We had fun at the zoo, the animals were pretty active which always makes it better. What I wasn't expecting was the inside museum part. I had no idea! We were visiting from out of state and wanted to take our granddaughter to the zoo. The inside experience was AMAZING. The had sections of the building set up with different animal habitat dioramas. Complete with life like animals from that area and even animated native people to that area explaining what life was like for them. Really amazed at this, pleasantly surprised. Admission was $15.

Great little zoo. Museum of taxidermy, works out for a nice air conditioned break. Start with the zoo, then head to the educational museum when it gets hot out.

This place was amazing and is a must. I have a suggestion, to put self point in some cool places. Check out the pictures! We had a blast reading and looking for the animals.

Always a joy to go and see the animals and the museum. New opportunities each time you visit to see improvements and be outside; especially during the Covid 19 crisis. Most things were open and available.

We always enjoy taking our grandchildren to Rolling Hills Zoo and Museum no matter how many times we return. One of the most impressive zoos and museums I have ever visited. Every few months we are inclined to return. The kids really enjoy themselves with their parents and grandparents. I highly recommend taking the time to visit!

We were pleasantly surprised by this addition to the zoo! It's located after a long uphill walk, which was a bit rough pushing the double stroller up, but we made it to the wonderful air conditioned museum. The lighting is dim and some spots seem a little creepy, but we assumed that was for the purpose of preserving the animals. The kids loved being able to see several of the animals so much closer than they could in real life. The setups are VERY realistic, showing predator and prey in action, and the animatronic robots are an interesting addition.

It's a medium size zoo with ample space to walk. The giraffes and most of the animals have good space in their enclosures. Sadly, the mountain lions and snow leopards don't. The zoo also has to fix the chimps and reptiles exhibits because it smells awful in there. The museum has a remarkable collection of dissected animals from all over the world.

I had been to the zoo half dozen times but never before gone through the museum. I was really missing an extensive collection of taxidermy. I can't begin to describe it. Every display is unique with backgrounds and props. It is really impressive. Honestly, I think I enjoyed it more than the live animals because you see them close up. I will definitely be back.

The museum is really cool. A lot like the Denver Museum, with the wildlife dioramas, but open and not behind glass. A great finale after visiting the zoo! There's a nice play area for little children, and the gift shop has really great books and t-shirts, there's stuffed animals and other toys too. Highly recommend!!

This place is fantastic. The amount of detail in each diorama is staggering. You could spend more time in this museum than the actual zoo trying to see it all. You'll see something new every time. They're is also a play area in the back for the kiddos to run amok in and an art gallery with wildlife paintings, photos, etc.

This made me remember of times when I went to the reserve as a boy. Was a lot of fun for the entire family. Love that any and everyone can go here and find something to enjoy about the place. Well done!

Awesome museum! We enjoy Hideaway Hollow, the kids play area. The museum area gives you a nice place to cool off on hot summer days. The traveling exhibits are also shown in this area.

Great place to alone or with friends and family! Staff friendly. Everyone wore they're masks appropriately. Even masked and distanced, people were friendly, talking, and cordial. Just a wonderful break from being cooped up. Enjoyed it tremendously!!!!

I told the kids that the Inuit robot was once a real person, just like all those former animals littering the place. They were horrified. I further explained that this is what happens to everybody after they die, and reminded them of that trip through Pirates of The Caribbean when we were in Florida. They hate me now. Thanks Museum at Rolling Hills. Thanks a lot!

Some exhibits said closed to the public yet they were letting some people in them.. many things were empty and others were spaced so far apart our 3 yo didn't wanna see everything ! Pricy for a nature walk also some vending machines didn't work and only took dollars. Some animals almost seemed sick and unhappy
