Jay and Stacey are the best! They took the best care of our boys in 2018, and then our dog in 2021. We have a German Shepherd, and a Tabby cat. We were at ease both times knowing our boys were in good hands. They offer playtime, and allow you to bring your own toys etc to make your pets more comfortable. They are the most patient folks, and understanding as our German Shepherd can be overly excited. We are using them again for an upcoming trip soon! We had no doubt who to call to take the best care of our animals.

I cannot recommend this place enough. My dog has never been boarded before in the 5 years we have had him. This place is beautiful. Stacey was absolutely amazing and she calmed my nerves and let me know my baby would be in good hands. I gave her the run down on what my dog struggles with and she was very kind about it. When I went to pick him up, her son was there. Her son told me my dog did great. I was shocked. They said he had a great time and I believe it! He looked so happy when I picked him up and he definitely played hard because he slept for a long time when we got home. I will definitely use this place for my baby from here on out.

We took our dog Dexter to Mystic Acres, and he had such a good time! The staff was amazing and gave us peace of mind when it came to leaving our 2 year old son with them for a few days. Thank you so much for our experience, we will definitely be using this boarding facility in the future! :)

My dog Andy suffered a back (bulging disk) injury at this kennel. I believe this happened when they restrained him to give him a pill. They joked when I picked him up - poor old Andy had a hard time walking. He was absolutely in fine shape when I dropped him off. They were not truthful about his care. Place looks beautiful. Horrible care.

We use them every chance we get when needed. Max loves to go there and always seems happy. Only issue is that they book up quick for holidays. Love this place.

We returned from vacation to find our dog with a severe bilateral conjunctivitis. When I arrived to retrieve our dog, I was told that he had some "goop" in his eye. It was clear immediately that this was more significant than "goop" as referenced in the photos below. These were taken immediately after returning from home the kennel. I called the owner to discuss what I had found and was told they only noticed the issue this morning and that they had put saline drops in his eyes. This amount of swelling, and inflammation does not occur over night. It was clear to me that no one had checked on him for what might have been several days. We were never notified that an issue was developing. My dog was bleeding from his eyes when I picked him up from Mystic Acres. He had a severe infection that required parenteral antibiotics at the veterinarian. Had this gone on any longer this infection could have resulted in significant harm. We had used Mystic Acres for several stays in the past, and until now have not had any issues. However; it is clear to me now that our dog was not being adequately cared for, and I suspect had not been checked on for more than several days on end. It is truly heart breaking to me that an infection of this severity went unnoticed, and no attempt was made to contact us so that we could intervene.

My 2 dogs stayed over a weekend. They have anxiety when boarding. I was very pleased with how friendly the staff was. The location is very nice and feels tranquil. When I picked them up, it was obvious they were well cared for. Already booked their next stay.

This was a repeat stay for our little girl while we went on vacation. Mystic Acres is a pristine property with wonderful private indoor and outdoor runs. Jay and Stacey are top-notch caretakers. Never once did we worry about our pup. I cannot say enough good things about Mystic Acres! Will definitely return, and definitely recommend to others as well. 🙂

We have been long-time customers of Mystic Acres but I wanted to share a recent experience we had with them. My father had a long-term hospital stay which requires us to board his dog for several months. They stayed in constant communication with me during his stay and kept me updated as to how his dog was doing. When I finally was able to pick up dad's dog, it was obvious that he had received the same tender loving care he would have at home. He was clean, well cared for and happy. I cannot recommend Mystic Acres highly enough. Their facility is immaculate, Jay and Stacey are amazing and we literally would not board our pets anywhere else. If the kennel is full, we reschedule our trips! They are THAT WONDERFUL!!

When our son was unexpectedly placed in the PICU at Children's Mercy, Stacy and Jay we're so accommodating about keeping our dog for us while we dealt with the hospital. Mystic Acres is a great place to board your dogs or cats! You can then take your vacation and not worry about your pets because they are receiving excellent care. Jay and Stacy love animals and you can tell by the loving care your animals receive while they are vacationing at Mystic Acres. They have large kennel runs inside for your pets so they are not in a small, cramped cage, and your pets stay warm and dry. They also have a large outdoor play area for the dogs. For $2 a day your pet can have additional outdoor time (it is worth it!). They ensure that your pet receives any medications that they need. You can bring your own food (although they also provide food if you like), treats, blankets, beds, or toys. Our dogs always come home healthy and happy! Mystic Acres fills up fast during the summer months, so be sure to call ahead to reserve a spot. We wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else!

We left our 6 year old Boxer who has a bad case of separation anxiety with Mystic Acres and were thrilled with their facility and the care that he received in our absence. The facility is very well maintained and clean and they let us know our boy was well behaved! He is staying with them again for a week in the near future and we know he will be in good hands & they will take great care of him. It's never easy to leave your pets behind, and we take ours with us everywhere we can, but I have confidence and trust in Mystic Acres and know they'll care for my baby boy just as my husband and I would. Highly recommend them!

We love Mystic Acres and have been using them for probably 8-9 years. They take great care of our dogs and are always friendly when we pick up and drop off. We are allowed to bring our own food (which is important because of food allergies in one of them). The facilities are top-notch and the size of the kennels is perfect for our two dogs. In addition, I have complete faith and trust in Jay and Stacey that should an emergency arise, they would do the very best they could for our pets. We have thrown out the phone numbers for all the other kennels we have tried.

We were referred to this kennel and glad we were. We boarded three of our dogs for nine days and they took great care of them. The description of their facilities on there web site us spot on. The grounds are clean and landscaped nicely.The facility is well maintained and very clean. The dog runs offer both indoor and outdoor runs for each dog. There us also an option to include a larger outdoor play area. The staff are wonderful...you can tell they are dog lovers.We will definitely return in the future.

This was the first time boarding my dog and I had an amazing experience. She was happy, healthy and clean when I picked her up. Brought our dogs here for a couple days. The owner is talkative and friendly. The set up is awesome. Drop off and pick up are both easy and convenient. Prices are fair. It's in the back of their home with a concrete drive leading all the way back. Really nice. We've already booked another stay. Would highly recommend

We have a very large dog and we've used Mystic Acres twice now once for a long period of time. And Hugo's always came home Happy freshly cleaned with nails trimmed . And a very reasonable price. So we've been very happy

My wife and I really like Mystic Acres! Plenty of space for our big dog, and they seem to genuinely care about the well-being of the animals they watch. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable rates and an extra $2 a day to get some "play time" on long stays is well worth it!
