Look here, it’s a dollar general you get what you get, but as far as I know they don’t put gummy candy next to the gummy sensory toys for children to consume. Anyway 1/10 go check it out. Never been inside, outside looks pretty jank but that is ok.

Apparently they close when they feel the need, like 9:30 versus 10 pm. If it's slow, they should unpack the boxes that are blocking almost every aisle! The main guy just stands at the register but prefers you use the self checkout register.

I use to work at this dollar store. When I was there management was great and the store was clean, and there wasn't unnecessary clutter everywhere, not when you go in this store there is boxes, roll carts, step stools, trash, and just everything out of place. Not to mention they are usually out of just about everything. The staff is rude, and slow. They have talked to customers about how they don't want to be there, or how they would rather be at home/with friends. They definitely don't make you feel welcomed. This place has gone way down hill. I only shop here if I absolutely have to or have no choice. It's just way to cluttered to even get around in especially if you have a cart. Corporate needs to come to this store and straighten it up and hire more appropriate people. The only good workers have been employed there recently either quit or got fired. It's just ridiculous. This stores location needs some serious help. If I could if it zero stars I would.

I walked through the door as I have for the better part of 10 years. I have been a loyal customer and usually never have issues. As I was walking in the store the lady behind the counter gave me a very disgusting look. I just brushed it off and continued to get what I needed. As I was checking out she was very awkward and silent. Staring at my tattoos and definitely profiling me as some kind of criminal. I felt pretty uncomfortable and kept my conversation with her to a minimum. After checking out and finalizing my order. She told me the next time I come in I need to make sure I leave my backpack at the door. I wear a backpack everywhere I go(including the dollar general). It’s like my man purse. I wear a lot of basket shorts and athletic clothing that doesn’t have pockets. So she definitely made it clear that she thought I was a thief. I’m 33 and Married with 3 kids. I do look young for my age..so maybe she thought I was younger than I am because I was wearing a mask..but…I don’t think I’ve felt that disrespected since I’ve lived in Spring Hill. Me and my Wife have spent tons of money in that store. When I got to my vehicle and explained to my wife what had happened. She talked me out of not going back in there and causing the scene that I wanted to. Which is definitely a good thing. Because I was so upset. I probably would of said some pretty harsh and cruel things to the extremely overweight, rude, low life bum they had behind the counter.

I love shopping at the Dollar General store! However, I'm in a power wheelchair at the store is not designed for a wheelchair to go between the isles. But there was a young lady working (I wish I had gotten her name) who went well above and beyond what I would expect from customer service. She picked out several beautiful birthday cards for me to read and they were all perfect! I did narrow it down to pick my favorite. Then she looked all thru the store to help me find presents to go with the card! She was so nice and helpful. AND she was also working the cash register and nobody had to wait! I gave the store 3 stars due to disorganization. If I wasjust rating the customer service, she would get a 5plus stars!

Spring Hill is VERY lucky to have Dollar General. The store isn't pretty BUT who cares? Seriously. It's an older building and it is out of the control of the employees working there. I am always treated kind, in fact, I usually leave there smiling. Dawna, Jessica, Amber- good people. Didn't your mother teach you to be be kind to people even if they are different than you?! AND appreciate what you have because there are cities, and countries that would LOVE to have the opportunity to avoid a trip to the bigger chain stores!!! I frequent the store because I live a mile away and have 4 boys so I run out of food and stuff, often. I come AT LEAST twice per week.

I dread going to this store. it’s close by but it seems like the staff doesn’t like their job or something always have an attitude especially the tall gal with dark hair and glasses.I went in there today and she tried to accuse me of trying to go to the office. I haven’t been in there in over a month.It always looks like the store has been broken into and ransacked. A complete disaster.I will drive to Paola or Olathe Next time. If u don’t have to go in there don’t. It’s not worth it.I would give -5 stars if google would let me.

I have given up going to this Dollar General. I now drive the 6 miles and go to the location in Hilsdale. I got tired of everything be out, and not being able to even go up and down the aisles. Like other reviewers have pointed out, the store always seems to be in the middle of stocking.If you want a good Dollar General experience drive down to Hilsdale.

This might be the worst Dollar General, in terms of cleanliness, organization, and building(I've seen doghouses that look more sturdy then this pole barn). To be fair, they did have the items I needed, the employees seemed very nice, and the long checkout line moved surprisingly fast. *I'll edit and add to this review after my next visit.

This place is always cluttered the workers are completely rude and don't know how to talk to customers or small children I tell you what the pink haired lady is lucky that I'm only writing a simple Google review and not taking things higher the way she talked to my kids were completely unprofessional and uncalled for

Absolutely rude! Had my sister go in to get a few things. I gave my sister a 100 dollar bill because that is all I had. Upon checking out the woman was extremely rude to her in rolling her eyes and giving so much attitude towards her. I am extremely disappointed because I usually love going here. I will never come back or send her in there again. The reason I gave it to stars was because the prices and the lady that gave my sister change was extremely nice to her.

I pray to God the guy working in the store this morning is Covid 19 NEGATIVE! He was so unprofessional. He was not wearing a mask and jumping all over the store bragging about being hyped up on caffeine. He was in my personal space....not even close to 6ft away, and was jumping around, and talking non stop!!! So risky and careless. There was an elderly couple in there, that would be at particular risk! I literally left the store praying this guys carelessness doesn't negatively effect anyone. So upsetting!!

Just the fact that maybe you could stock after close so your customers can get though the store. Maybe then a cashier would be where they need to be.The carts need to be in the store. If we need a cart to walk with then try holding a door open and keep your balance and get your cart through the door. I know the cashier doesn't have time to turn around if she or he has a customer to help somebody with the door. I've seen it to where they just stand there and don't help somebody through the door either. Hopefully somewhere down the line you guys will have enough help to be able to help with customer and help with stop sorry if she's a cashier she's not supposed to be away from the register. And maybe have room for a wheelchair to get in there I don't even know that it's even possible.

Good store to stop at for last minute things I need to grab. Their party area always meets my needs as well as their snacks. The only downside is how cluttered it gets with their products. The employees are always happy and helpful.

I like the store but there is always freight blocking the isles or in front of stuff you want to look at. I have gone in after a certain thing and there were freight carts in front of what I wanted to purchase and no one would move a cart so I walked out without what I went in there for!!!!!

Nothing is stocked ! You can’t walk down the isles because of all the carts blocking the isles! They will close half way through the day! They got a remodel and you can’t even tell!

They usually have what you need I like it 5 stars they were consistent and having everything. But let me tell you the staff are amazing better than any store then I have ever been in. Thanks for being so kind all the time.

It's a cramped store. It would be great if they would re build like in Louisburg. But it carries the necessities. It's convenient, but expect to pay slightly higher prices for that convenience. Turnover in staff is HIGH.

Quick and convenient but man I hope they never have a fire. The place is PACKED with stuff. Barely fit two people down an aisle. Always seems to be in a disoray, always stocking the shelves maybe? #ClutterCastle

You never know when they're going to be open and the cashiers are never very polite. Last time I was here they overcharged me for an item and then told me they could only give me the amount back on a gift card after I paid in cash. Tell me how that works out?
