on a day that was short of notice the groom shack squeezed me in and I am forever thankful because now I have found the best groomer in Kansas. Fantastic service my dog was happy and so was my wallet. It is not a major corporation, it is a privately owned grooming business. The Groom Shack also won the award for best groomer in the Topeka area 2020! How wonderful is that?! How lucky I am that I found them?!

The Groom Shack is hands down the best I have ever been to. I am a full time RV'er and have had my Papitese all over the United States for grooming. Brooke is the best, she has a love for animals and a real natural talent for making them comfortable....and her grooming techniques are that of perfection. I almost hate to give her a review as I am so afraid when we come back she will be like the rest of the shops and not have an opening for weeks in advance but when I find someone of her caliber I must commend them. Try the Groom Shack and if you are a local you will go no where else.

They do a great job grooming but they over book themselves and when they tell you you are on the schedule for 4 months then you show up early for your appt time and they tell you that your dogs are not on the schedule. Then proceed to tell you rudely on the phone will I guess she can bring them in but she's going to have to wait I have 12 dogs already. Oh and you can't get a comp reschedule because of their mistake til a year later. They treat you like you don't want to have your dog on a schedule when that was my goal all along with them. I won't be recommending anyone go there due to customer service is very much lacking.

We have taken our dog here for over 5 years… Then, all of a sudden, we were not on the schedule. No notice, nothing in letting us know. They tell us they are booked for the entire year even though we had always booked a couple appointments in advance. Very upsetting that this was done considering how anxious our dog gets going to new places. Don’t ever bring your dog here, they do not know how to run a great business.

This experience was amazing. The owner has such a great personality. She is very good with animals. My dogs loved her so much. I could tell when we first walked in. My dogs are my world and I wanted there haircuts to be perfect. When I first saw them I was amazed by how beautiful and fluffy and clean they were. The price was fair and not too expensive. I loved every bit of this grooming experience. If you love your pet and want to spoil them make sure you bring them here. She even put the most adorable tiny bows in there hair and I about died from cuteness!! Thank you Groom Shack for being so awesome!! You are the best!!

Brooke took excellent care of my Great Dane and did all the services I needed without fuss. He wasn't too big or too scary like some other places say just because of his breed. The shop is open, nicely decorated, and clean. Everyone I had contact with was great. I won't hesitate to go back. Give them a call and see what they can do for your furry friend.

The girls here are great! I was so happy when I picked my dogs up. They got our babes in with short notice, they were fast but efficient and they did exactly what we asked for. VERY reasonably priced. We definitely won’t go anywhere else. Thanks you guys!! 😁Also, this place was very clean & nicer than other places we have used.

Amazing experience! We were in town visiting family for the week and was able to go in as a “walk in” and get our goldendoodle the spa day she desperately needed. Haircut was exactly as we asked and she smells amazing. Price was extremely reasonable and so much better than your “chain” style groomers. We even drove out of our way a bit as the groomer near our family was booked solid so asked around and lucked out finding Groom Shack. Definitely using them whenever we’re in town. Highly recommend!

Most wonderful place to take your fur-babies, small buisness and locally owned. She does great with our dogs, im very picky about how i want things done and she listens asks questions and has amazing people skills, and my schnauzer loves going there great vibes, the ONLY place i have taken dogs BACK too without having some sort of complaint because she always goes above and beyond and has pretty decent prices... highly recommended!!

We were drawn to their ad because of their awesome prices, but we were surprised by so much more! Petsmart charged us almost twice as much for less than 1/2 of the grooming options, and then denied a 2nd session because we asked for them to shave our dog. Groom Shack has been amazing from day 1, and our dog comes home clean, happy, and groomed exactly as requested. They've always gotten us in quick, or taken us as walk in during walk in hours. Our dog seems to like them, and they're always super loving towards him. I've seen them treat other dogs with just as much love as well. I love that they will groom your pet as requested, without judgement! Another amazing thing is they seem to take on ALL breeds, even "pitts" and other "aggressive breeds" without prejudice, and treat them just as kind as all the other dogs.

I've been once with my dogs. They say they clean ears an pull hair out of ears, but they only use clippers and shave outside. I have to finish the work, at home, for them. Hope next time it's a better experience.

Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. My dog was incorrectly groomed and left with soap residue still in his cost. I would not recommend them.

They told me they can't groom my dog anymore because I was taking out of their system and could not be put back in. I guess their to good anymore.
