I’m so surprised there are not more reviews about the Kai Days dog food fundraiser and I feel like I need to warn others. I’ll start by saying Rye and Chase were so nice to work with and the photos were great. I am obsessed with dogs, dog people and dog shelters and I loved that they were willing to help stock shelters with food by offering a free photo session and 5x7 w/ a donated bag of dog food and a purchase. BUT THEIR PRICING 🤯We drove 20 mins with our 3 year old, 3 month old and dog to the studio. Took pictures & were told we needed to drive back the following week to view the photos. So we packed up the kids again and at the 2nd visit we learned in order to get the free photo (after donating a $60 bag of food and two 40 minute round trips), their cheapest package started at $475 for FOUR PHOTOS! The digital photos cost $2000!? You can also buy individual photos, for example one 5x7 is $99 lol. I understand if we reached out to them, planned family photos, bought new outfits, etc. but I thought this was for the dogs with a bonus free print for a food donation. This felt like a scam and we are still in disbelief over it. Next year I will just donate the dog food! Rye and Chase were very nice and very good, but beware this is a lot more costly than a donated bag of food.

We had a couple nice photos but for the total cost of our package not worth it. We asked to see all the photos so we could choose others vs the photos they offered and they say NO. We asked to just see a few more - again a very adamant NO. If we wanted to see more, we had to pay more which was a red flag. We had purchased one of the more expensive packages and that was not acceptable. We did multiple poses but were not able to see those. For example, we did not see any the photos taken inside against the white brick wall in the back of the studio. We’ve been to better photographers who offered all photos to choose from then edited the ones *we* liked; not a pre selected batch. Also, these other photographers were not as expensive. Photos people choose of themselves & family is highly personal vs what the photographer may like. Bottom line we should have been able to choose. Left this late review as those photos popped up again on my phone and felt the disappointment & sting of wasted money again :(

Wonder people Rye and Chase are. Meticulous when it comes to editing photos. They make taking pictures easier and less stressful. Highly recommend The Rye Studio for pictures! A++++++++++++++++++

We haven’t even seen our pictures yet and I can already tell you we 100% recommend Rye & Chase!! We had our session today and we’re blown away by what a fantastic team they are and how much you can tell they LOVE what they do. Even our 10 year old asked if we could “hang out” with them again! I am so excited for our pictures because I just know they will be stunning. We will absolutely be back!!

My daughter had her senior pictures taken by Rye a few years ago. The photos turned out superb. We now live in Dallas and made a trip over the summer back home to Montana. We decided to have our sons senior photos taken by someone while we were up there. This photographer is very well known in Montana as, “one of the best in the state.” Let me tell you, now that I have them back and put them up against the ones Rye took of our daughter, there is absolutely no comparison. I’m sad that we didn’t make the 7 hour trip to KC to have Rye take them.

This studio is legit. It’s the cutest lil’ studio. They captured my late Oliver in a way no one has. They were so accommodating. The studio even saved our photos and when we needed them the most they were there.My wife and I are forever grateful we found you guys! Thank you!

Really can't say enough about Amy and Chase. What I love the most is how Amy catches those genuine moments, not the fake "CHEESE" smile, the genuine laughter and natural beauty. Amy is an artist.
