It was a surprise in the room. It had nice beds and a big room. All the other hotels were booked. For a $50. It is worth it. The water pressure is enough to take your skin off. The shower head could be replaced it was built up with calcium.Rooms: Nice big rooms. They were clean and it is a queen bed.Safety: It felt like a safe place

The room hasn't been cleaned in years and when I said something they said priceline would give me my money back because all their rooms are the same way. I have photos of the room too. Cobwebs, dirt lines running down all walls. Microwave is dirty inside, two lights can't be used at all. Floors haven't been cleaned, dust everywhere. Smells soooo bad. Pillow cases smell like someone slept on them. No smoke detector, the please clean my bed linens card is sitting on the bed. We left and went somewhere else. This place should be shut down due to bio hazards.

I can understand outdated decor but the room was not kept up. It was hot and smelled of mold that went away after we turned on the AC. The pillows were flat and the bed was hard. The pool looked like a dumping ground for chairs and boards. The front staff was nice when I went to ask for bedding for the pull out bed and more towels since they only put two in for four people. The outside was also not kept up and was in disrepair. The photo looks good but once you get closer not so much.

Checked in and out in about 15 minutes. Lots of bugs in every corner of the room and red liquid spattered on the walls. Booked through Priceline so the owner told me he couldn't refund me, called Priceline and they said the owner did not cancel the reservation. Called the owner and asked him to cancel and he said he can't. Called Priceline back and explained everything again, they called the owner and he agreed to cancel and I was refunded. I have never asked for a refund for a motel room before and have done several road trips staying at cheap motels, but I wasn't going to sleep in this one. Could have gotten two stars if the owner didn't lie to me twice.

Nice clean room and clean beds, the room we had was very large. Pretty decent for a motel. Bathtub was faded but it’s an older motel, I wasn’t expecting new, if you keep that in mind it will exceed your expectations. Heater worked great. Inside of the motel is nicer than the outside.

We had a very positive experience at This Econo Lodge. Our room wasn't new by any means, but was extremely clean and tidy. All light fixtures and appliances worked perfectly and the bath tub was fully functional! You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into keeping the place nice. We were very grateful and found it a reasonably priced roadside stay!

Stayed here recently, got a room with a king size bed. The room was surprisingly large, had a sofa, and was clean. For those who smoke, smoking rooms are available so be sure and ask for one. There was some wear and tear on the doors that let the wind whistle in through some of the cracks near the bottom, but it wasn't a huge issue. Staff was also very friendly. Overall got a good night's sleep. If you're on the road and looking for a simple place to sleep and recuperate, this isn't a bad option.

If you want a clean place to stay look elsewhere. The staff apparently doesn't bother to clean the bathrooms at all. The tub/shower didn't look like it had ever been cleaned. As a guy I could overlook that, and probably not complain, look at the rest of the reviews I do for Google Maps, 98% of them will be positive because that's who I am. However I do not have anything positive to say about this place.When I checked into my room, I quickly brought in my bags, turned on the AC, gave a quick once over, noticed the room wasn't immaculate, but seemingly adequate. Then I left and went out with the rest of my crew for dinner. Had I taken an extra moment to thoroughly examine things I probably would've returned to the front desk and demanded my money back. Don't make this mistake yourself.First thing you notice is the carpet in the room probably only gets vacuumed once a week, or maybe once a month? It was horrendous. Don't take your shoes off and walk around unless you want dirty socks. The beds are not comfortable at all. The pillows did have a pillowcase on it, but it was a weird material and didn't stay cool at all. The sink area outside the bathroom was dirty like someone who had stayed before made coffee, spilt it all over and nobody bothered to clean it up. The bathroom itself was disgusting, like I said before the tub which was a white porcelain tub actually looked gray. The worst part of my stay here however was the toilet, when I went to use it I noticed a odd stain on the toilet seat, I got some tissue and wet it just to see if the stain would come off, and IT DID!!! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO CLEAN THE TOILETS MYSELF!!! Especially the fecal matter of the previous guest who had stayed in that room. Beyond disgusting. Beyond disappointing. Never again.I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here ever. I did document this with photos, so enjoy my misery in picture form, don't experience it yourself.

My friend and I had to drive to Hays Kansas to pick up a Vechicle. We live in Denver Colorado. We got a late start that evening and though we could just drive there and back! Wrong! We stopped at numerous hotels between hays and here. All hotels were occupied and we where exhausted! We finally found this econo lodge. I found it to be a slight blessing. I know....all we cared about was some where quite and fairly safe since it was me and another female on this trip. Considering the situation, I was in. He had about 5/8 rooms left tops and was able to accommodate our incredibly late check in with no reservations!We got room 202. A smoking room with 2 queens. The room was very large with a separated vanity shower area. The room was tidy. They could use new pillows though. Bedding was clean. Mini fridge and a microwave. A lot a lighting and plugs in this room. The tv is and led 44 inch mounted on the wall and in good condition. The eye appeal outside is Not here by any means, but when you just need to sleep and relax for about 8 to 12 hours? This will be just fine! Parking kinda sucks. Only a 2 handful of slots. The guy was very kind but a little slow checking us in. No big deal though. He made me laugh :) remember you are in WA Keeney Kansas. Not Palm Springs!Be Lucky there's a hotel here! I consider this a descent place to stay for the money. Any thing more than 60$ ask to see if they can give you a discount room/price.As an emergency moment. We are happy!

