One employee on knees, other standing at Mall entrance register. Gentleman walks toward register as I head into store. I stop when I hear him say excuse me. He ask if they have 501s, the kneeling employee stretches her arm out and says check the mens area. He ask where's the men section. Again arm comes up this time with a pointed finger. Pointer says over there, standing employee says you have to look, they're all mixed in. I direct him towards the men area.Stepped over a pile of clothes, to get to piles of clothes on top of rack. Had to move the piles to find the right size. Rack so full you couldn't separate clothes, so you had to pull clothes off the hanger to look at them.No employee near the open dressing room. It says to wait but no one showed up. I stood outside the dressing room, as an employee pushed an empty clothes rack past me not saying excuse me nor asking if I needed help. Turn around to an employee watching me, we make eye contact and I say you have other things to be doing and he walks off.I'm trying to give my little brother some independence back after suffering a stroke. He needs to know who and how to ask for help if needed, so I stand back. Your employees took that away from us today. He would of walked aimlessly around looking had I not been there. He would of not been able to find his size with the pile of clothes covering the racks, nor would he of been able to seperate the hangers because of the over stocked racks. He would of waited and waited to be let in a dressing room.Any guest that has questions should be given the respect of eye contact. If employees have time to stand and talk they have time to walk a guest to what they're looking for especially ones who may not understand finger pointing or know where over there is

We are from the Garden City KS area and we have to say Ross here in Salina KS your store is very clean, organized and friendly. We enjoyed the store and the workers were all over their jobs like reorganizing clothes racks fitting rooms were clean and just an overall rating on this store we Loved it. Thank you Ross employees for your wonderful customer service and Great job on a very clean work place. 👍✍️ we will come back to shop. Super awesome place for great shoes!! Got some puma's for work for under $40!! Comfy as all get out!! Found a great array of pretty post earrings and a new fluffy pair of slippers on clearance!! (Under $-7.00) grabbed a awesome clutch wallet (under $9.00) .. eyed the Michael kors bag ($350 retail.. $99 Ross) but decided I'm GREATLY happy with my new clutch (double zipper coin catch and multiple card holders & black pleather )

It's good enough. Bit pricey with certain things. The staff clearly hate their job and act like it. Not horribly so, but it is evident. Also that whole coin shortage thing is BS. I do deposit for my job and I have a friend who works at a bank. There is no coin shortage. I've asked for $50 in quarter, $20 in dimes, $10 in nickels. And $5 in pennies recently. Got all of it.

This place is amazing it has great prices and things you can't find in other similar stores and if u do its twice as much. Just today I found a nice shirt in one store but it was 26.00 and Ross had almost the same cotton shirt for 12.00. I do sewing when I get time so I know how flimsy its made and I don't like t-shirts either. And polka dots are my thing. And another customer said isn't that cute. It's important for me to wear what looks good on me and I have been doing it for 35 or more years. Get more polka dots in thanks.

I went there and saw a shoes in low price. I was excited to buy it and took it to checkout. Then, during checkout, that person couldn’t find the price tag. So I went back to search for the price tag bc it dropped off when I walked around in the store.after I show the tag to that person, she said the tag wasn’t belong to that shoes and said I didn’t bring it to her at the beginning. But the tag dropped when I walked there, and I was just going back and picked it up. She insisted that shoes were not in the kids area. But I got the shoes from there and there are also other shoes in that big sizes, and she also saw them!I think they just put the wrong tag there to confused people. And they don’t want to be responsible for that!!! No apology for making people wait and confusing people!Don’t be fooled by the price tag!!! They probably will charge more during checkout! And they said they can decide the price!!!

It's a fun place to shop. I bought two different dresses I didn't know I needed until the last minute. I paid $ 13.00 for one and $ 15.00 for the other.They are well known labels even though they cut them off. Made very well.The only reason I gave them four stars was the fact they don't always keep up with the stores neatness.

Hard to find any staff but the layout was nice and the store was clean. It's one of the most organized Ross' I've encountered (it didn't look like a tornado flew through there!) but it'd be nice to be welcomed but friendly staff.

Ross is generally pretty awesome. I was disappointed in this store when I first moved here two years ago and I don't know if it's gotten better or I just got more used to it. Maybe a bit of both. Either way, they have much better selection than they used to.

Must be a bad time of year as they didn't have the amount of merchandise that they usually have in the past! They don't have special carts for handicapped folks eitherYou have to go thru a series of bends to get to one checkout girl in the front of store as they keep the checkout closed by the door to the parking lot where you park to come in,!

I only put one star(and applogys go to the store. I have been there and it's fine) because I was not in Ross or any shop that day. That was the day I received my 1st vaccine and was in the old Penney's store.

It’s totally a mess at here. Worst Ross ever!!!Only one cashier with a long wait line. Many items with missing price tag. The cashier (assistant manager?) was rude and not helpful at all. Worst shopping experience ever.

It's getting pretty crazy when you can walk into a retail store and not notice one retail associate that gives you a warm welcome. I really wish I could give some kind of inspiration as I would think with all the down trends of malls attendees this would be motivation enough. The store is just a bit unorganized I found myself placing shoes in the right place as well as clothes. It's just a bit frustrating and as a customer who's willing to spend money when I come into a place it's just mind boggling to see not much attention paid to the service. They possibly have a lot options but you've got to really dig to find them. Not pleased and I hope they find it within themselves as an organization to get better.

Making people leave out the back door in a dark parking lot.. Not cool. Not from this area and I parked at the mall entrance not knowing. No one said a word about it and then acted like me being concerned for my safety, due to not knowing the area, was unnecessary.. Horrible customer service. Will not return. Thank Goodness I am not from this area and I dont have to shop here when i want to shop at Ross.

Clean and the staff is helpful. Has less inventory than the others i have been too but it works for the town size. Decent place and decent pricing. One of my favs for on the go shopping.

First time shopping at the Ross in Salina Kansas. I've shopped Ross at other locations and always enjoyed it. Bur not so at this location. The employee whose job is to unlock the bath room and check in those at the dressing rooms is beyond understanding. To say Fatima, the employee, has a hostile attitude is putting it mildly. She is way beyond rude. When I reported her behavior to Tiffany, the story manager, her response was I'll spend some more time and train her. Really how much training can it take to be pleasant and unlock a door.

Rude and disrespectful staff.unable to try on cloth due to covid. My wife and I understand. So we were in front of a mirror holding stuff up to see if it would fit. A employee got angry on how we were looking at cloths. News flash I seen everyone touching and handling cloths. Just like us not like we were getting undressed and putting them on.
