3-5times a week. I always have to look for someone to check me out and one time the store manager saw me standing at register and said hmm walked off and someone else came to check me out. A simple "hi I'll get someone to help you". Would have been nice.

Is this store understaffed? I bought a flower pot 2 weeks ago at another store & would like another one just like it. I stopped at several stores yet I haven't been able to find one like it. I stopped by this store last week & the flower pots weren't even out yet. I stopped by Monday and the flower pots were in but still on cart in boxes. Stopped in again today (Wednesday) and the flower pots are still sitting in boxes on the cart along with even more carts full of items still in boxes waiting to be pot on shelves!

Security needing to apply here. I've witnessed so many drug addicts walk out on their tab. Bad location but a big money maker. For those who does pay. Their toilet paper is very cheap and the store is always clean!!

Excellent customer service. Cheap. Convenient. Friendly atmosphere. Shelves are always stocked. My only problem is, they ask for an ID every day, everytime I buy ciggerettes. Consider this. You may get in trouble for selling to a miner. You not need to take that chance. But if you know 100% that I am of age. And I carry my ID with me everytime I leave the house. And I get angered everytime you ask me if I have my ID. But you still make me pull it out before you even attempt to move in that direction to grab the cigarettes. Which is what my complaint really is all about. Its like you think to yourself "I dont have to grab them if he doesn't have his ID". Then you drop your arms and wait for me to pull it out. In the meantime you could have already gotten them out of the locked display. Here is what I have to say to you. No one will ever get fired for not entering in the exact birthday. Make one up. No one has ever been fired for selling to someone old enough. There is no law stating that you have to enter in my exact birthdate everytime. I dont expect you to remember it either, but find one you can remember and use it for when you are certain you are not selling to a miner

they had everything I needed they just didn't have the potting soil priced so I had to take it out the register and find out which one was which pepper is how much there's a much cleaner store than the one on Pawnee and Broadway

Walked n and it was hot!! The casher advised me the a/c unit had gone out, and had been out for some time.. I cldnt even shop due to the condition of the air quality. Location was not very clean. Picked up 2 items with a list of 20 items, I put the items down and walked out. I will never go back.

Went in for three items, all were very near the door and clerk helped me out since I was using a can and asthma was acting up. Always a quick friendly trip.

I rate this a 5 because its close and convenient but i don't shop here as first choice because they are over priced on sum stuff...usually crowded and very understaffed. Not fair for other employees to take the load. Typically very good customer service.

If you need something quick it usually the place I go. Good selection but don't let the dollar in the name fool you the prices are comparable to other stores.

I always get good service and the staff are Friendly. However, the aisles are narrow and there is always something blocking. This store needs better organization.

This store has alot to offer..they have so much stuff to offer that you cant hardly walk through the Isles that they are overflowing with merchandise. Maybe it's because they dont get as much sales as they should but then again that's probably because dillons and everything is rigt around the corner so i could see why it would be difficult..

the employees are so very helpful and kind.the store is one of the cleanest I have seen in Wichita in a while . everything was in its place and the prices and variety of products is amazing I encoure you to stop and check it out.

Amazing Customer service! The staff is always nice, respectful and courteous but it's a shame and it bothers me because despite the scorching temperatures inside the building due to the a/c unit being out of commission for the past month they still go to work and go above and beyond for their customers so I think I can speak for everyone when I request that Dollar Generals CEO Todd Vasos look into this matter and fix the A/C unit....it's to hot working in a smothering concrete heat box. His employees work to hard! I have been told countless times by employees that they requested maintenance repairs...nothing yet. The tech was supposed to assist last week ...still, nothing. Look into it please. In Kansas we take care of our people!!!

Trashed out store, cashier does not care what was going on or if anyone needed help. Asked my$20 to be broke down to 2 $10s and cashier said he needed a manager to open the drawer.I asked if he could get a manager to do it and he said no.Don't go here!!Unless you like being in filth

Friend and I went in, asked where the razors were, the lady working just glared at us.. then the guy at the register just threw our change back to our friend. The people here are rude, next time I'll take my business elsewhere. Good luck

Stopped by to pick up a few things for my daughter. Glad that is not the first general I go to. It was dirty, things on floor. If it was one area that would be understandable. It was the whole place

Found a few items, Dollar General liquid stain remover which maybe not carried at the Dollar General stores or at least the one in Haysville Ks where I live on Main Street. Christmas snowflake lights which were hung up in my picture window (away from my 3 cats & thieves-which sadly is becoming a problem in Haysville as well as other places). The store on 47th St near Broadway was a different layout but I found the items. A few groceries-beef gravy packet, powdered drink mixes, covered cat box, Kibbles and Bits Dog Food. I bought a small jug of Tidy Cat litter and I forget to remove the $1 coupon. She said that I had to bring all of my groceries back into the store for another receipt. Well I left, kept the coupon, it will be used at least before 2020.

Very friendly. Usually have what I want and tell me where to find it, if I ask. Dollar general in my neighborhood is my handy go to if I don't feel like the grocery store.

The staff is very friendly and a lot of fun. The only problem I have is the store is kinda dirty and crowded. But other then that I enjoy the staff very much.

PayPal says you can reload your account at Dollar general they gave me a barcode to use but both employees did not know how to do it. A new guy came in and said he wouldn't scan the barcode

Stocked well and the cashiers are prompt to check you out. They have specials clearance sales and more. Friendly staff to greet you as well.
