This location has a wonderful inventory, including cross bows and free, first hands-on lesson with purchase that I'm aware of. They had the materials that inspired the Perigola-type structure that I built for my mother. They offer a military discount. Pretty friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend them for your property investment needs.

The guys in the archery shop are top notch! They do excellent work and are extremely knowledgeable! Great selection of products. They brought my old Bowtech back to life and I’ll continue doing business with them for many years to come!

IM NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!!So two weeks ago I took my bow into Sutherlands in North Topeka to have a new string and cables put on and also have the cams adjusted so they’re in time. I called yesterday and it had been done for a couple of days and they hadn’t called me to pick it up yet. So I picked it up and took it home and tried to shoot a little last night. I absolutely couldn’t pull it back what so ever. So after talking to a couple of my buddies who bow hunt we determined something was wrong with it. So I took it back today to have it looked at and the bow tech tried for 30 minutes to figure out the problem to which he figured out he put the cables on wrong. And he tried 3 different times to get them right and he couldn’t so he goes over to his computer and looks at google images to figure out how they are supposed to be in the cams. Finally he got it right and the bow was able to be pulled back both by him and myself. I get home to sight my bow in and I notice the string was damaged where he had it in the cam wrong. I called the store to talked to the manager and told him I’d either like new cables or my money back. He told me they could order the new string in and they would put it on. I told the manager I would take the new cables and I wouldn’t be allowing them to work on my bow anymore so he told me they couldn’t do that but I could have my money back if I had my receipt. And I said well I hope I still had it and this manager started laughing at me because I wasn’t sure if I had my receipt or not. (Which I did find it) so anyone that bow hunts around Topeka I strongly recommend NOT taking your bow to them! The guy behind the counter has no clue what he’s doing and the manager was extremely unprofessional!Rant over!

We love going to this store it is super convenient they are 30mins from us vs an 1hr to home Depot or Lowe's, The people there are really nice, We bought a mower from them a few weeks ago today we were mowing and our tire whent flat so we brought it in and they fixed the tire free of charge. The last couple times we went we had a guy named Evan he was super nice and helpful also helped us get a mower and deliver. I would recommend going here. 🙂

I went there because I was in town. I needed a couple fuses,and they had something that would fix my problem. I also priced some breaker boxes. They don't have everything, but they had what I need. In this destroyed economy, they have pretty decent selection of electrical things.

I buy my HVac filters there, they have them in stock. That's the only business they are getting from me, due to the fact that those weird managers and customer service people walk and follow you around.The younger floor people are friendly, but seem unhappy to be there, just so depressing in there.

Very impressed with my experience here. I had 3 different employees welcome me in to the store, and it was very clean and had a lot of merchandise. Good variety of landscaping material, and nice selection of trees.

My first time coming here was about a week ago because I brought in a bow for their bow tech to put together for me. And unfortunately there was some things wrong with the bow when the manufacturer sent it to me so I had to return the bow. So out the kindness of his own heart, he threw me an amazing deal on a really good bow because he knew I was new to archery and that it was something I wanted to really get into. Awesome service, I will be buying all my archery things from this place and will definitely be recommending all my buddies to these guys.

They don't seem to have the supply of things that some of the other box stores have. I went in the other day to look for a mirror to hang over my new bathroom sink. The limited supply of vanity accessories was disappointing. The staff on the floor did not seem to know where things were. But I did get good service from the customer service desk and she was able to look up on the computer what aisle things were on that I was looking for. I was really hoping that with the store being in North Topeka I could avoid having to deal with the Wanamaker stores. Unfortunately I found myself back at Home Depot after not finding what I needed.

Way better service and products than the two big stores on the west side, I was surprised when another store told me to go there to save money from going to the others on Wanamaker! My new favorite. And they are always ready to help. Not over crowded like west stores are. Worth the drive!

I have been shopping there on the weekends for the last 5 years. They're not any cheaper, I just prefer smaller businesses. But no longer.The staff is outrageously rude! All besides the register lady that has been there for years. And GOD FORBID you try to return an item. They will treat you horribly.. Horribly!!! I've returned two items in those years and both times I got bitched at and asked why I opened the box(yes, seriously.) The dumbest reason anyone could possibly give when returning an item. I shouldn't have to apologize because the lock, your employee suggested, didn't fit my door. WE shouldn't have to answer why we opened a package and tried to install it! And for no reason should we be looked down to for these reasons! So many employees are like this there that I honestly think that's part of their training.Drive a block away to Aces or Roach Hardware if you expect any customer service. Drive across town to Lowes if you'd prefer customer service as well as cheaper prices..

I almost always have a great experience here. Like others have mentioned, they don't always have the best prices, but they're close and their staff has always been good to me. I had one return and they handled it for me and didn't give me any grief.

Sometimes its hard to find help but overall good experience. There prices are a little high compared to the other big stores. But it's convenient for North Topeka and they do have a nice selection of items Made in America!

Products hard to find seem to be scattered throughout the store on end caps everywhere but in the aisle that they claim to be. The entire time I was there no one bothered to ask me if I needed any help or cry from somewhere like Ace

This store location is in a very good location in North Topeka, just off of Hiway 24 and NW Lyman Rd. Plenty of parking and very clean and friendly place to shop for just about anything. North Topeka is growing at a good pace. In times like now with Covid-19 , its good to know there are businesses building and opening in this area. These businesses bring in good revenue and jobs to people needing work. Check it out, North Topeka welcomes places that are cemented in staying the distance for all shoppers.

People need to use this store. It is a valuable addition to North Topeka, is a Midwest owned business and has everything any of the Wanamaker home improvement stores have and more. They even have a full line of archery supplies and an indoor archery range.

Definitely worth paying a little bit more for hardware, because there are actually retired Craftsmen working there who can actually help you find the right parts. You don't have to contend with the masses of Wanamaker traffic and like I said, there are people working there who know what they're talking about.
