Absolutely amazing. My dog is special needs and needs a lot of special care and attention. He's also terrified of doctors ever since his first ever vet nearly killed him during a routine procedure.. We came from a different state and I was dreading finding a new vet since the one we had was absolutely amazing. But we got the owner as our doctor, and lucky for us she has experience with his rare disease. And they're fear free certified!! She is so kind, caring, takes her time, and answers ALL your questions. Plus they have a texting number that is brilliant. Where the doctor or staff can message you back when you have questions.. I'm looking forward to making this place apart of our family like our last one was. The entire staff is amazing!

I highly recommend this group. The staff is friendly, professional and will bend over backwards to help you and your pet. Our puppers love them...or love their treats, lol. I like that they are trained in the No-Fear technique. They not only will make sure your pup is healthy, but they also educate you along the way about your breed, dogs in general and offer great advice. I feel as far as cost that they are right in the middle..not the most expensive and not the cheapest.

If you are looking for a vet for your beloved pets, please look no further! From the moment I contacted this establishment, I was met with the upmost kindness. I have a "difficult" dog and this did not stop them from going above and beyond to do what needed to be done for him. Each person you encounter here is absolutely wonderful. They communicate every step of the way, from appointment text reminders to follow ups making sure my boy was doing well after his procedure. I cant say enough good things about this place! A huge thank you to all of the staff and Dr. Weisshaar for all you have done for us!

Genuinely the best animal hospital in Topeka. The staff is caring, intelligent, and will do whatever they can to get your pet the help they need. Between myself and my family, we have been bringing our animals here for at least 10 years, and have never once been let down. They're fear free certified, so you don't have to worry about your pet being scared because they know how to keep them calm/the best way to approach a timid animal. They are always able to answer questions, and have never made me feel silly or stupid for whatever it is I'm curious about.

I brought my new puppy Louie here for the first time and they were awesome. When I had to take my pet to an after hour emergency place because he accidentally swallowed something, they called the next day to check in and see how Louie was doing! I appreciate that level of customer service and care! I will bring my little guy here for any health care needs and told my sister to bring her puppy here as well!

The staff here is wonderful. We appreciate their kind and friendly attitudes and the gentle and loving care they provide for our little ones. They are truly dedicated to providing the best care to their clients in a humane, calming, and gentle manner. I am a first time dog owner and they took the time and had the patience to explain things to me and answer all of my questions. They were so good and gentle with Piper and made her feel very comfortable and have her best interest at heart. They truly care for each and everyone of their patients. There isn't a better place to take your pets than West Ridge Animal Health Center which has a very caring staff and amazing Vets ♥️. I have had two dogs they have taken care of over the last 10+ years. Currently my dog boards daily and she can't wait to go. Judging by the wag of her tail and goofy doggy smile when I take her in every morning, I know she's spoiled. I highly recommend West Ridge for any of your animal needs.

I had a fantastic visit at Westridge Animal Hospital. I am new to the area so naturally i was a bit nervous about choosing a new vet. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make my furry child comfortable. The vet was fantastic and answered all of my questions. My little guy is naturally anxious around new people but they made sure he was completely comfortable, even for his shots! Highly recommend!

We moved here about 6 months ago and we are very picky about the quality of care our dogs get and so far we love West Ridge Animal Health Center. We love that they are AAHA and Fear Free accredited which keeps the quality of care and standards higher. Not to mention the staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable and know how to make our dogs feel comfortable in that environment. Highly recommend!

We have been going there for about 16 years. Even after we moved 30 minutes away to Lawrence, we still use them because they really know how to make the dogs comfortable. They have stayed on top of health issues, keep us informed, and always are very easy to work with. Nothing negative to say.

i’ve been taking my big guy here for almost 4 years and they are THE BEST! They do everything they can to make it a positive experience for you and your pet. My 70 lb pitty isn’t very fond of the vet but he gets so excited to see everyone. If you are looking for a vet office who cares about your pet and keeping them happy and comfortable, West Ridge Animal Health Center is the best!

