Best store in town!!! People are always friendly and helpful when it's needed.I love the deli and the butcher's counter is second to none. The produce area is always clean and stocked with beautiful fruits and fresh vegetables.The groceries might be a little more expensive but well worth paying the few extra cents to not be forced to check and bag your own groceries.

5 stars are not enough for Hy-Vee’s deli! Deli manager, Lynnea, took my order for food trays and personally made sure the food was fresh and included everything requested. And so fast! Absolutely knocked it out of the park! Not only is this the place to go, how fortunate for Hy-Vee to have such a thorough, caring manager like Lynnea. Thank you, thank you!

For what it is to shop was great. They have a lot of health and beauty products, but they don't have any wine at all, which is really weird cuz they do have beer.....

I asked them to special customize a cake for me, and they nailed it! It was better than what I had in mind. Listen, my son’s 3rd birthday was New Year’s Eve and that makes for a really hard day to throw a birthday party. No one comes because it’s the holiday and every service is full or busy or whatever. I totally expected just a basic cake. I brought my son’s monster trucks and just told them to do whatever and it way exceeded my expectations. He was so excited and I truly cannot thank them enough. I live on the total opposite side of , there are many many closer grocery stores/bakeries that are closer but I love this store so much it’s a hands down for me.

My family usually stops here on our way out of Topeka to get a few items we don't have in Wichita. Never have had bad service at this particular location and have always been helped in a fast and friendly manner. Overall an ok experience. Have had the same issues anytime i shop here which is not very often. I'll find a couple of items their website says is in stock and gives me the location and it's not there. When i can finally get an employee they typically say if it's not there they don't carry it and the website is usually wrong anyways. Self checkout is very easy unless you have a problem, i stood there for 5-7 minutes while 2 employees could not be bothered to assist even with the light on and me trying to get their attention. But overall most employees are very friendly, store is clean, prices are decent, and selection is pretty diverse.

Use to love this store. But lately some things I use to get haven't been available for awhile now. Getting fuel points have changed, not pleased w that. Rethink on visiting Hy-vee. 🤷‍♀️

OK, even though this place is a little more expensive than Walmart it has all the photo ideas you will ever need and coupons to match! Walmart never has coupons..... I promise you, the meat, salad, and bread selection is the best and can't wait for someone to prove me wrong.....JG

It's a beautiful supermarket/ here in Topeka.This is a mini mall almost. The bakery is amazing. The hot bar is bananas.The restaurants inside here are to die for. You know you can get your Starbucks fix, right?Now, if you need to fax, receive a fax. Needing to mail something otlr cash a check. It's that one-stop shop.Go Chiefs!

Claiming they have a meat sale going on… the only problem is that the meat at Kroger is about 2/3 the price without the sale. 20.99 for an 8oz filet is just awful. The short ribs were browning/ nearly bad. This store is a rip off and locals should not shop here!

Not just any bar, this place is like the "Cheers" of Topeka's South side! They have wonderful staff, excellent food, and a fun atmosphere. Not only can you get great food in the evening, but they also serve throughout the day. Many times I have ordered over the phone and picked up my food with no problems. I highly recommend this spot, even if you just want a coke and to shoot some darts or pool.

We ordered our sons wedding cake/food from HyVee. Everything was wonderful. We ordered a grooms cake, did not receive it. I spoke to Kobe the delivery driver. He apologized, went and got the cake, waited until the ceremony was over. He was so nice, careful with the 4 tier cake and polite. Please tell Kobe,,he was beyond awesome. Thank you for everything.

Open a hour later than Walmart. Awesome selection of almost everything. Plenty of things are marked up a bit. They have deals though for sure. If it's 11:01pm and you decide to go here I feel like it's worth it. They have good things to have delivered online also. Plenty of things Walmart doesn't even have.

I actually went to Wahlburgers that is inside Hy Vee. The food was really good, I especially liked Paul's Wahl Sauce!! The burgers are a good size, thought they are fairly on the expensive side, but I think for what we got was pretty worth it. I was disappointed in the fact that the Wahlburg's didn't do anything to the restaurant part of it. Yeah, some tables and chairs were removed to give some space between you and the people sitting next to you but the same old booths, same old tables and chairs, same old drinking station. So, that part I gave it 3 stars but an overall of 4 stars because of the size and quality of the burgers, and of course, Paul's Wahl Sauce. Basically nothing was done to make the old eating space from Hy-Vee, so it is still pretty much Hy-Vee. I was excited to go there, then I got there and it was like someone let the air out of my balloon. I thought beig the Wahlburgs they would've added a little something to make it their own, but it is what it is.

This store has my vote for best overall improvements by FINALLY putting in self check out. Yes, I know it was a while ago, but I avoided this place at all costs (despite having the best grocery varity in Topeka) because of the time it took in line to check out.Its changed so much (for the better) overall its kind of an adventure shopping there. 🛍Good Job Hyvee. 👍

For ten years I have been coming to Hy Vee for the carefully curated cheese collection by an employee that I affectionately refer to as “The Cheese Lady” (name unknown).What once was the most impressive cheese collection in Topeka is now decreased to a meaningless pile of processed cheese rubble. It is one thing to lose your cheese lady and another thing to lose your cheese.

I enjoy the cleanliness, the selection and friendliness of the employees. The USPS inside makes it convenient to shop and drop things off.Last visit was ridiculous. Came about 730pm. Asked for a one entree Chinese meal. Received like 5 pieces of small sesame chicken for $8.99. Asked for a small side of rice for my kiddo. $4.99!!I couldn’t believe it. Made a comment about the price. Cashier said nothing. Won’t be eating here again.

I usually love this store, but lately many products are expired. I wouldn't make a big deal about it if it were just by a few months. I'm talking about six months to a year or more expired and still on the shelf for customers to buy. I let them know and it keeps happening. Just make sure you check the expiration dates on everything you buy here. It has happened to me with beef jerky, cereal, and now coffee recently. I'm lucky I noticed the date before I drank it. Someone could get sick.
