This is the best place in town for all of your home tech, personal tech, and office tech needs. There is an expansive variety of products as well price range — it really depends on what you are buying. The store is spacious, clean, and organized. You are greeted by a staff member as soon as you walk in and are asked if you need any assistance. I often know what I'm looking for, but if I do need help, the staff are easy to find and eager to help. I opened a store credit card here with great confidence in knowing what I was signing up for. The staff member who helped me sign up explained all of the benefits that come with the card.

Terrible customer service. Asked an associate for help finding a carpet cleaner and was told to go ask another associate who was sitting at a desk. I asked him and he then told me he would have someone from warehouse come help. Waited 10 minutes for no one to come help. While there are multiple associates just standing around up front. Decided to leave and spend my money elsewhere. Will definitely not be purchasing anything from this store again.

Best Buy you got me again. I went in today to look at a smartwatch and was completely ignored for the 10 minutes that I was in there. Four people at the front desk only helping two people, a person right inside the door who greets people and who saw me and made eye contact with me at least twice, and other people who walk by me and made eye contact with me and nobody asked if I needed help. Now I remember why I never go in there or shop there.

Bought a Jenn-Air downdraft range from Best Buy Topeka.It was a return item. Brand new. Wrapped in bubble wrap.I rented a Uhaul and Best Buy loaded it.I noticed that they picked it up with a dolly on it's side. Which is only thin steel.But I was sure they knew what they were doing.I got home, unwrapped it and the whole range is twisted!!!That's crazy. I'll never step foot in that place again!!!Needless to say I'm returning it.....

I bought a new Kindle Monday. They said they didn't have a case in stock. I looked at the choices, selected one. I asked to have it mailed to my home. The case arrived yesterday. It was for a smaller Kindle. I took it back today, and they had a case, so I purchased it. Very aloof, no sense of customer satisfaction importance. Never buy there again!

They always have a lot of everything we are looking for, the store is clean, and employees are nice and willing to help. Update 6 months later... We still love this place. I just bought a home with no appliances, and the kid helping us was very knowledgeable, found us more than what we wanted, and was kind and patient.

They don't deserve one star. Whoever they contract with to deliver is trash too. Didn't bring my hookups for my washer/dryer, and the manager is not helpful at all. Never got refunded for any of the items they didn't bring. I'll never give them my money again. Wth is total tech for smh. A big scam. Then they didn't even put the right name on my computer that they "fixed" god knows what they did to it. Go anywhere else before buying anything from them. I trust Amazon over them for anything and I don't even like amazon!

I love Best Buy. I've wanted to work for Best Buy ever since I was a little kid and even still being 35 it hasn't gone away...I m a little bit of a nerd..jest with my passion for all things tech(especially more specifically areas like cell phones, computers, bluetooth, video games. On this particular shopping trip, I was being blessed with a brand new Chromebook to help me graduate and be as much support as possible in my endeavors to change my life for the better. The tech guys were very knowledgeable about my there product and it was great they had what I wanted in stock. Whereas before over at Walmart no offense or anything but they had the pictures up for Chromebooks and stuff but come to find out when we went to go purchase the Chromebooks they have any and the store at all and that was really frustrating unless you to go right across the street and get it taken care of Walmart is As We Know really good but sometimes some things certain people just do better ..Thanks for a amazing shopping experience.....

We need a MICRO CENTER to replace Best Buy! The last handful of times I have been here, I have not had a great experience. Each time is relatively the same, I look online to see if they have a product in-store thats ready for pickup, it says they have it in stock so I go to the store. Only to be met by an empty space on the shelf, so I try and flag down an employee but that always takes at least 5-10 minutes. This time, the guy that helped me was helpful, but still took 10 minutes for him to get to me.Additionally, Best Buy is probably the worst electronics store that is still around. The prices of things here are outrageous sometimes. I was in a few weeks ago trying a screen protector for my girlfriend, the cheapest one was $40. Anyone with a brain realizes a .4mm thick sheet of glass is not that expensive.If you are not technologically savvy, they will most likely take advantage of you. I've overheard many older folks getting "help" buying a computer/tablet/router, only for them to blow way more money than they need to.

I had to have the Geek Squad come to my home this morning. The gentleman was Colin. He was right on time and worked out right away what was wrong. My monitor had finally croaked. He recommended two that were in stock in the store, I came in and got it and am looking at it now as I type. Thanks so much for helping a person who is not tech savvy at all.

