Click list went well and for once I didnt have out of stock items or missing items. The person that broufht my groceries out did a nice job loading the groceries and packing things correctly. They also had a pleasant attitude and provided good customer service. However I took 2 stars away because I had to turn around twice because they blocked off two entrances to the parking lot that wasnt visible from a far and that was quite frustrating because it was a busy time of day for the store.

Used to shopping at Kroger in Cincinnati and this is a Kroger just in Kansas with a different name. The inside looks just like Kroger and the shelves are stocked with common foods and supplies.Their gas station is similar to other Kroger locations including wipers and trash cans.Plenty of parking

Dont buy gift cards from here! They wont exchange lost or damaged gift cards even WITH a receipt. Mom and I went to customer service, needing a new restaurant gift card. Showed them the receipt and activation receipt. All they said was sorry and call the number on the receipt. Called the number. Still waiting on a new gift card in the mail. Maybe I'll buy gift cards from Walmart instead. That's what another nice customer man does that had the same problem.

When Dillon's had locations in the Olathe and Overland Park area, this was my go-to for Chinese food that was fast and delicious. Since Dillon's pulled out of the KC area, I try to find a Dillon's when I venture outside of the area. So when we went to Topeka yesterday, there was a Dillon's three miles from where we had to be, so we were excited when lunchtime rolled around and we were getting ready to return to Olathe.Went to Dillon's specifically for the Chinese food. Discovered that the tradition of fast and delicious Chinese food from a Dillon's isn't a given. The lo mein noodles weren't the tradiltional flat lo mein noodles at all; the noodles they used in it were the thick heavy noodles one usually finds in pho. The biggest thing, though, was the lack of any kind of flavor. Just tasted like noodles in a broth with no spices or flavoring. The entrees fell to the same issue: no real flavor at all, very bland. Egg roll was not crispy at all.Service was good. Man behind the counter was very friendly and acknowledged us almost immediately as we walked to the counter.

Pretty good for grocery pick up, but I recieved damaged drinks today. Was a bit disappointed they knew this but didn't care enough to just switch it out.Other than that, the pick up staff was really friendly and gave me my groceries within a couple of minutes of arriving.

So I LOVE Dillons. I shop daily for grocery items. Yesterday I went to this location for the first time in some time now. For whatever reason, my card would not swipe. On rare occasion this has happened at other Dillons and other stores. I've been told that it can depend on the machine. I asked them to allow me to manually enter my card. The cashier told me that they are not allowed to do that. I explained that it has happened at other locations before in the past and that they have had no issue with this function. To this the Boy bagging decided to rear up and say "WELL WE CANT" with a BIG attitude. Confused, I inquired again as to why they weren't allowed to do this as I have done this and have seen other people do it at other locations. The cashier was polite and said it was company policy and the bagger Boy again said "BECAUSE WE CANT". As the discussion was between me and the cashier I became upset and asked the bagger to butt out and shut up with his attitude. I honestly just needed an explanation as to why their store is somehow different than literally the 4 other Dillions that I shop at. Ultimately, my children and I left and went to Walmart instead. (my card swiped fine)I did call the store and spoke to an Assistant Manager that reiterated what the cashier told me, that it was CORP POLICY and every other store was breaking company policy.Well, I just got off the phone with the CORP KROGER and it is NOT company policy. It is by each stores digression. But to me it felt like a very direct discrimination. They were very misleading regarding it being a CORP policy and had no issue pointing the shame finger at every other store in town for "NOT FOLLOWING CORP POLICY" I'd leave 0 stars if I could. Customer service WHAT?

Sneaky! They put up huge signs with sales prices and then in tiny letters nobody reads it says "when you buy 4". Nobody does this and if you're not checking your receipt you'll never know. They do this type of thing alot and I'm tired of it. Shopping at Hyvee from now on.

