We have a 19 year old tabby cat who can’t clean himself very well. Victoria did a fantastic job with him. He wasn’t stressed out at all. His fur was smooth and clean with a great cut. We’re happy to take him back and keep her as our groomer.

We've been to several pet groomers and had some really bad experiences. My husband and I discovered Hippie Hound Lounge when they were located next to the car wash, behind Sonic. We went inside and introduced ourselves to Victoria. Our first impression of her was her kind and gentle spirit and so we scheduled our wheaten terrier for an appointment.We were more than PLEASED when we went to pick up our fur baby. I can say with confidence I believe the treatment and care given, is done so from a heart of love (as if she were the owner); I am more than grateful for that!!Plus, I greatly appreciate the fact that my dog isn't put into a kennel for the whole day--she's in and out within 2 hours.We feel blessed to have found Victoria--she's truly the BEST there is!! (We've already scheduled our fourth appointment.) If you're looking for heartfelt care for your furry family member, I highly recommend her! You won't have any regrets.

I take my dog, Cody, to Victoria and she is very nice and does a great job. Cody looks so good after a trip to the Hippie Hound Lounge and I enjoy taking him there. Victoria is very punctual and best of all, Cody doesn't have to sit in a kennel for half the day. Victoria gets him in and out within about 90 minutes and I love that. I can drop Cody off, run errands, do grocery shopping and pick him up on the way home.

Amazing work on our 17 yr old puppy. She was a happy camper when I picked her up. I love that Victoria only grooms one animal at a time so our pooch doesn't have to wait in a kennel.

We absolutely love Victoria! I have my entire family (which includes 9 dogs total) going to Vic for excellent, kind, courteous, sweet, fun, and fantastic service since the week she opened her business. I trust so very few with my dogs over past bad experiences with other local groomers. My senior dog loves Vic so much that he falls asleep on her when she's giving him baths. She also helped corrective behaviors with our puppy which wasn't something we expected a groomer to do, but her professional background in dog training really helped us out.She does grooms by private appointment which means your dog is not kept in a kennel while waiting to be groomed and/or after grooming. So, if you make an appointment, keep in mind to drop your pet off and pick them up at the times provided. She also hand-strips for those with schnauzers! I keep her business cards at my own business just to hand them out when my clients bring their dogs into my shop (I'm a dog-friendly business). I even give her cards out at the Bark Park because people compliment my dogs' grooms so often!As for whoever Eric is that left an awful review, it definitely sounds like the guy has more of a personal issue than a professional issue which makes him sound childish. I think he's the guy that was harassing her in her business and tripped over his own dogs trying to get out the dog wash when she was located in a different place. If that's the same guy, it was awkward... for him. He should be ashamed of the message he left.Multiple friends and family of mine bring their dogs to Vic(toria) for grooms and are always pleasantly greeted, treated with respect, and are able to make an appointment.

I have been taking my Brussels Griffon to Victoria for a couple of years now. I can tell the environment is friendly because Lilly comes home in a good mood. Not to mention she always looks amazing! Thank you Victoria!

Im not sure if my first review went through, but... I made an appointment back in May while COVID was beginning to become more serious and they came outside to meet with a mask! That is a plus +.They are quick with responses and the staff are very friendly. I've only had experience with 2 groomers and they were both fantastic! I LOVED the way my dog looked after and TRUST ME my dog is pretty ugly. My dog has the face only a mother can love, she is cute-ugly, but my little-wittle ugly. The groomers made my dog look so much better! The shampoo they used didnt irritate my dog's skin, the haircut itself DID NOT irritate my dog in anyway (such as itchiness)I highly recommend going to this place! My dog feels happy afterwards and not like that grimey place---Petsmart...Shade thrown at Petsmart URCK. I recently moved out of Topeka and hope the pet groomers in my new area are just as great as them.Love them, cant say more!
