My wife and I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant on a road trip and were VERY pleased with our stop! The food was possibly the best Mexican we've had anywhere, including San Diego. The flavors were superb, the presentation was excellent, the service was on point, and the atmosphere was fine. I had the Quesadilla Salad, and my wife had the Chicken Chimichanga. Neither of us thought we would be able to finish our food, but once we started, we couldn't stop until it was gone. It was delicious to the last bite!We spent several minutes visiting with the owner and our waitress after we paid our bill. They were genuinely nice, friendly people, and they wanted to make sure their customers were fully satisfied with their experience. We HIGHLY recommend stopping in for a bite if you are nearby. The folks that live in the area are blessed to have such a great place in their community!

New to Dodge and we were looking for some “hole in the wall” places to eat. I’m a bit of a foodie so I’m always looking for something outside the normal. Found this place online and decided to check it out. It did not disappoint! I’m from Kansas City so I have dined at everything in between and this place really hit a home run. Only the owner (I think it was the owner) was working the kitchen with one server. There was only 2 other families in. The restaurant atmosphere reminded me so much of my childhood at our local diner with my grandma and it was nostalgic bliss.Onwards to the food. It was SO very good. I have heard their chicken fried steak is really good but I went with the fried beef tacos this time and they were delicious. The shells were baked tortillas and had the perfect crispness. Absolutely no complaints.. they were STUFFED with meat. My hubby had chicken fried chicken special and let me tell you.. after I grabbed a bite off his plate. Delicious! The green beans were the best I’ve had anywhere. They were seasoned to the nines and cooked like your grandmas with onions and a few bell peppers. My little one had grilled cheese and it was buttered to every corner and had lots of cheese. We’ve had our share of poor grilled cheeses and this one was GOOD and the homemade fries were great as well.It was a great experience and we will definitely be back to try something else very soon!Didn’t get many photos because we dug in quickly but I did grab a photo of those bomb beans!Parking: Easy parking on Main StreetKid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere. If in the area and looking for great food at reasonable prices you definitely won't be disappointed here!!! The "Mexican" food is all amazing!! But they also serve good "American" food as well!P.S this isn't spicy hot "Mexican" food like some restaurants are, so a great alternative for anyone!Eat here regularly with great food and service every time!Kid-friendliness: Very friendly small town atmosphere, you'll have to worry more about your kid than this place!!! LolWheelchair accessibility: Very easy to negotiate in and out all on same level with very little obstacles.

Great service portions are decent the ingredients are fresh like the cheese (home made queso blanco) I had in my plate as well as the chips with salsa warm and just out of the fryer.We spent 50 dls two adults one teenager and three kids as a big family we espent more money when we go out to eat.The "Chef's choice " plate was delicious we didn't know what it was until it was served at the table.The cleaning of the restaurantwas very good the waitress was attentive making sure the place was nice and clean as well as keeping costumes please.

This is a great place to eat. Small town charm and incredible food. So many choices but I always go for either the chimichanga, Mike Hitz burger or the chicken fried chicken. The green beans are the best side dish anywhere.

For a small town cafe, it's OK. It can get pretty busy during lunch due to construction in the local area. Nothing to write home about but it will fill your stomach
