Shelf prices and ads frequently don’t ring up for the correct price at the register. I have to wait for a manager, show them the tag on the shelf, and then argue/defend the price discrepancy.

If the two regulars are working, expect zero to bare minimal service. No one is ever up front and I’ve seen elderly customers standing and waiting for 5-10 minutes for a cashier pretty much every time I’m there. The only way they’re able to get service is if they walk away from the counter and find an employee themselves. Unless it’s the younger employees I’m never greeted or even spoken to when I’m shopping.

Absolute laziness. There’s no help at the front now that they have self checkout for people with a lot more stuff or elderly who aren’t sure how to use it. I over heard a customer say “she’ll get mad if you call for you to help” like why be in customer service then.

Pretty good deals. Checkout is typically pretty fast. I love cruising the clearance aisle, clothes, and dollar aisle to see what they have. Only issue is that it is in slight disrepair on the inside. And the bathrooms aren't always super clean. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful though!

I love the layout of this store, everything is fairly priced, very convenient, staff is very kind and knowledgeable of product, and check-out is usually speedy, The store is kept very clean, as well as the restrooms and outside parking lot. Items are usually always stocked and available. Even better is when you can catch them during their sales. I would recommend anyone to the store.

Having a Dollar General Store in Wamego, Kansas an absolute must! I really feel for the employees who work there. Corporate needs to send out a survey about the Wamego store! There is an empty lot next to the building! I see no reason why corporate cannot make the Wamego store bigger. It is definitely a monumental need for this community! The isles are not wide enough, not enough room for supplies to be shelved, does not look neat and is very hard to see items on shelves! Way to much clutter! Hard to see things! Some shelving is way to close to the floor! Just today went there and had to bend and squat down to reach an item that was clear to the back of shelving! Cannot see what products are on the shelves when clear down on the floor! Not an enjoyable experience when shopping there! I think the Wamego store makes plenty of money and is always busy with customers. I have been in newer stores and they are so nice and have a very pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of room in the isles, products on shelves have room for items displayed, everything looks nice! A very enjoyable shopping experience in newer stores! Wamego store would bring in so much more money than it does now if it were bigger! Come on corporate come to Wamego, Kansas and see your store and give it an honest overview and see for yourselves that this community needs a bigger store! Wamego, Kansas needs a bigger store!

while most of the staff is pleasant, the store itself is in disarray. Items in the aisles, and racks blocking items on shelves. Its probably one of the dirtiest stores I've been in around here. While I was there yesterday there were picture frames all over the ground and I almost stepped on them because they were blocking the path.This isn't a new thing, this store has been like this for years.

Recently "remodeled/switched things around" only to have it just as cluttered and messy as before. Checking out? Give yourself at least an additional 20 mins wait time just to do so. Need more employees. However, the ones that are here, they're very pleasant. I just feel it needs better management. Something has to change.

This was the most unorganized store I have ever been in. The aisles were full of product and some on the floor not even on shelves. Place looked dirty when you tried to walk down the aisles. What a mess.

Dirty,always have carts sitting in the isles,can't get down them with your shopping carts,isles r too narrow. Need new management .or ? I don't shop there anymore than I have too for those reasons.sorry,it's just makes me angry everytime I shop there.

I most recently had a tune up and old change accompanied by transmission, radiator and differential fluids replacements. The difference in performance was super, and the quietness of running was quite noticable. The service was fast and friendly!

Always something on sale/ clearance. Kinda like a small Walmart, but cheaper prices. I like any of them for a quick shop for every day things. Can't find everything there but most things. And their brand is good in a pinch....

I always find the best readers (glasses) at Dollar General . Wamego has a nice store , helpful employees. The parking lot is confusing, but yes i shall return to shop again

I would give this a 5 but the store is over filled with products. The selection is great, staff is courteous and helpful. The only drawback is that the store is slightly undersized. I think they provide wamego with a great selection, just wish it bigger and less crowded

Trainwreck...plain and simple, it is evident by the store conditions that the manager nor the crew take pride in their store!! Dollar general needs to to spend MORE labor $ so their stores could be cleaned up and could hire managers that care about store appearance!!!

It's your typical dollar general. Place is always packed though and they seem under staffed sometimes. I prefer to go to the one in Alma but just because it's larger.

Nice Employees! Store needs a desperate upgrade. Automatic doors. Inside remodeling. And Outside. This store has been in wamego for years. But been neglected in upgrading.

It's a Dollar General in semi-rural Kansas. What more do you expect? However, the place is clean and the staff is friendly, so it's better than some Dollar Generals.

By far the worst dollar general I have been to. Very cluttered and filthy. The restroom was horrific. Monster energy drink cans (empty) everywhere in the men's room left my cart and went to gene's grocery down the road

For a dollar store, this is pretty good. A lot of the basic necessities on sale for cheap. Simple food items and home supplies, some toys.

Staff is friendly. Unfortunately though, people in wheelchairs and on walkers, can not shop there . It is impossible for them to get down the aisle!
