Was in here grabbing a couple things last night. Customer service was awesome! From being greeted at the door to checking out. Avery and Hank had some amazing team work going on at check out. Refreshing to see two employees work together to take care of customers and business!

Always have a great shopping experience. Love to just look around and see all the new products they are always putting out. Must buys are their snacks and coffees. Great price on their pet supplies too

Easy access off Magnolia, this is one of two major home improvement stores in town. Service was ok. Very clean store and spacious. The store offers everything that lowes offers, plus a little more. Think Walmart vs Walmart super center. But some of the products they offer are more off brand. Still decent though. 4 stars because this is my third time in the store and it’s always a little challenge to get help right away. But once you get the help, it’s been good.

We bought 5/8" 4x8 OSB two and a half weeks ago for $19.98 a sheet. Last week went to go buy some more and all their stock had been bought out by the home builders so they wouldn't have any until this week. Today we bought the exact same thing for $24.37 a sheet, a hike of $4.39.Sorry but I think that is a rip off!! When are things going to quit going up?

The service was absolutely disgusting. I went for a propane exchange, and the staff there were extremely racist. They refused to exchange it because the tank was apparently too rusty for them. So, I went to Walmart, and there were no problems at all. You people are racist. I knew the guy didn't give to me because I'm black

I come thru town from out of state and we don't have Menards. I love to walk around here and get what I can for some variety. Menards has plenty of it. the pet section is well developed and theres always some impulse or cleaning things I can use.

There are a lot of different things in 1 place. Food, lumber, paint, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, clothes. That isn't even close to everything they offer. Sometimes, it is the only place I need to complete my "list" after work. And unlike Wally world, the employees ASK if you need help finding anything. 🙄

Always a good place, prices are cheaper than Walmart on most things some selection can be more limited but customer hService here is 1000 times better.

I went in to Menards to buy a washer, they had a lady that was in sales back in that department, who was very rude. Then she sent me back to delivery so I could find out what that would cost, are you kidding me 159 dollars to deliver it, .42 cents a mile on top of that, plus hook up which was another 20, I can understand the 30 dollars to remove the old what the hell this was not including tax, talk about a racket. I went to Lowe's they had free delivery, they were much nicer same washer I was going to get at Menards, saved my self almost 300 dollars.

11/17/23 wife and I spent almost 4,000 dollars today on flooring and came back to pick it up they didn’t properly wrap the pallet so the flooring was moving even while it was strapped down and the guy loading the flooring broke a light on my trailer and just let it be and didn’t do anything about it when I brought it to his attention

Love this store, but Lori at returns/customer service is very difficult to work with. She was rude and acted like helping us with our return was the largest inconvenience for her. Really disappointed that this is the person that “greeted” and “welcomed” us into the store.

I was at this Salina Menards on Saturday. I love Menards and this one is great. I needed a large cart because I wanted some Mulch and asked one of the people working there where to find one and she walked with me till I found one instead of just pointing me in a general direction. Very nice. This store is reversed to the one in Manhattan the way it is set up so that takes a bit of orientation. They have great prices and good quality items. I got my first 2 plants of the season for a great price and they were very healthy looking. I always recommend Menards when people are looking for home improvement items.

Big round of applause to Nicole! I went in to use their key-copying kiosk. She actually showed me where it was and stayed with me to make sure I didn’t have any trouble. And she was so friendly and polite! Thank you, Nicole!

I happened upon an outdoor seating group with a price of $311 on it. When I call a couple workers over to help get me a set, we start talking about what a good deal it was. Well then one of the workers types in the item number to see if it's in stock and turns out the price, which was in a big triangular card board display with the seating group pictured right beside it was actually for a grill. I go to the front and ask for a manager and I get a head cashier instead whose talking to the manager on a walkie talkie, trying to explain the situation. In which her explanation was not understandable. I ask if the manager could come speak to me. And this lady says show me, I walk back to the furniture, of course the cardboard display is gone. I see the man who had helped me he had the display in his hands. The cashier lady looks at it and says " well there was a SKU # on it" and I say "how am I supposed to know what product the sku # is for. The price tag was on this seating group." She walks away from me. I say "mame, mame". She never turns around to acknowledge me again. The manager never came down from wherever he/she was. Terrible terrible terrible customer service. Won't be returning ever.

Need to share my experience for today 4-13-23. I like the order online and pickup through the yard option, which is why I like coming to Menards. However, today this option was ruined for me, I ordered through the Menards app, got a digital receipt for pickup, went to the yard to pickup, for some reason they couldn’t find my order, young girl was working with older gentlemen. After a minute the older gentlemen says they couldn’t help and I would need to go inside to talk to front end manager, so she can fix this issue, which was frustrating but, I understand things happen. I go inside and front end manager prints me out a gate ticket, said there was no need for me to come inside as yard employees should of corrected issue and gate. I go back to yard gate, they let me inside, but tell me I have to go to order pickup in the yard to get my 4 bags of top soil, I go to order pickup and they were confused as I was, said they can pick the bags for me, or I can pickup myself, at that point I was embarrassed a bit, but chose to pickup myself as I was capable of doing so. Wasted 20 minutes going back and forth which wasn’t necessary. I really hope management trains/instructs yard employees to correct any issues like this at yard gate to save the customer the frustration.