The sales people at Best buy will tell you whatever it is. They think you want to hear in order to make a sell. We were told parts were included with a range we purchased, not true. We were told we would receive double points on our Best buy card if we signed up for it and made a purchase that day. Not true as well. I will never be doing business with the best buy in Topeka again. When asked formanagers help, they had no idea what was going on. They said they would follow up and of course they never did Worst ran store ever!!

Went to best buy to get a new cell phone because my S20 broke. What was listed as pick up in store online was completely wrong, prices and availability were wrong. The worker that helped us was lacking in knowledge of the items that they sell. He was friendly though. I would recommend that you do your own research before going in just to be safe. 4 stars

Staff was attentive but not overly pushy. Prices seemed inline for the market. Some of the displays were not super helpful as too many pushed into one spot with no real identification of what TV it was. Doing a apple to apple comparison was tough too as the similar price points were not put together but spread out everywhere. Will say the staff did know why one model was better than another and why if this is what your looking for this would be your better choice. Will I go back ya..

1) Scummy salespeople.We ordered a list of things all at once for Christmas gifts for family. With this they convinced us to buy their price plan that gives our items a warentee in case anything breaks. Couple of months later one of the things we bought was a PlayStation 5 controller and it recently started drifting. When we took it back to replace it the next salesperson told us that the price plan was bought after our purchase of items. None of the things we purchased were under warentee because the person we bought those things from did not care enough to put it in with our list of items.2) Horrible tech supportMy laptop's USB port became unsoldered and stopped working. I took it to Geek Squad and ask if they could repair it because I'm not confident enough with soldering to do it myself. Their quote was over $1,000, almost matching the price of the computer. when I asked why the charge was so ridiculous it is because their plan was to replace the entire motherboard. I told them no and took it to The Computer Store instead and they fixed it for $45. If you have any technical support go to them, for Best Buy's Geek Squad support do not care about you and will take the most lazy path to achieve it. I promise you it will save you so much.

Ordered a fridge from Best Buy and paid to have it delivered. While they were loading it they broke the fridge and failed to call to let me know they had broken it and no one showed up on the delivery date. I ended up spending an afternoon on the phone trying to figure it out myself. We were told they would work with us on getting either the same, very similar, or even an upgrade. When it came to picking something out, they went back on what they said and ended we up picking something completely different. We’ve asked someone to contact us about the whole ordeal but no one seems to care enough to call us back. Communication doesn’t seem to exist here and that truly sad to see.

Yesterday, I had a melt down, and traded my laptop in for store credit. I really missed my laptop and my life wasn't what it was with her, but wasn't sure if Best Buy had shipped her off to the distribution center yet. This morning, I went into Best Buy and spoke with an associate who then spoke with his manager. They were able to reverse the return and return the device to its rightful owner... well co-owner. I still have a few payments to make. Thanks Best Buy for helping through my melt down and for the feel good ending.Your not only the best buy but also the best!Another good review for another purchase. I ordered a reem of paper from Best Buy but saw a better deal for a similiar product. I drove to the store but there wasn't any in-store inventory. This doesn't sound like a happy ending, but it was. The associate took the shipping cardboard box from me to recycle, and on my way out to the parking lot I noticed that my origional purchase was made from ground up wood chips. How cool is that?Everything works out in the end. And kindness always prevails!Thanks Best Buy.

The Geek Squad man at this Best Buy store quickly fixed an extremely stress-causing problem I was having: my iPhone's battery was failing to recharge when I plugged in a charging cord. Turned out the culprit was grit and lint that had built up inside the phone's charging port. The same Geek Squad guy helped me find two new charging cords, since my original equipment Apple cords were showing signs of wear.Then at the checkout counter, out of curiosity I asked the young lady cashier if Best Buy still sells DVD movies. She pointed me to the appropriate isles, where I was pleasantly surprised to find three movies I've been wanting to buy...which is what I did.All in all, a very satisfying visit to this Best Buy store. (And a tip of the hat to Apple Support's Lindsey who recommended taking my iPhone to this store for inspection and service.)

Great place to buy electronics. I picked up a new HP printer and I am very pleased with it. The sales associate was very helpful and knowledgeable about printers. He was able to guide me in the right direction and make my shopping trip quick and relatively painless. It was so great that he could answer my questions. I really like dealing with someone who knows about the products.
