I had a very pleasant experience the lady that checked me is was so nice and sweet. She let me know where the grocery store was and other things my grandson and I could do in the awesome town will definitely stay there again!!!4/9/24Yes we were back again time number 3. She remembered us its so nice. I just love this place always so welcoming room is always clean. Will be back soon. Thank you to the owner for always making us feel welcome

I just love the "Old Motel" feel of this place. Just like when I was a kid traveling across the country with my parents! Linda is fantastic. Rooms are very clean, affordable, and one of the unusual things these days with coffee in the room, it actually tastes like good fresh brewed. That's just to name a few of many great things about staying here. Will return for sure in August.

What a lovely place run by lovely people! My stay on October 12th had me getting into the area late but Linda had no problem getting me set up in a room for the night. She also allowed me to park my truck and long trailer in the grass. My truck had been blocked in over night but Linda and her husband helped guide me out in another direction. The room was clean and very nice, the beds were also comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again if I’m in the area!

One of the best motel experiences we've ever had! The 50s decor is very beautiful and very well done. Comfortable beds, microwave oven, mini fridge/freezer, coffee pot and cable TV as well. Spotless clean, tons of parking.

I was so surprised when I walked in and saw the cute decor, super clean and comfy room. Looks like it’s been updated with everything we needed. Fridge and microwave. TV, hot water and quiet place to get a great night sleep. Beds are very comfy! The owner was awesome and we will stay here again!

Great little motel! Fabulously friendly staff! Our room was decorated so cute! Last minute stay due to a vehicle break down and felt so welcomed! Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you for being so welcoming in our time of need!

4 maybe 5 years ago this motel was once a nice place to stay, but it isn’t now. We stayed here for the convenient of being close to family instead of staying in Hays. BIG MISTAKE. At first glance the room looks decent and clean. However, when we came back to the room later at night. It was like camping indoor (mosquitoes and other flying bugs) were all over the ceiling. Come to find out they were coming in through the cracks along and under the door. The over powering smell of lemon citrus (like Pinesol) was irritating and it happens to be coming from the A/C window unit, and with closer inspection the unit was disgusting (decorated with dead bugs, little black dots...hopefully its not mold) found the same thing when pulling back the curtains to see brown crusted paper towel strips decorated the same way along the bottom (should have taken a picture). The shower head is not updated, it’s one of those that you see being used outdoors basically just shoot out a powerful jet of water (very painful). Toilet seat will break off if not careful when lifting the lid. Finally getting ready to sleep.....pull back the covers on one of the bed and there was some black smudges on it (not sure what it was) we slept on top of the covers. The beds were so very uncomfortable. The entire room was uncomfortable. A terrible experience. For $60 a night we should have stay in Hays and would have a better experience.

Been a while when we stayed, but we stayed at The M Motel our first night in Stockton the beginning of April 2021 ... we didn't get into town until after 2:00 am on a Friday morning ... called the number on the door and within minutes were able to get checked in.Everyone was friendly, obviously accommodating given the time we arrived ... the room was clean and comfortable and our dog was welcome as well 😁.If you're coming to Stockton ... this is the place to stay.

Be aware, you are required to pay for your full reservation stay even if you need to leave early. They charge you for the full amount after your first night. This isn't something they tell you up front. There is also a "service fee" added to your credit card charge. Again, not something that was communicated up front.
