I love the idea of having this store in Tonganoxie but I must say I won't go back. Shelves are empty, stock carts filling the aisles. But worse than anything is sale stickers arerarely placed out or taken down from previous sales. And don't dare ask for the correct price. Called GM several times and of course no response there either

They constantly close early with no reason. Pretty sure the employees just sit inside with the lights off until it’s official closing time. Very unprofessional

Store is OK after the remodel, but the same issues are creeping back in. Long lines because they're short staffed... Empty shelves because everything is in boxes in the aisles (and not just on delivery/truck days).

This is my favorite Dollar General Store. The employees are respectful, friendly, helpful, & stick around longer than at other locations, & seems like they have more staff on duty, or they are just better customer focused. I try to use this store for quick stops as their prices are better than the Casey's down the street. At their busiest times, or when a customer is taking a long time to check out, they take notice & get at least 2 people checking out to help the line run quicker. They have been busiest on weekend nights & right when school lets out since they are right across from the high school. They carry a variety of the local school district branded shirts & sweatshirts. I do wish they opened 15-30 min. earlier so I could stop on my way to school to pick up last minute supplies. I am giving 5 stars because this is the best Dollar General store within 20 miles in my opinion.

I'll never go back to Dollar general period! I refuse to pay someone's wages with my hard earned money, when the employees want to argue and have an attitude. Plus the tonganoxie KS location the employees don't stop shelves often. Shelves are almost empty every time I have gone in. Today was last straw. I'm going to city council and petition the city to terminate the lease agreement. We deserve a good store with helpful staff and a company that cares about the community it's serving

Very clean and organized and orderly. I wish we had a DG Market in Louisiana. We only have regular Dollar General and they are always a cluttered filthy mess.

Nearly overcome with the ammonia smell when walking through the door. Is there a 'store cat' mascot hidden somewhere here? Because, it's peeing in your store! I was going to buy food here but now I'm not so sure.....

Love this store, but the employees need more help, one person in a store is not going to get ALL the jobs done appropriately. It stretches the one person very thin, and it's not right to expect one employee to cashier, put away stock, Clean, help customers and so on. Give these people some staff members, at least one more

A handy store in our small community. However, all DG stores look messy: narrow aisles look crowded and the garage sale appearance at the front door diminish the shopping experience. This store is clean and most employees helpful and friendly.

Ran in on Thanksgiving morning to grab pineapple for my ham. Bless their hearts for being open. I would have been happy to give 5 stars but they were terribly understaffed. The gal checking people out maintained an amazing attitude even though there was no end in sight.

I do not know why it's so hard to clean up a store. Or stock shelves or even help customers. I went in here the other afternoon and stood at the register for 12 minutes before someone even came out to ring it up. I contemplated just leaving money on the counter and walking out. I've been here 4 times since and you can't even walk down the aisles because of the stocking carts that sit for days until the shelves are empty. It's filthy and some of the staff are outright rude. One of the girls working here even said "I wish this town wasn't so full of morons." I wish there were better alternatives for Tonganoxie for shopping on a budget.

Staff has become very rude. One girl in particular yells at customers Everytime I am in there. Won't be seeing my face in there anymore.... I'll drive one town over to go to the dg store where the staff is half way personable.

Store is NEVER stocked ! Always bare shelves with unopened stock boxes at the end of every aisle, that are in the way of customers who are tripping and getting stuck on the stock carts :/.... At one of my visits I ask if they had the dollar general brand batteries, the cashier said it would be in a box in back and it would take her 3 days to find it. Which to my thinking if you know it's back there you should be stocking them.

My go to quick stop, one stop, shop! Love the app and being able to load all of my coupons digitally! I all always try to go on Saturdays for the $5 off $25! The staff is so helpful!

Store was dirty, staff unfriendly. I picked up trash from the parking lot on my way in to the store, checker told me they didn't have trash cans to throw it away in. So much for trying to be helpful

I wish they collected and repaired their carts. They are never inside. You have to wrestle it thru the door yourself. Its crowded, messy, and disorganized. They probably need more employees for the traffic at our store.