The process for ordering online and picking up in the yard is very convenient, but I would think a store this size can afford a couple of yard guys to load your materials for you.I don’t know how many times I’ve been in there loading up huge orders by myself and someone drives by on a forklift literally looking the other way.

I love Menard, they have everything I need for home repair. The last time I was in I needed special lights for my kitchen and they had them, only I took the wrong ones. Asking the guy in lighting was not the best thing to do as he said they would work. I normally can get someone to go the extra mile, but this guy just wanted me to go. I say one guy does not make the store experience but giving a 4 stars I hope they talk to lighting as it is the only department I've had trouble in, all other departments have gone the extra mile for me.

I received an email that my prepaid order was ready to pickup. I drove an hour to get the materials. When I went in to the pickup desk, only a few items were actually pulled. They couldn't locate the other items, had to reissue a new order. Maybe a week before those arrive. Very poor service.

On 2/20/ 21 at 1:30 pm looking to purchase a new clothes dryer. Waited for help and asked a worker if she could summon a salesman. She finally came back and said she could help me. My wife and I picked out the one we wanted to purchase. The lady got on the computer and advised me there were 7 in stock. I said fine we will take one. She filled out the sale and I told her we would pick it up the next morning.Arrived at load out , a Male took our sales recipe and added it would be 10 or 15 minutes.Was told they were out of the dryer. I explained when I bought it there were 7 in stock, he then stated he had sold 6 of them last week. I said show me the records. He then kinda looked down and turned to doing something else. I asked about the floor display and was told by another person that it was gone from the display. I then asked where the complaint department was, then walked by the display and the dryer was still there. Was lied to and asked if I could get the display unit and ended up getting the display model.Very disappointing to have employee's lie and won't try to resolve this. I don't feel that it would do any good to talk to Management as well. LAST time we will shop there and would rather spend more for better service and honesty in employees. If there was a negative star I would have posted it. Sorry for my rant,but if they continue to treat customers like we were.so be it.

Employees were very friendly and helpful. However, coming into the store felt a little like they have trust issues. I get wanting security but making me walk through a turnstile just to shop kinda makes me feel like you don't trust me. Pricing is also a little higher than I would like. Overall probably won't return anytime soon

In the passed 5 years I have received rebates maybe 300$ normal buyer. Dog food, food, cleaners, lumber, yard squares, patios. Love these guys. Even candy. 😊

They were rude I ordered a shower and they quoted me a price. They gave me the wrong item. I wanted to exchange for the correct one and they wanted to charge more. I asked for manager he was short just said they couldn't do anything but give me a refund if I wasn't happy.spent 6 hours of travel time to go buy, pick and return. I was irritated.

I am normally very happy with this company but, in this case there needs to be some serious improvements. Over a month ago my wife and I ordered a play set for our children. I got the notification on my app that it had been delivered to the store. When I showed up I went back to the online order pickup area and one of the employees took my paper to go look for the item. After not seeing come back for half an hour a manager then came up and asked me if he could help me. After I told him what I was waiting for he proceeded to say "oh". He then told me that my order had been given to another customer and that they would have to order another one. When I asked how long that would take he proceeded not really show much care and said he did not know. The lack of caring and customer service that this manager had was very disrespectful. After our conversation I went back to ask him about delivering the place that went arrives and he informed me that in order to continue this conversation I would have to wait for all the other customers to be done and then he would have time. We will see if and when the other playset arrives and if it actually makes it into my hands.

We bought a stove from Salina, KS Menards and the guy that delivered it had no clue how to install cord had never done it before. And he had to use our tools because his toolbox did not have what he needed. Well stove did not work correctly made all kinds of popping noises so they sent another guy he had never installed one either had same tool box so had to borrow my tools again. Still not working right my mom called Menards talked to GM John and he was very rude he even hung up on her. I tried to call wouldn't even let me try to explain just kept interrupting me said all the popping was normal he hung up on me too. I know a brand new stove should not be popping and turning itself off I have bought new stoves before. We are returning it but will not get our delivery or install money back which is very sad because we I am on disability . I worked at Menards for 8 years and they always stood behind their products well sad to say but won't be buying much from there anymore. Also have never in my life been talked to by a GM so rudely. Doug in In apliances tried to help until GM John said no.I know you don't have to take back panel off the stove and mess with wires inside just to install the cord. Really sad because I have cancer and am on a very limited income now I have lost the money for the delivery and set up.

Before reading my review, understand I was a former employee. My time began during store set up and I was apart of Grand Opening. Following that I worked there for about a year. This place has gone down the drain. Nothing wrong with the products or the pricing, by all means if you are a well knowledge shopper you're okay. If you need help, or have any kind of questions you will run into uneducated employees nearly all across the board. I have shopped about a total of 7 times in the past 3 months. I cannot give you 1 time I had an interaction with an employee that offered nothing more but a blank stare and a sub par answer. When we worked there we took pride in customer service. Greeting every customer that walked past you, keeping the shelves CLEAN and ORGANIZED, making sure if a customer was trying to find something you didn't just point to a general direction, you dropped what you were working on, walked the customer over to the products, and offered answers to questions they may have. There is absolutely 0 customer service being offered in this store.