The room was disgusting. There were bugs flying everywhere, the shower leaked so the tub was covered in mold and the floor was coming up in several places. If I wasn't so exhausted from driving, I would have asked for a refund and left but I just needed a place to crash before I got back on the road. I definitely do not recommended staying here.

We stayed here for a clean bed and a shower on a long trip. For that purpose the hotel met our expectations, and provided a reasonable value. The photo on the link page of the pool is out of date. The current owners have converted the pool enclosure to a personal vegetable garden. The grounds are in need of major maintenance. I had no desire to walk around to unwind. But -- at an interstate exit motel, it's hard to expect more.The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was adequate.

Room was open, shower was updated and felt nice. Check in room was at least 90 degrees, smells weird, and musty. It is a bad first impression. I travel with my service dog and had issues checking in, they are not compliant with ADA, they were requiring paperwork which is not necessary.

The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms couldn't have been cleaner even at 10 in the evening you could still faintly smell the disinfectant. The only draw back was in our room, the tub didn't hold water

We just stayed here for two weeks while working near Quinter KS. The owners were the nicest people I have ever met at any hotel. They treated us like family. We were able to have our dogs stay with us for a fair charge. If you needed anything they were there right away. Of course some of the rooms needed to be updated but the owners did everything they could to fit your needs and make you feel comfortable. From what I heard they just took over this hotel not to long ago and already have made a lot of improvements. The entire time we stayed they were always working on some kind of project or improvement with the hotel which tells me a lot. Don't let past reviews keep you from staying here. They will treat you right and are very personable. During this hard time with the whole virus issue they were very perfessional about it, they wore gloves and masks, shut down the ice machine and shut down breakfast for everyone's safety,. They have washers and dryers which was very convient for us. My man works all day on the highway and we need to do laundry quite often. When we head back after the holiday weekend we will be staying there again. Great people

Good value. Clean rooms, if a bit Spartan. We had one queen size bed, a small table, and two good chairs. Microwave and a small fridge. Large mirror. Needle spray shower with adequate pressure and temperature. Non-smoking room did not smell like smoke. Friendly service. The lobby was decent size for the very simple breakfast provided. Nothing offensive here. Caveat: don't bother with the packet labeled "coffee". It is a beverage evocative of coffee. It is to coffee what Yoohoo is to chocolate milk.

If you're looking for a cheap place to spend the night on your cross-country trip, this motel is well worth it. There's nothing fancy here, but the 10% discount at the restaurant next door and the free breakfast saved us nearly half our room cost. It's not a lavish hotel. Set your expectations accordingly, and be as pleasantly surprised as we were.

Beds are hard like concrete, WiFi is terrible. We had one spare roll of toilet paper, but the roll on the holder had no sheets, so it wasn’t replaced after last tenant. The shower didn’t work, had to take a bath. The ceiling had water damage, it didn’t rain so idk if the cracks would have leaked. Spider webs on my pillow, one was new, but the other pillow was flat and smelly. As for amenities; no fitness area, no hot tub, no breakfast, not pet friendly, and WiFi is terrible...I said it once... I’m awarethe only benefit you get is being within walking distance of a truck stop restaurant combo, a convenience store subway combo and a bar and grill. If you pre book your room you save roughly 10 dollars. I’ll post pics later.

Customer service was "ok". Told me to initial things without going over them with me. Parking lot needs redone. Air- conditioner didn't work, had it fixed in 20 minutes though. Beds were comfortable.

Clean but needs a lot of updates! No breakfast food ready and what was there was prepackaged food. In town for a wedding, stayed 2 nights with reservations but needed to stay another day. They charged 20.00 + on top of the regular price for this. Won't stay at another one! !

Cleanliness was poor and so was the breakfast. We saw stains on the wall in the room and was told the roof was repaired but not all the painting was completed. The room smelled and was noisy at night.

The room was very spacious. It was a nice place to stop on our road trip. The breakfast was a little lacking compared to normal hotel breakfasts but other than that an overall good stay with friendly service.

Checked in. Got to our room, tv didn't work and toilet was disgusting! Had attendant come to the room to check tv and clean toilet. Tv doesn't work, toilet still disgusting! I requested my money back for both rooms I had reserved. The owner got loud with me. I told her if she continued, I'd call the police. She gave me my refund. This place is a dive! At 9:30 pm we're searching for 2 rooms. We found the Country Kansas Inn. Great staff, clean room, tv works!!! The place is old, but quaint. I'd stay here anytime. Would recommend to anyone!!! There's no restaurant at the Econolodge nor a bar! Rooms look NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES!

Offers breakfast. Has free WiFi, cable TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee maker. The rooms are spacious and clean. Fair motel at a fair price. Also has a washer and dryer which cost $2 per machine. Located next to 2 gas stations, a bar, McDonalds and Subway. All of which is in walking distance.

Pretty basic, pretty expensive when I was there ($95). Funky setup, windows on the wrong side of the room, can't see the parking lot. Breakfast? Where? It's a place to sleep, nothing much good to add. Desk clerk(s) rather rude.
