Super easy location. Clean cabin and super helpful & friendly folks running it! They were so kind to me and my 2 large dogs. It was all clean, safe and a wonderful experience. I will definitely be staying here again.Rooms: The cabin was clean and solid. Very cute!

This is a great park. Close to the highway and the noise is minimal. We had some crazy Kansas weather while we were there (as you can tell by the photo) and the park kept us informed of what we should expect and if there were tornado warnings etc. Made us feel much safer. If we are ever in that area again we would definitely stay with them.

Wonderful RV park right off of I-70. Although very close to the interstate we were not bothered by traffic noise. Sights are level and utilities well maintained.Hospitality is second to none as we were made to feel welcome.We stayed 2 nights in our 42 foot 5er and would not have had to disconnect our F250 had we chose not to.Thank you WaKeeney KOA for a delightful stay.

RV Access was easy off of highway 70 in either direction. Our site was long enough for the truck, trailer and plenty of room to spare. Our site was level, requiring no adjustment blocks side to side.Facilities were spotless clean and all staff (and owners) were friendly and made sure to meet all of our needs.The host/Owner Layton was very cordial and accommodating, picking up our propane tanks at our site, filled them and dropped them back off at our site with a smile. He met all of our expectations and beyond.We plan to return asap. Thanks again

Absolutely the cleaned KOA we’ve had the pleasure to stay at!!! The bathrooms were immaculate and for that matter the entire place was!!!The general store was well stacked and the staff super friendly.The on-site managers were delightful.Highly recommended as an I-70 overnight.

Stayed here passing through and what an awesome place. Everyone was extremely friendly, grounds were well manicured and very clean, pool area was immaculate with warm clean pool, laundry area was clean and bathrooms were top notch. Our young family of six stayed for 2 nights during our cross country drive and wow what a welcome respite it was from driving! My kiddos LOVED the pool. We spent the entire day lounging and enjoying the basketball court, corn hole, park, ice cream social, and of course, the swimming pool! We stayed in site 4 which was super accessible, complete with picnic table and full hookups. I was really happy with the cleanliness of the park in general including the laundry facility, bathrooms, grounds, and shop. The laundry facility was very well priced and very efficient. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming and obviously take pride in this campground. We would be happy to stay again if we are ever in the area again! Highly recommend!

I was delayed returning home because of the weather forecast and decided to try this KOA. They were so nice! They were engaged with their customers in creative and informative ways. Accommodating and a pleasure! It's a bit too close to home to be the first stop out unless there is a later in the day departure, but if that happens, this will be my place! Great people. :)

We don’t often stay in KOAs but this one was really great. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers were spacious with plenty of hot water. There is also a nice sized pool that was not heated but also very clean. We saw a cornhole area and a basketball court. We had plenty of room between sites. We were in site 12 with full hookups. Not much shade but we were just passing through just for one night. It is easy on/off the freeway and highway noise was negligible. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place for an overnight stop on our way through Kansas! The pull through site was large enough that we didn't have to unhook and it was perfectly level. Our dogs enjoyed the off-leash dog area...an added bonus for anywhere we stay.

Perfect overnight stop. Clean, neat. Ice cream social at 5:30 pm and breakfast at 8:00 am. Walked next door to the Brazen Bull for dinner. Great reasonably priced food options without unhooking. Just off I-70, but not loud. There is no sign at side street to come in (Hwy dept regs) so easy to miss.

This place is awesome the office help was so super nice as we had problems with our motorhomeThey helped us find a great diesel guy, we also spent two nights in a cabin while our motorhome was in for repairs. I would give them lots of stars awesome and clean cabins park restrooms showers and laudry. Thanks Sheri and Heather!!!!

We stop here every year on our way to and from Colorado. Well kept park, excellent pool area, and great staff. Park is clean and well attended. Showers and Laundry room are clean and well looked after as well. Gas Stations close by and easy exit and entrance onto I-70.

This is a great place to stay! The owners are so friendly and helpful. They make you feel very welcome. The park itself has large pull-throughs, with level gravel parking spots. There is a picnic table for each spot. We did not use the the laundry or shower facilities, but I’m sure they are as neat and clean as the rest of the park! We would definitely stay here again!

We love stopping at the Wakeeney KOA on our way through Kansas. Plenty of space, nice pool, close to restaurants (try the brazen bull) and their service is so great. They do an ice cream social on summer evenings and our kids always love it. The dog park is nice also! Great location. And very nice wide flat sites. Very big rig friendly. No maneuvering and hoping you don’t scrape something. Really good stopping place. As for the highway noise- we turned on the fan and that helped.
