Three of us are here at the recommendation of a local farmer while we were nearby hunting. Place was great and a unexpected gem. We had burgers mostly and they were fantastic, service was top notch too. Just beer, no liquor, but we didn't mind. For a town of that size, it was amazing how busy they were. Clearly a local dining destination.

Sit down restaurant where you can get a proper Bacon Cheese Burger and Fries for under $7. Best Chicken fried steak for at least 50 miles. This is a real family run restaurant and I especially like to go there for Sunday lunch. Very friendly and personable. My only complaint is that it is a little cold in the winter, but I still go.

We had a great time at Trapper Joe's! The waitstaff was wonderful and we had a delicious meal. I had the chicken fried steak (little Joe) which was plentiful and tasty and my wife had a gourmet burger with unique and delicious toppings...she really enjoyed it. We both had the salad bar, which was clean, fresh, and well stocked. The beer was cold, the water was refreshing, and everything was great!

As always, the steak is superb. Nick does the great job on the fire and April runs the house. Great people and a fun time in the dining experience. We happily drive the thirty miles to eat our special meals with them.

We stopped tonight after watching a basketball game nearby, and it was delicious! I can remember coming here when I was younger, and it’s still just as good. We had chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, steak fingers and grilled chicken - everything was so good! Service was great! Definitely stop by when you’re in the area, we will be back!

Food was good, but they allow the staff to bring their kids, which wouldn't be all bad except they are allowed to run, scream and pop balloons while your trying to eat and enjoy your meal.

Trappers is very down the earth steak joint that offers your usual meat and potatoes menu, but they do meat and potatoes well. If you want a good steak, you've come to the right place. If you want a good burger, still the right place. Chicken is good too.Portions are good sized, and they have a small but decent salad bar.**Dollar night is no more** Too many people started copying them, and they've stopped it until they can figure out something new** Go on Tuesday Night, Dollar night. $1 burgers, pull pork sandwich, fries, sweet potato fries, draws, and more.

Its a very good restaurant. The wait can sometimes be long due the volume of customers but i think it is worth the wait. Very good food!!