I love this place. They treat my dogs better then any doctor has ever treated me. They make sure your animal is cared for and don't charge a Ton of money for procedures, and they get it done right with proper evaluations / measures to make sure the animal is good to go. I have had bad experiences with many different vets but not here! i would recommend any pet owner to take them in here! Thanks for taking good care of our dogs!

My visit today with Blessing was very impressive. The staff was most helpful and caring and took every precaution to make my little one comfortable. Dr. Grieves made every attempt to explore her challenging symptoms and we are relieved that all untreatable conditions have been ruled out. Blessing is feeling better tonight and I feel she is in good watchful care as she heals and returns to her position at the ranch as Master Mouser!

This is a very great place to take your animal especially if you are low on funds because, although I had to pay the vet fee of $47 for the checkup up front. When I went into the back and saw the vet tech and I saw the actual Veterinarian we made a wonderful agreement that I can just pay for the shots and skip the actual check up cost and they took it off of my bill! So essentially instead of paying the 80 something dollars that it would have been for shots and the check that I was able to pay the $57 , for 11 shots worth of immunizationsM.... Which you know every little bit counts right?

I have had the privilege of taking my four dogs to WRAHC for over 25 years. The staff is excellent with the dogs. The vetinarians are great with helping the owners with everything from extending bill due date to putting a Buddy and two others to rest. They have truly become family.

Extremely wonderful group of people. Moved back to Kansas from Arizona, and was unaware that the HOA at my new residence would have a fit about my Chocolate Lab being over 30 pounds. I had her boarded with West Ridge and got all her vaccines up to date, as well as registered her with the City of Topeka. They were extremely caring and understanding, and kept me up to date every minute of her stay, even the doctor wrote a note to the HOA stating she was a happy and non-aggressive dog. These people are absolutely amazing.

Whether it’s our dogs monthly nail trims, dealing with recurring ear infections or an unexpected injury while traveling, the doctors and staff at WRAH have been over the top giving the best care and helping us trouble shoot some tricky situations. B. really enjoys his trips to the vet... he knows he is loved there.

This is the most disgraceful group of money hungry abusive 'Dr' I have encountered. They took advantage of my elderly mother who had early stages of dementia and would charge her so much money and schedule so many appointments to engage in rediculous procedures. They had this poor dog on so many medications and convinced my mom it was so sick, she took the dog to kstate. The vet at kstate took the dog off all the medication west Ridge had it on and he came home like a new dog, within 6months WestRidge had the dog back on all the meds and the dog went from great to aweful. This group is predatory. I have never seen a company reviewed on Google without any low marks, it is impossible . West Ridge is somehow getting them removed. Which should cause concern. Be careful if you choose this group I have tried to talk with them and they would tell me one thing and when they would get my mom in there they would take advantage of her declining cognitive abilities and her love of her dog. This group encapsulates the horror stories you read about when it comes to the elderly being taken advantage of.

These Guys have been nothing but attentive and helpful for our Kitties. They are reasonably Priced and you get Excellent service for what you pay. We would rather pay about average for these guys and get the above average quality of care and service they have always provided than go a bit cheaper and leave our Cats in less Capable hands. We wholeheartedly Recommend them.

When I board Harlan and Tucker they get the very best care. I haven't found found anyone better. They are truly loved when they are there. I get pictures and texts from them updating me on how they are doing. I can call or text them any time to check on my boys.

Very friendly staff. Everything is by appointment and I never have to wait. They also do all the leg work when ever there is a rebate for my dogs flee/tick/worm medications and have saved me quite a bit of money. I've never heard of a vet clinic doing that.

This is the best place to have your family member taken care of! The staff is awesome and friendly and they always make sure Teddy is taken care of and well loved and I can always get him boarded on short notice if I have to, but I always try to give enough notice, the few times I didn’t they accommodated me, I LOVE this place!
