This place has got to be the biggest joke ever. They never have exactly what you need and what they do have is 2-10x mark up, ITS RIDICULOUS.If your computers are down. Don't give people an option to use their debit cards if you take the information but can't even calculate the tax. This place feels like a nightmare of a dream everytime I walk in.Just avoid all Westlake hardwares. You'll save more money for gas on the drive to lowes/menards/home depot. AND they'll have what you need at a quarter of the price. The fact this place is still up and running just shows that so many people will pay a premium for convenience.

I don't believe that I have had such fantastic customer service ever!!!from entering the front door , purchasing, and checking out !!! The manager helped me with all kinds of questions I had about purchasing my husband a weed blower. I wanted to compare a Stihl to an Ego and he bent over backwards to give me information about both without influencing me one way or the other. The knowledge he had was so impressive! He treated me like I was very important to him. He followed me through the whole process to the registers. That was another very appreciated time! Everyone was so friendly and courteous!!! I can NOT say enough good things about this store. All of the employees are knowledgable……….what a switch that is from so many places. Everyone visit the Ace Hardware on 29th Street-08314 and prepare for a worthwhile shopping experience!!!!!! They deserve 10 out of 10 stars. Sincerely, Gail Foster

Just love this place! I will always go here first before ever going to Menards, Lowes, Home Depot. Why? Because they have most everything, employees are well trained, truthful, go the extra step to help. It has kept what made the older stores so special and it is a true pleasure to go to this store. Throughout the decades, they've been so helpful and such lifesavers.

Great for nuts, bolts, odd fittings, plumbing materials, etc.Has seasonal, tools, garden, paint, and more. Staff tries, but not always available, or knowledgeable about products. Overall pleased with the store inventory.

I had purchased spray-on texture. Each of the cans stopped working with at least half of the contents left. I returned them. I've never had a store be so quick to take care of an issue as they did. They apologized for the products failure and immediately returned my money, IN A FRIENDLY manner! Thank you!

Ace IS THE Place!This has to be the best hardware store!I can remember going here with my "MacGyver" DIY dad as long as I can remember.I can always find what I'm looking for when I visit. Drake is always very helpful and personable at guest relations. He always treats every customer in the same way he would want his own grandma to be treated there.They have the biggest and best pet section. So many great products and nice variety.It's the only place I have found the necessary and sometimes rare household repair products. You can buy single nails, screws, and other fasteners from a huge and very organized selection.Thank you Ace for always being there for my everyday needs and being My Ace Place!

Great hardware store! You're always greeted by a clerk when you enter the store. The clerk's are very friendly, helpfull and always ready to help you find something. The store is well kept, shelves are always well stocked and the store is easy to navigate. Nice to have a neighborhood hardware to go to instead of a crowded box store.

Didn't have what I was looking for. Only one cashier of the 5 people, 3 cashiers and 2 managers, greeted me as I walked in, even though it was a loud and obnoxious hello as to make it know to one of the managers that she greeted someone. Prices are about 10% to 20% higher than the other 3 home improvement stores, not worth the (in)convenience or less of a drive. Passed by 3 other workers inside the store and not one greeted me or asked if I was finding what I needed. As I type this, I keep taking stars away. As I left, no one acknowledged the fact that I wasn't buying anything or asked if they could help find what I was looking for. Not even a look my way to see if I may have picked up anything and was leaving without paying. No telling how much product just walks out that door just off the lack of customer service. Ended up having to drive to Lowe's to purchase the item that I needed. Great reminder to just bypass this store and drive on over to 1 of the 3 big box home improvement stores just a couple of more miles north up the I-470 loop.

Terrible. Walked in looking for specialty automotive screws. Immediately asked for help in hardware. 15 minutes and no one came. Had to use wood screws that luckily worked okay. Went to checkout area and it was backed up 5 customers deep with 1 cashier. After 5 minutes in line they got a 2nd cashier. I frequent this business and have never seen this level of total incompetence before.

I went for miracle gro soil, saw their flower and plant selection outside and it was over. I left with a lot more than I planned. It was mother's day weekend too. I got flowers, succulents, military garden stones, and wasn't disappointed! So far all of mine are still alive lol. Here's hoping I keep them alive for a little while longer.Ace is my go to for anything dealing with garden and supplies needed to fix things at home. I can also get cat food and my favorite taffy. Doesn't hurt that I live 5 minutes away.

I loved this store. Until now. I bought a 449.00 lawnmower and asked them to deliver it using my Ace Rewards member program. I still don't have my lawnmower with no time in the future when they will deliver it. I called on Monday when they were supposed to deliver it and they said they would deliver it on Wed. Called today - and was put on hold repeatedly.

Great little hardware store! If you're sick of the big box hardware stores definitely give this place a try. Easier to navigate, fair prices, a good selection of name brand tools and real honest to goodness hardware. Also if you're hoping to talk to a real, knowledgeable, human person you are better off here than anywhere on Wanamaker.

These employees at this store were very rude and unprofessional. My wife went alone to the store asking for a bell light and a grow light. The employee who was busy carrying flowers became hostile and impatient with her saying they didn’t have the item. When my wife came to that same employees check out line with the stuff she had to find herself scanning each isle she just smirked. Where do they find these employees and how can you work in a hardware store and not know where the grow lights are. Never shop here

If you're looking for liquid hide glue, come here first. After visiting 4 other, larger, stores in my search for liquid hide glue, I finally found it here.The staff were very friendly and helpful, the store was laid out in an easy to understand way that helped me find what I was looking for quickly, and they had very reasonable prices.I'll make sure to stop here first the next time I'm looking for something lawn or home related.

Any Ace is my favorite hardware store. Always knowledgeable staff. Always have what I need, whether I'm fixing my well pump at my cabin or maintaining my home in the city. The commercial jingle is truth....Ace IS the place with the helpful hardware folks.I love that they carry Craftsman and other quality tools. And I often find what I need to repair older equipment or plumbing, with the various bits and bobs.

Always have what you need, but their prices are out of this world. Paid $6.37 for a 1lb box of joist hanger nails that is $1.78 at Menards. Only go here when I am in a hurry or when I feel rich!

I don't recommend using online ordering with this store. I thought it was prudent under existing conditions but they messed order up. Got switched around to 3 different people and was in store 20 minutes to pick up 3 items that email notification said was ready for pickup. Then they didn't have one item. Customer service skills are greatly lacking.

Absolutely outstanding customer service! With service like I received today I should have gotten the cashiers name so I could put her name on this rating. Humorous, friendly, and oh so helpful! A true Delight to have visited Westlake Hardware today! This rating was done with a voice to text.On this 28th day of May and Memorial Day again I received service at this Westlake Hardware that was absolutely five star! The young gentleman whose name was Dylan, once I let him know that there was a price difference with the item that I was purchasing, he closed his Lane, saw that the price was $10 cheaper then what the scan showed and saw that the item should have been the original price and it was stocked in the wrong place on the Shelf. What did Dylan do? He sold the item to me after I told him I would pay full price at the discounted price! This young man in his late teens new more about customer service at his young age then many adults. A true extraordinary young man! Kudos to Westlake Hardware!
