I took a friend there to get a new parakeet. John was an amazing help, very knowledgeable and had great advice. We were not rushed into any decisions. They recommended waiting to take her home so they could separate the bird from her siblings and make sure she would adjust and eat alone. She's just 2 months old. We went back today and brought her home! Angela and John were wonderful. I highly recommend Birds of Paradise! What an awesome experience, my friend is very happy.

I have been a customer for approximately 15 years. They take exceptional care of my Hahn's Macaw. I couldn't ask for a better bed & breakfast or grooming for my baby. Birds of Paradise is always #1 in my book. They enhance the well-being of my parrot's life. Each and every staff member provide extraordinary care, and they are all amazing! They have a great selection of food, cages, toys, and accessories, and the place is clean. I have left my parrot in their care numerous times while traveling, and his cage, toys, and accessories are kept clean every time. I always know my parrot is in incredible hands when I leave him with the caring staff at Birds of Paradise from Wall Seed Co. ❤️

Nancy trimmed up my "new to me" Parakeet and Parrotlet beak, wings and nails. She gave me lots of helpful hints and then a sales associate helped me select some good food and vitamins. The highlight was getting to play with the baby tiels! I'll definitely be back for trims and other shopping!!

This place is the best of the best when it comes to birds. You can learn so much from here. They also have tons of options for food, toys, and cages for your birds. You can also buy almost any bird from here: most of them hand fed! I've gotten my best friend from here and am currently waiting for another friend. I am so excited! I will ALWAYS recommend this place!

I should really add to my 5 star review and say that they are always so extremely helpful with my anxiety and questions. I inherited a budgie kinda and was so new to birds, they helped me out so much and eased all of my new bird mom anxiety. They also help my mom with everything too since she now has my bird Max. They also have the absolute best selection of toys, treats, cages, and honestly everything bird related. I only trust them for all things. 💜 they are the best in Kansas!!!

I have stopped at Birds of Paradise to get aquatinted with the types of birds they might have and supplies that they carry. I'm an older gal and learning things from Angela and her Crew all the time. Birds of paradise is amazing. They help and support you every step of the way. As a new parent of a feather baby, I had many questions and concerns regarding my baby and they were extremely helpful answering a my questions and helping me feel comfortable when things concerned me. My lil baby even had an accident and got hurt, and I rushed her to the Birds of Paradise where they took care of her and helped her and me feel better. This is the best place, hands down to buy a new feathered family member. I never want to go anywhere else!

A hidden gem. This is THE best place to get your new family pet, or as they’re called at BoP, your new “kid.” They also trim wings and have a Birdy Day Care with all the works. I would trust them with my own life! Nancy, John, Angela, and all the other employees and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure you and your “kid” feel at home and well-taken care of.

I found about half the employees here very helpful and informative. The other half didn't seem to want to be bothered.That being said, they have a great selection of new and used items and also have a sections of toys for your bird marked under $5.I will return to this store.

I bought my cockatiel here as a beginner with bird ownership and they have been so helpful and informative. I truly appreciated that the birds they raise are hand fed and relatively used to people. Not only can you puchase a bird here and all of its needs but they also trim wings, beaks, and claws. They even have very affordable "bed and breakfast" (boarding) for your bird for the times that you need a sitter. I once had an emergency with my tiel and was able to take her here for care. They fixed her up and gave me advice for supplies I would need and aftercare. Anything I have needed for my tiel, they have been there for us and it's been so comforting. I would recommend birds of paradise hands down, and will go nowhere else to purchase a bird.

Staff is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Have such a great selection of birds. I purchased a gray parrot back in the 90s. It was the best talker ever. Unfortunately I had to sell him. But if you want a bird for a pet this is the only place to go. Highly recommend.