Dillon's is a great grocery store that has just about everything you need in a grocery store. Me personal I like the holiday/season section. I make it a point to check it out everytime. Love the hot wheel display.

Nice store but be careful. Attempted THEFT AT THE COUNTER is what I experienced yesterday when I took my tickets to cash them in. This young guy tried to cheat me out of more than half of my money. When he tried to hand me the money I was like "somethings wrong here...." then the older guy working with him looked and saw how much it really was and told the guy to just give me the rest of it. I was like WOW, did he really just try to steal from me?HERE'S HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF (PLEASE KEEP READING).This young guy though that I had no idea of how much I won and that is because some people just scratch the barcode and later gives it to the clerk and just trust that the clerk is giving them the correct money. Here's how to protect yourself the next time you cash in your tickets...Whenever you go to cash in your ticket there is a receipt that prints out, ask for that receipt and check to make sure that the ticket number printed on that receipt matches the inner barcode of the ticket. On that receipt it will tell you what you actually won. And if they tell you there's no money on that ticket, then just simply ask for your ticket back (don't leave it there). It's overall a nice store, but just be mindful of what you are doing there and pay attention to what the clerks are doing. Thanks.

UPDATE: If you use pick up please know this. If you can't make it to the store that day just cancel your order. Don't call and ask if they can keep it till the next day because they will tell you they can and you'll end up in a mess. Unlike Walmart that holds them for 24 hours, Dillon's only holds it till the end of the day. I ended up paying more for not picking it up the day that I scheduled it (an unforseen hospital trip), not getting any coupons or sales or gas points. Very disappointed with the way Dillons has been doing things on the pick up part.Dillon's, on California, is more expensive than say Walmart, but if you want the best produce, meat and takeout food, it beats Walmart hands down. They do run good sales periodically, have nice fresh flowers, a large salad bar, Chinese food and the usual chicken mashed potatoes, etc. They also have quite a selection of bakery items. They now charge a fee when you ask for cash back on your debit purchase, which I think is bull. I would recommend them but remember that they are higher priced. I get my grocery pick up from here and I have only had a couple of instances where they have charged me the wrong price. They aren't out of a lot of things or they don't have to substitute item's very often, which is very nice. The people are always friendly and helpful. The only drawback is if you are using EBT, they can't run it on the app, you have to give them the card to take inside.

Exactly what you expect in a large grocery store. Generally clean, friendly, and well stocked with quality extras such as a deli and bakery. You can be confident the customer will politely be mined for any interesting data they willingly or unknowingly provide, but again, that is fairly typical.The massive store, tens of thousands of products, and large staff are nice when you need them. My last visit customer service went above-and-beyond to address a concern with a confusing promotion, though I have to say I would prefer lower prices overall rather than having to deal with a confusing promotion to start with.

I would be lost without my North Dillons. They carry everything including specialty items. The store is good sized and very clean. Most of all, the staff is helpful and courteous. They have a great deli , bakery and floral department. I can go any time of day and get gas too

Dillon's Floral Department is stellar! They always put together the most beautiful floral arrangements. I live in Kansas City but my Parents and Grandmother lives in Topeka and they never disappoint when I send my Mom and Grandmother flowers. I truly appreciate the time and effort put into each individual arrangement they've put together for me. I can't say enough good things. DO NOT order any beef products if you pickup groceries, go in and inspect the steak your self. Second time in a row they have put old moldy steaks in with my order.. disgusting. Ordered two kc strips got two moldy steaks.

I like Dillons. They are constantly working to improve fresh food selection including organic choices and they stay competitive by offering pick up or delivery options. Customer service is rarely poor. I have a good experience 9 times out of 10. Good employee culture.

I went in for 2 items for my sick child. I thought a price was ringing up incorrectly and the lady walked over to check and I was wrong. Normally that's a little annoying, but she was really nice and even tried to help my daughter put her shoe back on (she's 1). The store is always fully stocked, clean and definitely have friendly, helpful employees.
